  1. Yeah, I could see them going to DC to do some location shots/establishment shots. Perhaps like PASSIONS controversial location shots in London. So much this. There's nothing as soapy as the haves and have-nots.
  2. 9-20 Another week of 'throwing things at the wall to see if anything sticks.' Disappointing because it actually had potential to it with Sharon's storyline starting to head toward its turn/climax. So of course, JG immediately sidelined it at the start of the week. Thankfully...happy accident...the focus shifted to Victor and Lily for a day...and Victor doing what I wanted him to do and wiping the smug look off Billy's face by taking his client. I also enjoyed all of Lily's scheming, seeing her businesswoman in action. And her reading Giggly Heffa once she found out that Billy gave Phyllis HER job was hilarious to watch. She was READING. Oh, look Adam/Chelesa. FF. lol. But I see JG is going to try for this Adam/Chelesa/Billy triangle though so ugh. And then the Sharon storyline did return. But it's clear...JG is stalling. And it would be one thing if it felt like an organic stall. But...the stalling felt forced. Go ahead and let Sharon go try to kill Daniel. This hiding out when her family already know what's up just is not interesting regardless of SC starting to sell it and interesting camera angles from Cameron. Though it was nice to see Nick be Victor-like in terms of wearing normal clothes that looked like his own clothes.
  3. Cutting out an entire story? hmmmm And I was thinking that very thing when I was typing re: Aidan's story. What is going on over there? Cutting out an entire story? hmmmm And I was thinking that very thing when I was typing re: Aidan's story. What is going on over there?
  4. 9-24 Taylor is WHAT now??? Not dying. Not Taylor. I thought that was a nice Friday cliffhanger. And it does explain why she was hiding abroad. I loved that she confided in Li...which keeps Li in story. But I don't see how this won't turn into another spin on the Brooke/Ridge/Taylor merry-go-round. So did Bill and Poppy officially break up? Cuz that (very lovely) scene with all the Logan sisters sure made it seem like that was the case. I'm always here for getting Finn shirtless. That Tom Arnold appearance was a waste of airtime.
  5. And I expect them him to be good AF. And I expect them him to be good AF.
  6. And while there are possibilities to his return, I can't help, but think it would be to anchor Heather.
  7. I believe it. I will probably make time to watch the 15 minutes I missed this week if not all out rewatch. That was a GREAT ending.
  8. I agree. Especially with this (and Kristina getting a well-deserved slap).
  9. I didn't see anything so...I have to admit that I'm intrigued (though I liked the NBC SMG revival idea as well). And I loved former Queen Bee from nuGOSSIP GIRL found a new role...and the pictures of diversity. 'Cruel Intentions' exclusive first-look photos go inside Greek life (ew.com)
  10. My workout speaking...lol.
  11. Wait! They mentioned WHO today? Don't tell me they are on their way back?
  12. Good pits, sweaty hot pits.
  13. I agree. Or worse...cuts. Just watched Friday's and there was no Robert/Brennan in sight even though they are in the description for that day.
  14. Yeah. I agree. Like wasn't there one time where Anthony Geary was gone for months, but you would not notice it on screen story-wise because he pre-taped so much material? He was NEVER off screen. lol. Given we have not seen Laura or Kevin at all and now Lucky has been moved to a NEW location AND Jason and Anna have shown up...it is definitely fragmented. And don't even mention how stories would vanish and abruptly reappear...cuz I am not looking forward to seeing that again. Yet, here comes the Heather storyline which actually did vanish for a bit, the Joss/Kristina rivalry that Molly appears to be about to snatch up, and the Cody/Dante past mystery (since we can't have the Dante/Chase friendship anymore) that has drowned out at the Q mansion given it has not been touched on since that one stray scene he had with Sam years ago.
  15. OC I guess great minds think alike. lol. I know I've mentioned that I'm a season behind everyone else, but in between my work schedule, I have begun the Tamra Returns season!!! And so far, I'm enjoying it. OC has always been easy and breezy since you all got me into it on a regular basis. And three episodes into Season 17 so far...I feel the following... TAMRA. She's having a surprisingly good return season so far. Tamra ain't anything if she is not stirring the pot. Watching her try to start a feud/payback with Shannon has been hilarious so far because Shannon is not at all rising to the bait. And even Tamra trying to get backup in Frick and Frack Emily and Gina has backfired on her so far because Shannon has been playing her cards right, knowing that Tamra is coming for her for a storyline. Meanwhile, I have loved getting an update about her life with Cut closing, her mother being around, and Ryan going back to being fugly. She has good tension with both Emily and Heather in case she wants to start another feud when/if she gives up on Shannon. And also she brought us the new Housewife Jen into the mix where she already has drama in knowing the timeline of Jenn's divorce and new relationship with NewHottieRyan. HEATHER. So far, so rich. I admit that I was shocked to see Max filming since I vaguely remember post-Season 16, wasn't there stories about Max not wanting to film anymore with Heather due to how the audience felt about her story? That said...she's giving Rich Housewife and it looks like she is about to have some drama with Taylor from RHOBH. EMILY. So far, she's been surprisingly low-key. From what I remember, her and Gina were the MAIN pot-stirrers with Tamra gone. I suspect that is really why there is some undercurrent tension between her and Tamra. The HBIC is back, and Emily is just a pretender to the throne so she better tread lightly...especially if she has ANY secrets. Outside of that and some low-key pot stirring in this last episode...Emily's been boring even when she's showing her family. GINA. GIRL, BYE. lol. There is always one in every Housewife show. And for me (and I think you all know I was rooting for her after her glowup reunion look S15), I feel it's Gina. Just ugh. I can give her credit because outside of Tamra...she's been the REAL pot-stirrer so far. Befriending Jen only to get the tea on her. And now she saw that video and tried to start drama between Jen and Tamra. Even when Heather told her to drop it. And talking about Shannon behind her back? She is going to be messy. I can feel it. SHANNON. She has started off this season pretty decent. It is weird seeing her with John knowing what's coming. And her at the boat party interrupting Jen's story about her son....MESS!!!! Shannon is going to Shannon so it was great to see that no matter how much Tamra keeps trying to start for her, she's really kept herself out of the fray so now Tamra has no choice, but to take accountability if she wants to be friends with Shannon again. JEN. One thing that OC has done and does well is introducing new AND interesting housewives. And Jen is in that mode. Married under mysterious circumstances. A relatable story as a woman starting again. Not to mention the story about adopting. And so far...she has been transparent. And also? Not afraid to mix it up as soon as Gina threw that bombshell out at the Cut Close Party, Jen maneuvered very well through that. And it's clear there is still more to tell with Jen and Ryan so welcome, Jen. But that's what I think so far.
  16. Probably a result of how they film per what @titan1978 said about how out of order FV likes to film.
  17. Hehe. Not lackluster given how I hear they come for her again now that I'm watching Season 17 for the first time. I believe it. Shannon always is from what I've seen and read here on BOTH seasons. So far, I'm liking Jen so I believe it.
  18. Same. I got even more into the soaps due to Clarence in the car on my way to school. I still quote that scene between Nikki and Victoria over Cole on Y&R to this day. lol.
  19. 7-19 Lord have mercy this show. I actually found this week boring with bright moments. So much so I'm glad I came here to be sure of what I thought I saw going down was what I saw going down. And I'm talking about Heather's test results in that Ric/Liz (yay) scene. We are really going to throw Portia under the bus for Heather. I don't know what irk me more...the fact that Portia is justified in her feelings, and they would dare to make her look like the villain, or the vanishing of any nuance in that whole entire storyline to get back to that 'waca waca' slapsticky humor that the New/Old Writers love to use for their side-characters. And making it worse for me...it has FINALLY gotten back FV's quick-dash-repeat cut up of scenes. I know everyone has been mentioning it, but surprising, it has not been that apparent to me before now. Unless I was really that distracted...which I might have been. lol. I feel the highlight so far for me this week has been Molly. Seeing her in action. Seeing her involved. Seeing her vs Sonny. Molly? Little Molly? She's been going to bat for her mother as much as her mother should be going for her kids. I love every minute she goes off on Kristina. And are they now giving the Kristina/Joss rivalry to Molly in terms of Dex, too? Looks like the New/Old Writers know they found a gem in KV. I keep worrying that Alexis being framed by Sonny basically will result in her losing her license again. That was hard won and hard earned, so I hope that is not the case. And now her cellmate is HEATHER. Waca, waca!!! RME. And speaking of side-characters...Great to see Martin (though I think MEK is still using a bit of an accent...just not as thick) but not so much Cyrus though I did love his monologue surprisingly to Lulu. Since it's been established that he has been visiting her off-screen, it felt weird he was not back in town. And clearly this is going to be a set-up for conflict when Lulu wakes up. But like I said last week, all of the recurring side characters are back except for Ms. Wu and Mrs. O at this point...which are really the ones that I really want to see. Love the Stella/Trina scene. As someone in the industry, Stella's comments were completely on point. Us in the industry definitely try to have little industry treats/nights. And know the watering holes to go to for our kind. For me...this week was the first time Drew really seem creepy to me. But that might be now that I have his POV by his conversation with Curtis last week, he is coming across VERY un-Drew-like. And now Nina is about to shoot herself in the foot for him. It is walking the line now between a soapy mess and a ewwww mess. I actually liked the start of the Anna/Jason part of Lucky storyline. For one...LOOK AT ALL THOSE EXTRAS (and there were extras at Bobbie's, too). For two...at least Holly saw them, and they saw Holly. Quickly. Off the bat. So yay!! But I didn't find the dresses Holly and Anna had on very flattering and I'm used to them looking to the nines...like Holly's last adventure abroad to save Ethan. And the writing was so...well...waca waca slapsticky. Good coda though with Holly vs Anna. The real scene I wanted to see. And we know I'm here for Liz in the thick of things, but I was just shaking my head at her rejecting Ric. After all...and he said it I believe...the only lady in that town that knows what he's done and still treats him like a human being. Just le sigh. Fingers crossed for a Friday cliffhanger when I get there. Especially under this writing regime. There were so many POVs before and it could divide up the town. This? No. But just like I just said that Molly might be getting the rivalry with Joss that Kristina should have gotten over Dex, I feel like the umbrella tale that should have happened over Heather (with points of view from Laura, Portia, Trina, Liz, half the town) has now been given over to SONNY of all people by way of Wagger's death. And that story is not even being given multiple POVs and will still probably divide up some of the town...just not well half. lol.
  20. 9-17 So Billy won't give that second-in-command job to Chance who has no experience mind you, but he's willing to give it to Phyllis who has very little experience herself? Outside of running a hotel, she's IT heavy. Smh. Oh, well, it gives her something to do I guess. I admit that this episode went by fast. But that's because anything Adam/Chelesa/Connor or adjacent to them is officially back to getting the FF button from me. And I'm not against Billy with The Giggly Heffa only because I know Victor is going to stick it to him HARD. And I WANT to watch Victor humble his smug a$$. The only thing that interested me in this episode was seeing JG *cough*FINALLY*cough* start the Abby/Devon wedding build-up. And it was nice to see the comedy with them and Giggly Heffa. Cuz...Giggly Heffa. Fingers crossed that the story turn is coming in the Sharon storyline. Especially after the Sharon/Daniel scenes and the end coda. So...Sharon's about to go cray cray and try to off Daniel?
  21. Judging from everyone's reaction, I was afraid that I saw what I thought I saw. So ugh!! Heather ain't worth all. These New/Old Writers are so HEAVY on propping...something that's been gone for a good minute.
