  1. Yeah, that's why I find it likely there had to be some bad vibes around him of some kind even if I don't recall the rumor. It's too bad. I do think Gregory Harrison has chemistry with Jane Elliot despite thus far having played one of the most boring characters on the current show. It is weird to see Tracy and Alexis in a love triangle together. But I'd still probably find someone else lol.
  2. I'd never heard anything about DG being difficult, but I wasn't that plugged into the show at that time and it wouldn't surprise me if he was reported to be. I do think his energy was volatile and that Chad was prettier and more of a conventional young lead for soaps (though also very talented when he started).
  3. You could do it now but I think you'd have to write them both out for awhile after, lol. Which is probably okay given Michael needs a long break. I still wish we knew if anything bad had gone down with DG because I'd still have him back.
  4. And I suspect they were actually toying with it when Drew Garrett and Lexi were in the roles and on the run in beachwear together. Soaps know how that stuff plays visually to an audience and I didn't think it was coincidence. As you mentioned, Chad and Lexi had it too back then.
  5. Apparently official per his IG, and shocking. Here's a screencap (enlargeable by double clicking): @DRW50
  6. Oh God, that's even worse.
  7. Donna, it is not Calista Flockhart. You know very well that it is not Calista Flockhart, famous primetime TV star of Ally McBeal and longtime spouse of Harrison Ford. Judi Evans plays Bonnie Lockhart, who has been around for 20 years.
  8. I was watching a June '92 ep the other day and it still amazes me that Linda Thorson hung on as Julia Medina well into summer of that year - I think she departs very shortly after this after being a red herring in the first Carlo murder mystery (not sure how she leaves). I keep wondering if she did much of anything for most of '91 or '92 up to this point. There's a lot of odd stop/start subplots or story points for various classic and/or Rauch holdover characters in this early Gottlieb/Malone period - Alex, for example, pingpongs from Bo to Carlo to her latest obsession here, Herb Callison (as well as Cain Rogan, IIRC).
  9. Frons wanted to keep the OLTL scabs in '08, IIRC.
  10. You mean Brandon's Buzz, Donna. And I don't think that is ever going to happen.
  11. People are chatting away about hypotheticals but I'm not seeing any actual indication that JFP is in any way connected to DAYS or in the running at all.
  12. I think that was the name. He got busted for either dealing or possession in the early 2010s IIRC, so he would fit both the age range and 'a few issues' comment.
  13. Pretty sure one of the people mentioned in that item is one of the pre-Massey Wills (not Chris Gerse).
  14. It is truly weird seeing Steve Burton and Kassie sharing scenes and supposed history. She looks great though.
  15. If you know someone is getting something wrong, then you don't have to respond to literally everything while perpetuating the ahem, 'error'. You can just say they've got the wrong person.
  16. Ah, finally mask off. Next.
  17. I find all Dante and Sam's kids unrecognizable and too old now, to say nothing of Charlotte the mutant. He is. Or should be.
  18. Again, I wouldn't be so sure about the public buying it. There's the usual loud minority voices but I think we're in a real Eat the Rich moment these days, for better or worse, and that starts at the top.
  19. I agree. That's why I've been working on using Nitter to interface with the mess Musk made and still keep using the app/bring tweets around.
  20. He'd probably be replaced by someone as bad or worse morally, but almost certainly not by someone anywhere near as effective. That's a big part of why he is hanging on. Losing McConnell would be a major blow to the GOP.
  21. His name is Albert Alarr. His picture is in this thread and in the dedicated Deadline thread about the news story.
