  1. I'm still not convinced Adrienne's dead.
  2. I was thinking the same. Excepting the GH fixation with the OLTL 2, it's exactly like DS which would regularly bring back actors in the exact same era/timeline. And I know exactly who SourceRyan used to be before his rebrand on another site. We've all seen people come and go. But I wasn't aware it was any big secret. I don't believe he's been active here in ages though, unless he has some new alias.
  3. Oh lord! I do miss them. I'd still do that Angie Hubbard special guest spot in an abortion rights story with Brook Kerr's character on GH any day.
  4. I've never liked her as an actress, so no from me.
  5. Emily O'Brien did a ton of voice work for the major video game Death Stranding (among others) and had an American accent. She can pull it off but the constant reusing of actors in new roles is even more ludicrous than the GH situation with Howarth and Easton, and that's saying something.
  6. The constant switching of actors in contract roles is just idiotic. And the Kristen merry-go-round was the start of it.
  7. And it's shameful, and the unions should be called out for it.
  8. I do not remotely believe he is ill, but Ken is the type of dude I could buy phoning it in from his cellphone on speaker like Charlie's Angels and doing a bunch of fake coughing to pretend.
  9. It's not about what you've seen. She has a long history at various forums and is banned for reasons that pre-date you or your personal experience. Please accept that and move on.
  10. K*la is a well known troll. People are telling you the truth. Her name is banned. Try typing it.
  11. Seems neither Tom nor Meg are long for the show at this point. I wonder how many mental health hiatuses Meg actually had in the last 3 years here - it seems like more than one and several breaks for Elizabeth MacRae.
  12. My first thought. But if the person I think it is really wants to be a leader they should put their name to it. It's not like they're a stranger to publicity, and they're almost up there with Lucci. It would be hard to ignore. I am not going to attribute to illness for Ken Corday what incompetence, disinterest and decades of buck-passing and studied denial and avoidance have always given us before.
  13. There was never anything like this before that I know of. Nothing that went to the outside major trades about a harassment scandal in a very charged time post-MeToo. Of course Corday has no idea what to do and is freezing up. He can't treat Variety or Deadline like Digest, threaten to pull their access and launch another Plan to Save Days interview where he always pretends to be the dad who went away on a business trip for six months but is home now and all is well.
  14. In fairness I believe they also tested Zaslow with ES early on. He was all over the mix before they settled on Jenny.
  15. Oh, you tease! Though I have a hard time cheering on creative changes made during a strike. I remember when Frons tried to ace out Carlivati in '08 for Gary Tomlin.
  16. Frank better not turn Kelly's into another gray set.
  17. Didn't they also test Clint and Pat early on, or am I crazy? It was wild to discover that apparently Ivan Kipling's weird run-in with the teen scene lingered into 1985 and maybe early '86, supposedly with Cassie clearing his name in Laurel's death before he left town and that possibly facilitating a break-up with Rob. Am I correct that after Jenny faked a marriage to Brad and left in '85, that they returned to David/Jenny for one more remote in '86 in Vienna?
  18. Who's gonna pardon him??
  19. So a surprising beat suddenly gets played in a March '85 episode, relatively early in Rauch's tenure and remolding of the show IIRC: Larry has gotten engaged to the doomed Laurel Chapin and is set to marry her on April Fool's Day (no comment). It's congratulations all around, including from Wanda who has just one central misgiving about someone I never expected to hear Rauch's era bring up: What about Karen? At this point Karen has been gone from the show for over two years, I believe. Who's the Boss? is already a hit sitcom for Judith Light; she's not coming back. But they play this beat anyway and it's not a passing mention; Larry has to work to convince Wanda that he wouldn't drop Laurel the instant Karen waltzed back into town and that he feels certain Laurel doesn't have as dark a past as Karen. Which makes me wonder: Were they pondering a recast? Or was the parallel all just setup for what I see was apparently Roy Thinnes' second return as Alex Crown (Laurel's ex, the mob boss I think) and second death? Here's where we get into the weeds: Janice Lynde's Laurel had been on the show since late '83 or early '84 by this point, and I believe she dies around Christmas '85. I would assume most of the Coronal/Chapin saga from the previous creative regime had already played out by this point, yet at this juncture there clearly there is a bit more to come. I'm just surprised the implication in this scene is that with less than a year left in Laurel's tenure and her being phased out, Larry still doesn't know about all of her past with Alex Crown.
  20. It should not be possible for Kristen Blake to enter a court of law without bursting into flames.
  21. ....Unfortunately, it is also Gregory.
