  1. I do remember that and as I recall, these shows gathered ratings. I think it could work now. Hell, it's better than the 6 hours of court shows, followed by Maury and Wilkos! I know I would certainly love a new episode of a soap every day over that crap!
  2. If I was going to do a soap, that's kinda how I'd do it. Almost novela style, in mini seasons that could be open ended, but also end without feeling like you're missing something.
  3. I've got to get down to Duke! How does everyone feel about syndicated soaps? Do you think that's an idea that could be an alternative to the network bullshit?
  4. 13 Bourbon Street sounds like an interesting idea, and the creators sound so positive and invested about it. I personally hate singing and singing storylines on soaps, but this could have been a fun idea. It's really disappointing that FOX never got into the the late night soap game. There's a huge field of potential there! If I actually ever get a soap in the air, that's where I want it! No competition and FOX ratings are a bit more lenient. You can also get a bit more risque. Bourbon Street was such a missed opportunity. I would love to see the Bible.
  5. I'm really interested in learning more about "Bourbon Street" and why it never came to pass. All I know is that it was supposed to air on FOX. Any other details would be amazing.
  6. I guess it seems about right since he only got four hours of screentime in the 3 years of the show.
  7. I totally remember Fifteen! I had my whole family watching! Wasn't Brooke the bitch?!
  8. I've heard of Swan's Crossing, but I've never watched. I believe it to be on YouTube though. Something about the title never really did it for me.
  9. Oh. How easily I forget! Did you watch? What did you think?
  10. I wonder why FOX, or the now defunct UPN or WB got into soaps, of the daytime variety. Or the CW. FOX could even get something later in the evenings.
  11. Mark Pinter would be a great Jack Abbott, if the option were ever an option. Mark Pinter would be a great Jack Abbott, if the option were ever an option.
  12. I always thought his butt was bigger. With that thick, gorgeous body I just expect more. đŸ˜–đŸ˜Ÿâ˜šī¸
  13. Does anyone remember talk of a soap called "Thunder's Secret" around 2000-01?
  14. I said this in another thread, but do you think Jennifer Bransford who briefly played Carly on GH could've been a good Phyllis?
  15. Oh brother. I'm sure you're right. I really wish it had happened though. Then we wouldn't be dealing with Billy/Phyllis.
  16. I recently heard that Jamie Luner was another one in the running and I could get behind that. Then I heard recently her name was mentioned when YR recast Phyllis. I feel like she would have been the perfect choice for Phyllis! Gina Tognoni is good, but I think Jamie Luner would have just brought something special.
  17. You mean to tell me that I could have been seeing Tom Welling. Everyday?!
  18. I think I might be the only person to not have a problem with Jennifer Bransford. Though, I do wonder what Jamie Luner would have done with the role. That still intrigues me.
