  1. EXCUSE ME??? Uh...Ben is totally giving Dumb Jock with a Dream, NOT a frat boy. So 😜
  2. And on that note...OMG!!! Not Bill finding it hard to perform because his mind is on Dani!!! IT'S HAPPENING!!!!!!!!!! LOL. And yep...Derek has been shirtless quite a few times. He was overdue to be again. And...yum.
  3. Same. If there is one thing Dani is going to do it's going to shade Ashley to high heaven. I hollered.
  4. First of all, thank you all for giving more specifics and what you mean on dialogue. I'm understanding it a lot better. In fact, the latest discussions of it have been making me think of my long discussion on Korte vs CVD when they took over as co-HWs on GH...as well as my own writing lol. Even now, it's clear which stories are whom and who likes what character. (ie. they both seem to love writing Drew as a villain now, but Korte's breakdowns clearly love to play Curtis vs Drew in a way that's intriguing/entertaining/evenly vs CVD). I guess it boils down to who one likes as a scriptwriter. I know a lot of us like it when Jazmen is scripting even though he has his (hit/miss) flaws ie. hip slang when he has to write for the teens. Outside of him...hmmm...I always like when Tate is writing from both Sara Bibel's and Teresa Zimmerman's breakdowns. And I know I mentioned that Martin is hit or miss depending on who does the breakdown. Given the dialogue discussion, whom scripting are you drawn to? Or is there anybody on staff?
  5. Well, I see you all keeping it juicy. Love it!!! Ha!!!
  6. Well, Bill would want that psycho with child under this roof. He always has to be in control.
  7. Same. And also a realistic conflict for her and Jacob to deal with given that Jacob gives big family vibe.
  8. Same. I would think they would do some redressing so it seem like everyone has a home.
  9. More reason for me to tune in next month. Hopefully they allow Nina to mourn, and also get a slap in on Dumas Cane.
  10. RHOM Well, I finally got done rewatching (all) of the finale before the reunion tonight. And...??? Ever since the ladies came back from their multiple vacas, I had felt the energy was off. Or worse that it was subsiding. Usually, RHOM took me on a roller coaster ride that kept right on going. Very much like SLC tend to. And it wasn't that anything was going on. I loved they did a breather episode, touching on Kiki and her father, Lisa and Cody and where they stand, and the ever-present simmering tension between Alexia and Marysol. Not to mention the breakdown of the friendship between Julia and Adriana. Which brings me to Adriana. Adriana, Adriana, Adriana. Love or hate her, she will entertain. For most of this season, she has been wild, but relatable, dealing with her BFF siding with the 'cool' kids. Meanwhile, her BFF has been doing everything under the sun to be relevant. So Julia using Adriana's legit absence (with pot-stirring help from Alexia and Kiki) was just foul. So was Julia trying to get Adriana's goat at not only Stephanie's event, but Adriana's Art Basel event. With friends like her... And then WOW at Kiki being the one behind the birthday cake shade. And the revelation was when I was reminded that Adriana can be her own worst enemy. Kiki explained, but Adriana turned it into a whole thing. And right when she and Kiki came to terms with it and Wretched vs Ratchet, Adriana had to deal with an unexpected ambush...something made easy by how she acts. And the sad thing was that by manipulating an ambush into happening, Marysol just continued to prove what has been said about her all the way back to when Ana was on the show in Season 2...producing behind the scenes to get yet another cast member out. Even if Adriana chose to use the word. It didn't take away from the fact that Marysol's slip was showing. My only disappointment was that in setting it up since last reunion...they only focused on the tension between Marysol and Alexia in the literal credits. Oooo I was so annoyed. ANNOYED. I was looking forward to those two butting heads...something I expected given Alexia was using Stephanie on Marysol, giving us a good Marysol vs Stephanie scene where Marysol actually got gathered. I can't help, but wonder if Production perhaps just buried the storyline. ALEXIA. I literally gasped when the linear notes revealed that she and Todd divorced. I mean...really? I knew they had announced it in real time. I knew they were flirting all over social media in spite of it. And then I hadn't heard a thing. So that's the kind of surprise I liked. Also surprising was seeing Peter be right for a change. Todd was basically dog-walking Alexia by not being on camera. And then how he left her and traumatized Frankie was bad form. It was also clear she was relishing the Adriana ambush. LARSA. And Alexia was not the only one. I enjoyed her in the penultimate episode pot-stirring with the birthday cake. Her being like a dog with a bone was hilarious. That said...she did not do much for me in the finale. And then to FINALLY introduce her man in the linear notes was things to make you go hmmm. GUERDY. Surprisingly mute for me. Except for when she was at Adriana's event. Honestly, Adriana really and truly should say less. She might not be racist, but Adriana was coming across completely ignorant which is bad, too. JULIA. Oh...so her kids DID fall out with her over the adoption. So much so that they are not talking to her? Intriguing. But we can't have that so here was Julia trying to play victim to Adriana. Saying Adriana was not fun anymore. WHAT, BITCA? How would you know when you have spent no time around her? And then wanted to whine about her not going to your event when you didn't even specify that you were singing. When you knew she was working on her act, too? GIRL, BYE. And then she kept poking the bear, knowing Adriana has a temper. And it's low class that she was even trying to poke said bear at events she knew they were trying not to have scenes at. And then that narrative about Adriana she was trying to paint on screen....GUUUUURL. Adriana has shown the good, the bad, and the ugly on this show. And she's been very candid about the slow dissolution of her friendship with Julia. Moreso than Julia. So Julia can STFU and have ALL...THE...SEATS. Or as I said when I watched...COME BETTER, BABE. Such a waste of space. LISA. Stayed looking good throughout. Meanwhile, I liked that scene between her and Jody when they laid their cards out on the table. I liked she had Adriana's back in little ways. And ooo at her linear note with her and Jody starting a business. STEPHANIE. I felt she had a decent first season. That said...she has to stop talking about that plane her money. I respect she asked Adriana to sing at her event. And I loved her gathering Marysol in the penultimate episode. FOH KIKI. I was happy she mended fences with her father since she really wanted that. I admit that I was side-eying how she was bringing him around. And I so gasped at the reveal she was behind the birthday cake. I liked she tried to resolve it with Adriana, and it sounded like a misunderstanding. But Adriana made that into a big hill so Kiki diva-walked away. I giggled at her and 'Gifts.' Still...I don't understand her mending fences with Adriana again in the finale only to leave her out to dry during the ambush. MARYSOL. First of all...JILL ZARIN!!!! That said...she saw she messed with the wrong one in the one on one with Stephanie, so I liked how she pivoted with an apology. So it was sad that she did exactly what was expected of her by the Adriana ambush. And it's sad because she's tight with Alexia and her, that it seem to go over Kiki's head that Marysol kinda set her up. And to think that I thought it was going to be a Marysol takedown a few episodes back. So slippery. smh. ADRIANA. Again...say less. She was in such a strong position, but that finale? Planning with Marysol and getting exposed. Her being a diva before her performance. She said she wanted to practice for Steph's event. I was looking forward to it. And it was THAT. Mind you, I love we got to hear the theme song since Bravo didn't use taglines in the finale hehe, but that last song...I expected more. Adriana does make it hard to like her. Because you have moments like in the finale and the episode before where you see her intelligence and how much she is involved and love the art world, but then she loses that temper and then BOOOOM!!! Even if she does have the right...I wish she would have played it so much better. The audience was on her side. I felt it all ended in a whimper really, but still so much more enjoyable (Xmas in Miami...there's an idea I don't think they've done). Off to the reunion...
  11. Yay for Kate!! I'm sure Melissa will come rolling back in no time.
  12. They really did. I vaguely remember discussing it. Hoping it would go that way since Taylor and Deacon needed something to do at the time. Especially Taylor who was trying to be as anti-Ridge as possible. I hoped for it, but alas. I need to see more. But I'm not against it. It was one of the few times I felt RB was being Taylor.
  13. People had been asking about it for a while. And I agree that was a clever way to do it. It also touched on the Dani/Anita dynamic only hinted at in Week 1 again which was a bonus.
  14. The bonds of growing up together. They are used to Vanessa's naughtiness. Especially Dani LongLegs. Hehe. Not DAYS catching a stray. Same. Sidenote...Jacob tricking Shanice into basically admitting Derek is hiding something without her having to break any oath. Such a detective move. Nice to see one with a brain. Also same. Given Dani's dialogue today...and how she's been surprisingly on the money about Ms. Dimera...I mean Hayley...I'm seriously starting to wonder about Number 2. Could Randy and Hayley have a past with Bill that we don't know about yet?
  15. If we do see her this year at all, I also feel Deanna will be among us by Christmas. Do we think she will be a bad girl though? Given I mentioned the increase in Hayley/Caroline scenes could be a hint of feedback finding arriving, do you think so? Because I feel so many here called that Derek would go dark at some point almost from the moment he moved in with Ashley the first time. They just didn't know how he would go dark. And goodness knows he stays being triggered by Andre...like today. Even though Andre is now married then. Then again, I could see him feeling a way that Ashley did not tell him. It was good ole Nosy Nurse Shanice. hehe. Not at all gone. Just on that annoying backburner. I do wonder if it will be the main draw to Bill's birthday party...assuming we are still getting that. At least by November Sweeps?
  16. Yeeeeah at this point, I feel that Andre will be more of a legit obstacle to Bill/Dani than Ms. Dimera...I mean Hayley will simply because she's coming across as a complete plot device spoiler now than a person with depth to make Bill be torn between her and Dani. Andre, on the other hand, we have seen form a bond with Dani and see her at her best and worst. But we have seen fighting, bonding, and heat from Dani and Bill as well. And Bill and Andre both like to mark their 'territory.' So I could easily see a Bill/Dani/Andre triangle with legs. And all three have their own money...as the writing reminded us about Andre today.
  17. hahahaha.at the quotation marks. Exactly. For the record...I like Pamela, too, she of the high ponytail toss. But she is a bit of a wasted opportunity. Lol. The enemy of my enemy my friend. You will probably love someone stepping to the ho you can't stand. 😜
  18. Emphasis on HEEEEEEEEEAT. hehe.
  19. See? And I can see Vanessa getting on Pamela about that just like she got on Pamela (for no reason mind you) when Diego kissed her to make Vanessa. And then...we are off to the races.
  20. And she does it well, too. But I mentioned it before...if they would write Pamela vs Vanessa over Dani...it would write itself and give Pamela more of a way to establish herself. Yeah, I love, love, love they have really started to maintain Hayley/Caroline even when Caroline isn't physically in the episode. I guess we have gotten to the episodes where they got some feedback perhaps? I think they are taking too long with Randy/Hayley and could be doing better maintaining that plot thread since the baby lie is THE current A story. Which probably explains today's ending as well as Hayley's growing insecurity and need for more of Caroline to show Kristen Dimera...I mean Hayley's POV. Same. Though with the Dani drinking thing, unless most of their plot threads, I honestly thought it was dropped...which would make it the actual first dropped plot thread. Cuz there have been several times before the Vegas wedding that Dani has been with cocktail. So I assumed. So given how many people have asked and how many times I've said that...you know I had to mention it was FINALLY brought back up. But yeah, this show always circles back around. It's why I know Laura and the accident will pop up again as well as that little conversation Smitty/Marcel having a hint that Kenny will probably come up again.
  21. Very. I might go and get nosy in spite of myself. Oooo, but they did. I was so annoyed. But I feel McKenna and LW have found a nice groove as of late. Not that the writers are writing to it unfortunately. It's usually they write them as a plot point or as that wacka wacka gimmick situation per episode that we know that I don't like. So different, but still not like it was when Charles was in the role.
  22. lol. It took me a moment to realize who Sam was. I feel like they are going to bring in mostly new people for those sets so I don't know how that will work with the young'uns we already have. Yeah, we have Ty and Sam, but I do wonder if they will tie...say Chels and Kat...even Eva...into that set since they are still young, but above college age at least?
