  1. I didn't want to bump the Geary thread for this, but as we've discussed this stuff a lot of late this infamous clip from E!'s Pure Soap in '93 has returned online, in which Tony is still visibly pissed following the airing of Bill Eckert's demise. (I won't timestamp it because there's fan reaction and the scene itself in the video, but they start discussing it at 3:20) Worth noting to how sharp some of them are. Including the fan who wants him to die on an ELQ ship, as Bill first appeared when one sank.
  2. Voila: His prior interview with Logan a few months before re: the Fluke/DID reveal has him all in on the DID and Luke being a serial killer, BTW. And praising Ron for it lol.
  3. Can't wait to see it, somewhere, somehow. 🍵
  4. I miss that haze! It's overly lit these days but was worse in 2015.
  5. They did, and it was terrible right down to Frank returning from the dead. Which Tony also roasted in his exit interview. The only highlight were the scenes back home in PC between Luke and Lucky, where by their own admission Tony and JJ tossed out the script and rewrote it all. You could tell, because it was lightyears better than any dialogue on the show in a number of years.
  6. There was never a real Denise.
  7. Per Luke's terrible final episode: I still don't think Laura ever actually opened or read that letter. I may be wrong. It always seemed to me like Carlivati's final FU to Geary, who had prevented him from reuniting LNL; in that letter, I suspected, Luke would have put his true feelings for Laura. I'd still use that letter or others like it today lol.
  8. Anywhere to watch it outside of Canada in HQ? I know @Darn might be into it too. HNY btw.
  9. I had no idea she was on there too. Oy vey. The one upload of Night Shift 2 I know of is extremely poor quality. I've always wanted to revisit it properly though, I hear great things and I only got through part of it BITD.
  10. Heads up. Only up for Jan 1, apparently.
  11. I probably wouldn't have a lookalike pose as Tony - that's just too much, even on GH atm lol. I would have him claim to be a third brother or something, but he would turn out to be a scoundrel with a heart of gold in the end. I can even see playing a wilder Brad Maule off Tracy, lol. Idk!
  12. That was in Night Shift 2. I still need to rewatch that. John Reilly made a very brief appearance on GH proper in 2013 while Luke, Laura and Holly were searching for the cure for Luke's polonium poisoning. Sean had been poisoned first, and only had maybe one or two lines. His daughter Annie (played by another actress, not Caitlin Reilly at that time) did most of the talking. They later said he'd been cured. I found it odd Sean barely spoke at the time, but when we later learned JR died of dementia/Alzheimer's I wondered if there was a connection. He certainly seemed to still have the same intensity and presence regardless of his few words. I've always wanted them to bring Annie Donely in on contract at the PCPD or WSB. I understand Sharon Wyatt doesn't want to appear on-camera anymore due to her illness (hence her voice cameo over the phone when Sean died) but I hope we can hear from her again someday.
  13. Same here. But I did love them any time I saw classic eps.
  14. ChelseaKat is apparently a real shop via F&W Style. I don't know if they're selling the Anita Baby bag. The Christmas episode definitely did give me P&G/Marland ATWT vibes. Very warm and not artificial in its sentiments. I hope @DRW50 will check it out!
  15. Did y'all talk about the Anita Baby bag ChelseaKat made? That thing was a gorgeous beast. Ain't no Shop the Soaps.
  16. I would definitely go there, and have Lucas challenge Carly more re: all she's let slide with Sonny vs. Lucas and his family. I think Van plays that righteous indignation well. And I would keep him with Marco, who would probably eventually flip on his father to the PCPD or something and get away relatively free but there would still be an edge. I might even have Lucas call on Delia Ryan (I know, you're thrilled) to dig deeper into the Jerome background - or Ava's adopted family who she was raised by, who I don't think we've ever seen or knew much about, unless I'm mistaken. (IIRC Delia said Ava took the name as a teenager after tracking down Delia and finding out she was born into power.)
  17. Maule is a Texan IIRC, and has a real eccentric streak beneath the surface when Tony got going. I think he'd have a ball with it.
  18. I just adore the Tony/Bobbie saga under Labine today, as an adult viewer. It feels very lived in and painfully true, and Brad is just amazing to watch. It hits you different when you're older, and you want more for them as a couple. It gives me pause to remember @DRW50 (I think) and their idea of a Tony doppleganger con man for BM to come on and play and have a bit of fun. And you'd get to see his ghost again too, because why not.
  19. I always found Karla cloying and off-putting on GL, sometimes on B&B, etc. She has also really surprised me here, I think she's a tour de force. The dialogue work varies by the day, and she sells a lot that some quite awkward or stagey writing doesn't.
  20. Alexa Havins' response is hilarious. Clearly a big fan of that story. Van Hansis either is scripted or an avid GH fan lol, more power to him.
  21. Nancy contains multitudes. Sometimes I roll my eyes at her behavior, but her heart is in the right place.
  22. That is insanely in-depth, @Franko . A man after my own heart. Thanks! Did Sean and Tiffany have a prior offscreen relationship? I don't know why I thought that, they seemed to go back much longer. I didn't know Sam Behrens came back to properly conclude Jake and Bobbie after Scott's machinations while Jake was offscreen. It's too bad we never saw him again. Wonderful to see the great Nita Talbot all but stealing the show as Delfina (a designer? stylist? not sure) in the NYE '81 episode. I know someone (Monty?) apparently brought her back for a guest bit during someone's wedding (Ned and Jenny, I think) in '91 or '92. I never knew she was on the show.
  23. Anyone know of rough dates re: Bobbie and Tony getting together? I know their wedding was in fall of '89 or something. Always wanted to see more of that courtship. I have also always hoped to watch more of the Sean/Monica story where she gets roped into his scheme. I am amazed she bounced back from that with the family. I've seen bits and pieces here and there. BTW, how long was Tiffany gone between stints and when did she first become involved with Sean?
  24. The whole thing with there being like maybe six hardcore Dex fans on Twitter just cracks me up. I'm not sure Joss could still remember him enough to spell his name. Three letters!
