I agree. Those were all good hooks with potential. It's a shame (outside of Diane now being a matriarch at the moment) that they been mostly wasted. Allie is gone when she should be around mixing it up with Audra or someone else or even a disagreement with Kyle that sparks a new family feud. Tucker is nowhere in sight. Just mentioned here and there. Stark is dead when he should have been in a scheme team with Giggly Heffa who he had chemistry with. Ashley...TBD. And IMHO, while the story was silly in parts, that was the most interesting Y&R has been with JG back writing. And even every story surrounding that period of time was energized as if JG finally got inspired to have a writing rhythm...not just over one story, but ALL of them.

I don't think it will be dropped completely. I think it WILL still be soapy...but not as scandalous as it would have been for me. It's gone from being completely invested and not sure what side you would be on to clear sides and none of them are pretty. Well tbf, while the points about the co-COS is a valid one (though Portia had a part in the potential Heather story under PM as more than the clear villain she is being painted as now), the head nurse was doing the elusive Liaison dance as well as being a mom to her sons who were being set up to have a Sins of the Father like storyline as Generation Next was taking shape. It was clear a hospital story was taking shape with the Heather storyline and that could have taken a better route than the one that it is under now with the New/Old Writers. And can we even pick on PM's route to get there to the hospital as a focus when the New/Old Writers just got there themselves after a sharp focus on the Mob again with the demise of Wagger? If anything, it appeared that PM was doing the same thing (except for him it was Pikeman specific), but alas we might never fully know?

Hehe. I continue to love how Mo is pulling a RHOA S11 on those tricks. I still wonder if she will factor in this current season given her shadow is still all over it.

Amen to that. I have liked for sure that them New/Old Writers have shifted from mob stuff with Wagger to hospital stuff with Heather (unfortunately), Lulu, Brad, injured folk. Yep, yep. If we can't have Zeke, we got another good one at least.

As a Liason fan, I *shivers* at the memories of those fanwars. It does not turn me off of them, but I can see why people might have a problem with liking either pair. 10-1 I don't see why Victoria was shocked that Victor already knew she tried to save Billy by buying him out. Since he clearly does not know who she is...I wonder what it is about then. Sharon kept Heather's phone??? GUUUUUUUUURLLL!!!! That said...I'm ready for Sharon to have a change of clothes. And I did like she took the meds in front of Nick and Mariah giving fuel to my theory. I've enjoyed Audra vs Kyle. Though I'm Team Audra. But that could be because throughout the last few episodes, the writers are making sure we see Audra's POV, and she's not wrong. Meanwhile, someone looked a little TOO happy in his pants during that intense rivalry scene. hehe.
