  1. To quote the Talking Heads: Watch out, you might get what you're after.
  2. I don't think so, but like many NB moments in recent years I couldn't look directly at it. Though nothing will ever beat Luke and Felicia's "Swannee River/Proud Mary" number for cringe.
  3. Meanwhile:
  4. Ric swiftly married Stafford's Nina in RC's truncated final year, gaslit her with a crying baby audio app named "Waaahhh!" as she crawled around on all fours, and before that danced in place and autotune sang to an unimpressed Elizabeth begging for her love at the Nurses Ball in a moment I've tried to scrub from my mind.
  5. If they still don't give her major story again after Deadline runs this, woof.
  6. And day after day of everyone from Anna on down lecturing Robin on how lucky she was to net a man like Patrick. It seemed like at least some of the Guza team's grudging acceptance that they were stuck with Scrubs, when they clearly had hoped to have JT/Patrick in play more with others (the long Carly friendship/flirtation, etc). But yes, Robin got off easier than others. Scrubs got a lot of good material and were one of the central hearts of the show. And I actually liked Anna's reentry to the show in the mid-2000s, rappelling down from a chopper and beating up Robert. People are lampooning it recently for reasons I don't understand, but that's Anna to me. It was the entire stupid Markham Islands caper with Holly, etc. (and Luke's latest Guza-fied heir/Lucky stand-in, Dillon) that didn't work for me, along with of course what they did with Anna later with Eli Love, etc. But it's all small potatoes compared to the mess she's in now.
  7. I don't think we have anything so certain yet - but there are similarities in the current momentum.
  8. It's true - IIRC she ordered a clerk to do it.
  9. In other polls, Kamala continues to re-tighten and make up on Joe's numbers:
  10. Hel-lo:
  11. I thought it was a great idea on paper and with those actors, but always done with such chauvinism and condescension by the writers who clearly disliked Alexis at the time.
  12. I love RH and I always enjoy smarmy Ric weaseling about. Few things could be worse than his last return, and the character has been missed so why not.
  13. Speaking of Fields, I don't think we ever knew who stalled out the Living Single revival a few years ago. I seem to recall one of the cast saying it wasn't who people might think (Latifah). Later I came to suspect it was actually Erika Alexander, who said more recently she had been hesitant and would only want to do it if it had a compelling premise but had since gotten onboard. She's doing fairly well these days with various roles and other projects, and of course her role in American Fiction.
  14. It sounds like it's Lisa to me from other people's snooping, but that could be my own bias. Lisa and her evangelical family got up to some wild shít in the public eye in the 2000s.
  15. There's no way Mulcahey would've gone along with this. I assume he's pretty much long gone in anything but name only, and I'm barely getting through catching up with the rest of July myself so I will be dropping til Jonathan turns up.
  16. TW: Brian Stelter
  17. This isn't even about that. FV just wanted to hire Eva LaRue (Mark Teschner told us so) and now wants her viable to remain. I don't blame Eva, who is playing this woman to the hilt. She's not the issue, it's the character and the show.
  18. The fact that Kristina said that line is insane and actionable. I've had enough. People gotta go.
  19. That's a shame, though I dunno how well any revival would've done after the recent streaming crash vs. maybe 5-10 years ago when it was all the rage. She says you can suss out the castmember checking who she's still tight with on IG, but she still follows all the other girls AFAIK and I can't see any of them in any recent posts (I also didn't know she was on Palm Royale, good for her).
  20. The Beltway is notably bitter about lacking a Dems in Disarray open convention - especially over a Black woman.
  21. delete - older clip than I thought. Kamala is edging forward (click to enlarge):
