Daniel Jonas (DAYS) Making him the best thing to happen in Salem ruined every character that he interacted with.

For a while, Abby Devereaux had makings of a "good girl gone bitch" on DAYS, but I guess they weren't having it. I LOVED OG recipe Nicole Walker as well. The conniving, alcoholic bitch was amazing. Weren't they all basically the same character, no shade, but I know that Rachel was only created because she got AW first, and Erica was created first.

I just realized on my recent rewatch, that while the show is somehow known for catfight, they were very rare. In fact, in 7 seasons Amanda slaps only ONE female character and it's in the last season. Also, the characters jump into marriage super fast, it's really crazy. One little nuance that I have always liked, is the repeating of wardrobe and some of the other more realistic behavior.

I had no idea that sweeps were still even a thing with how soaps are the past 10-15 years.

I'm still disappointed that GH a good opportunity to have Lila Rae come back to seduce both Corinthos bros and extend the fued with Skye and Carly as well as have a long standing feud betwixt them.

I wonder why she's not doing a soap now. I would love to see her in a pairing with Carter on B&B, or battle it out with Carly on GH.

I just mean that FOX ratings were held at a different standard.

Especially because FOX never really cared about ratings.

Sunset Beach would have flourished way better at FOX!

When I was really into getting a my own soaps on air, I always wanted to pitch to FOX for late afternoon, or the 10 or 11 o'clock hours.

It's crazy that NBC started "Must see TV" and now doesn't have a single sitcom. I tend to think that they felt the same way that they felt about soaps. It's like they really don't want to do it. Look good they treated "Community" or "Great News."

Okay, what's the story behind keeping Trevor St. John in these Merv Griffin ass turtle necks?! It's as bad as Brook Lynn on GH with the blazers.

When you think about it, sitcoms are now gone. NBC doesn't even do them anymore. NBC doesn't do soaps or sitcoms. NBC has become The Today Show, The Voice, Chicago, Law & Order and Jimmy/Seth, sometimes broken up by AGT.

I would totally be down for Melinda Clarke! She was actually my pick for Alexis on Dynasty 2.0. Melinda and Jamie need to play sisters!

I totally think she could have worked as Victoria if given the material.

I'm in love with the idea of Jamie Luner as Phyllis on YR. She's got that sexiness that Phyllis is supposed to have and plays the bitch well.

I'm opposed to giving any actor that much control, especially one so replaceable.

I feel like a Stan here, but I really think she'd make a good team with Bob Guza. I think they could provide a checks and balances system, she's good at character and the heart, he fills out the action and keeps it from being too boring.

I just want to know where these writers are getting the idea that twenty something nepotism babies are just dying to be married with kids. That and the snow white Los Angeles are the most unrealistic things about this show, and that says A LOT!
