  1. "As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a gangster"
  2. Hahaha
  3. Yep. We all saw it coming, but today, they actually moved a little faster then I thought they would
  4. I just checked. He won a Soap Digest Award for Supporting Actor for Lionel. He was also nominated for an Emmy a few times but he never won.
  5. Yeah. There were two different actors. In the book, Lemay didn't say who was who though, but in an interview that Eddie Drueding has posted on YT page, Lemay said that it was Nic Coster who chose not to memorize his lines. He doesn't refer to him by name though but as "the actor who played Iris' husband." But NC gives a completely different reason in his We Love Soaps interview As for the actor who had the drinking problem, I just assumed it was John Fitzpatrick because he was the only other actor who was let go around the same time, I think
  6. I always thought John Fitzpatrick was the one with the drinking problem.
  7. I don't think he was the one with the drinking problem. In his book, Lemay said that Nic Coster chose not to learn his lines and relied on Beverlee McKinsey to get them through their scenes and that's why he was fired.
  8. Haha this song seems very ironic to me now 😂
  9. Yeah I guess it is possible that an editor took out the AW stuff. In terms of the soaps, I agree with you that AW was more iconic then SB, but in terms of Nic Coster, I think the role of Lionel Lockridge was more his defining role as an actor then Robert Delaney or Eduardo Grimaldi was.
  10. Great post! I don't think the show's been that terrible either. The problem for me is this huge storyline that weaved in so many characters (which is the type of storyline that I like on soaps) has been built around mask and dopplegangers and so many other constantly used tropes that make characters look so stupid. It was just not needed. They could have done the same storyline but in a different way And agreed on Chanel. It's nice to see a character like that on a soap. I just hope she's well used and not made to be solely a temporary spoiler for Tripp/Allie, Eli/Lani, etc.
  11. Just in case anybody doesn't know, the EP from Somerset that Nic Coster said "shall remain nameless" was Lyle B. Hill. He was also the EP of Another World before Paul Rauch
  12. Agreed They could do so much with this storyline. Instead of watching Bill/Liam or Hope/Liam have the same conversation over and over, they could weave Thomas and Wyatt or other characters and add new dynamics to the storyline
  13. After seeing today's episode, I think maybe it'll just amount to a friendship rather than an affair or something else.
  14. The best bet would be to read Nic Coster's interview on We Love Soaps. He talks about his time on AW there
  15. I wonder if it will amount to something
  16. Okay, where have Gregory and Jackie been while all of this stuff is happening to Chase? Still loving Jason/Britt. I also like the fact that the show remembered the whole thing about Faison passing on Huntington's Disease to his kids. KT has been playing that vulnerability really well.
  17. Sometimes he does ask questions that are posted in the chat. For some of the reunions, I wish he did it more though lol we'll probably hear a lot about ATWT and what Nic Coster's been up to lately, but AW, I'm not so sure
  18. Thanks! It's strange how it affects some people but does nothing to others. The soreness in my arm isn't even as bad as it was with my first shot
  19. I would see a purpose for Xander and Chanel if the storyline was still going on. What exactly was the point to them getting married and trying to scam Paulina if they've already been moved into their own separate storylines?
