  1. Well, I already knew people were going to have an issue with the Doug/Vanessa/Joey storyline taking the center of attention during this good week. I don't mind being in the minority. That does not take away from the fact that of the B storylines introduced on this show (Dani/Andre being the other), I felt it has been developed enough that it could be the center of attention (also loved Dani/Andre also was solid along with it). And this week is proving that versus the June storyline which I said was not ready the week they made it the center of attention for the reveal. The discussion I've seen here makes me think of how I felt about the A story of Dani/Bill/Hayley. I won't wax poetic over my thoughts about that again, but I will say this. It was my least favorite of the A stories introduced and it says something that I'm impatient for them to get back to it now when I've picked on them for going back to that well too soon. Just like with Bill's stroke, the recent Dani/Andre shenanigans is the perfect thing (and developing Hayley though it's clear she's just a spoiler for Dani/Bill and has been since Episode 3 at least) to keep the story relevant though I'm ready to get back to the baby lie part of the storyline.
  2. Amen. Very much what I said yesterday. And I agree. He either dies and gets the HEA with Brenda (after muuuuch begging). The reason the pier story isn't working for the most part...even though the idea of hitting Sonny where it hurts is sound...is that we have been there, done that. With better writing. OOooooo me likey. So see a twist on the trope of Sonny mentoring someone. Like I mentioned yesterday, that was Sonny's last chance to pivot. And it was well-done in taking him in a new direction at first. We even got to see what it would be like if when Brenda comes back to dominate story as a way for Sonny to still be on the canvas as a background purse holder to his wife's antics. Just with Nina in place of Brenda. Otherwise, the Meds story would be the last Sonny story. And we saw that was uprooted. Sonny has finally hit a story dead end and what to do, what to do when Maurice is not leaving while the other big two (Carly, Jason) are pivoting nicely into other directions?
  3. I agree. I love that the interaction between Hayley and Caroline have been increasing. And they are definitely going to establish what the connection between her and Randy is. Moreso now that Randy's other story (Doug) is gone. You're the second person to mention this. It is definitely a fascinating mix to watch. But I also do wish there was more of a Claire Labine influence. Also more of Guza's ability to do events. When the show first started, it felt like we got an event a week which allowed the show to build up to story beats as well as develop characters. It was while I was excited for the Articulate concert we got recently. Before that the last event was the anniversary party and that was TWO MONTHS before. Events give the show something to build toward whether it is a story turn or an old school climax and the show should get back to have more of them.

I think the same lick, lick, lick!!! Also same. I don't think anyone under the age of 21 (25 at the oldest) should be sagging. And that's just me being nice since sagging to me seem like a thing for kids in SCHOOL. Unless they are of course advertising...and they should OWN THAT. Most 'men' don't.
  5. RHOM A well-done finale. However, my system kept having technical difficulties so will be doing a rewatch once it loads properly. Adriana appeared to drop some interesting reunion tea on WWHL while Tamra and Andy had a little bout.

    Same. WOOF.
  7. LOL! I had to pick a little.
  8. Now she can lie in it. Again. hehe. I get you.
  9. To be fair, there was a period where Sonny was basically Nina's purse holder after Nixon Falls and they were together where we didn't see him much at all but as background and the occasional scene with Dante. So he has been supporting. So that too is a story that has been used and used up.
  10. I feel like once she gets over some of her grief, she will get a clue about Joey.
  11. I mean...it wouldn't be the first open marriage where someone flew off somewhere...with or without killing. So...
  12. HEY, MANCHESTER BLACK, HEY!!! LOL
  13. So much this. I love it...her disbelief resonated because I still don't believe it.
  14. So awesome. I didn't even get to finish before CBS immediately pulled it from streaming. I felt so angry and so invested. And just the fact that Amanda Warren was showing how versatile as an actress she was...her main character and her character of Camille were completely night and day. THAT'S acting.
  15. That's the main one that makes me twitch. God, no. On the one hand, the character is NOT needed. A hated character at that. On the other hand, RP trying to play someone else...I don't think he has the acting muscle for that.
  16. Hehe at the name. Exactly! That was such a well-done ending...and a sad one...for Doug. I would hate to see it undone.
  17. Just like the 'gift' of Nathan...hoping those rumors about who he is stay just that. Rumors.
  18. Ahhh, I was wondering if it was that show since so many new medical shows have sprung up since I paid any attention to new shows. lol. Thank you!
  19. Yeah, if I'm not mistaken Errol has mentioned that Guza's name should be leaving sooner rather than later with Thomson's name appearing. With the Doug/Vanessa/Joey storyline getting the spotlight, I definitely feel that was his story and it's about to climax/turn.
  20. To be on the safe side, @Broderick, you might need to spoiler tag that, but thank you for verifying what I've have long suspected. And given all the hints in the writing the last few weeks, I'm so excited. I also feel Doug is dead dead as well. I will gasped though if he pops up outside of a flashback.
  21. That's very interesting since CBS had Amanda Warren (playing against type at that as delicious diva Camille De Haan on the GOSSIP GIRL reboot)'s black law enforcement show EAST NEW YORK for one season.
  22. Yep. He has definitely arrived at a dead end. Again.
