  1. For sure. But the fact he did it. It was so unexpected and done to get Jack's goat. My way of saying 'ooooo a nasty read.' I didn't hate it. Just surprised he did.
  2. 10-9 I have to give credit where credit is due. One of the things that I hated that was not followed up on was Anna slowly building a case against Sonny and using Molly to do it. So I love that plot thread was mentioned. It made it for sure clear that Anna was back to being a Sonny apologist (and FH looked pained to be saying that dialogue, probably thinking of Anna's declaration to take him down during PM's run) while KV shined as Molly took her to task. GO, MOLLY. I don't give Joss many things, but I loved her laying into Lucky. And EM was looking hot as sin. And hehe at Joss, Dex, and Molly in the same scene together knowing what is probably coming. Natalia/Sonny scenes are official on my FF/mute list. But I did stop to listen to Natalia/Kristina. It was nice to get a Blaze mention. Why am I starting to wonder if someone has already found the gun? Awww the Jason/Anna kiss. It seem that Anna is not interested and gets the ew factor cuz...Robin. But Jason surprisingly seem to feel a way. Though I hope that is the last of that. I actually liked the Jason/Lucky scenes given they are so much in the same boat with their kids. Speaking of...bad look for Lucky after those Aidan scenes. I did love seeing Felicia in action. But I was enjoying Carly with my man Beast. hehe. But me and Felicia know Carly ain't going to listen to her advice. And at last...LAURA.
  3. Same. Even when I was regularly viewing, I looked forward to a Nancy visit where we saw Joy.
  4. RHOP Well...Bravo apparently released Episode 3 early (apparently they did this with NY last week with an episode, too) and it is good to see that rumor about the ladies getting into it with Gizelle is true. Now I'm hearing it might be on tonight. A mess!!! But...good mess.
  5. 10-9 I KNOW VICTOR DIDN'T!!!! lol. I gasped at Victor walking up to Jack and throwing John Abbott in his face. Go right ahead and make Jack see red. Meanwhile, I'm not sure how I feel about seeing a rift appearing between Jack and Diane. It felt almost as jarring as when JG first started this stupid Kyle vs Diane storyline in the first place when Kyle was the one who wanted Diane to have the job in the first place. I did like the Michael/Diane scene. They really haven't touched on their friendship too much since Diane's resurrection so it was great to see. I am sad Christian shaved his beard though. It was great to have Traci and Alan back in town. But don't tell me that foreshadowing a Traci/Alan/Sharon storyline once the mess with Sharon is over? Or perhaps Alan will be the one to figure out exactly what the issue with Sharon will be? Because I can't say it enough...I LOVE seeing Chance back in cop mode. It just feels sooo RIGHT. Heather's murder continues to get good performances out of MG, LB, and SC. Though there was a slight drag on the framing up. I also enjoyed the Sally/Audra scene.
  6. Even this year, didn't Steve Burton get a little effort for his return. Meanwhile, was there even an official JJ Lucky is back promo? God, I miss SoapNet. If there was something I missed or the VCR couldnt' record, it was there for me. And it got me into so many other soaps. It so was. I loved that. Yeah, dialogue like that. BITD they would incorporate it into the storyline and everything. I mean that just makes me think of the Nurse Ball actually.
  7. Nor should you. I remember when US soaps used to do this, and it was how so many people learned about social issues when I was growing up. And even now when soaps over the last decade have done an issue, the soap critics and fans will point out when someone clearly did the research and who did not. So it still has an impact if done right. Sad US soaps can't (or should I say won't) do that. Meanwhile, looking at what you said about English soaps, I can't help but think that US soaps are sitting on a goldmine if they would still do the same. Heck, FV is all about exposure and product placement and yet won't do anything possible for ratings?? HIM??
  8. 10-8 Well, I say this much...he might have been a lame hehe wingman, but I enjoyed the little misadventure of Liam and Will and the Forrester interns. The fact that they already know who Will is cuz he's cute has been a hoot. And I already see a vibe with him and Amy. Liking the actress and I can see the two of them together. And yes, Liam was so lame to do the baby pictures. Just such a parent. Resonated though. And now he's back to thinking on Hope. And speaking of Hope...uh...I don't know what to think of THAT? I guess the idea of Carter and Hope is just odd because even the build-up has been odd to me. So it just doesn't feel organic. I'm always here for Sinn flashbacks. That said...seeing Sheila reminded me that nothing be going on that keeps my interest on this show. So worrying a bit. Perhaps I can get another round of Sheila vs Li.
  9. I agree. I love that Laura's kids are coming home one by one. I am very worried about the 'how' now that Lucky is not a donor for her, but I am looking forward to Lulu waking up.
  10. Lol. Yeah, I'm been enjoying this week so far. It makes me wonder if there is a twist on Friday coming. And I loved the Ashley mention with fingers cross ED is about to grace my screen again. She really is!!!! I just saw the scene of her in the call yesterday and went hmmmm. I see they are playing with my theory again so I again am intrigued. I just wish it had a...more flow?...to it. Like when Ashley and her alters started...it became clear slowly, but gradually in such an organic way. Almost like JG knew what he was doing. Heck, how ED played it made it clear long before it was clear on screen which was like a cherry on top. This storyline has been more zig-zag and it can be frustrating. I at least am happy that now that we are in the thick of it that SC is stepping up.
  11. Yeah, I still can't decide if they even have chemistry yet because they are just so different. To my knowledge yes, they do have VH on contract so I do wonder what the story will be going forward.
  12. From what I've seen, it was part of the reason people took to BM when he was John Doe who was revealed to be Jason. Because as Jason BMJason did all the things that fans wanted Jason to do. He ditched Sonny and Carly. He finally embraced Monica and his Q ties. He got out of the business and started a business and a life with Sam. He was legit. Alas, but SB had to come back. Yeah, I've been liking the last few episodes I've seen, but I can't help but feel the same way to an extent. Especially about Jason who appears to be just standing there, blowing in the wind. All of that great set-up...giving fans some of what they been talking about with Jason FOR YEARS...only to abruptly have Jason/Sonny reconcile off-screen and back to normal on a Monday. I definitely think there would have been redemption for Sonny because there always is. I'm just not sure Ava would have been dead given she only knew of the messing with the meds and was not the one who really did it which was Valentin. But I was hoping they would let her be the femme fatale gray villainess going forward. But I guess soaps can't write for that anymore. I was hoping that the whole storyline was a way to not redeem Heather completely, but allow her to stay on the canvas IF they must have her as a more gray, maybe cunning character so they had a villain if they needed one. Because Heather had been nothing, but a 'wacka wacka funny look at me' character for far too long under this regime. Or that was the impression I got when PM was working with story. While Portia verbally objected, Laura had all kinds of pushback from just about everyone she talked to when she brought up Heather. And we saw her conflict on her face every time she talked to Heather. It just felt like it would have been expanded on if it had originally been dealt with then rather than what we are getting now. So I definitely feel it was a victim of the BTS drama...which I also feel Jason's return was a victim given the set-up. I would agree about Liz's kids, but again, the next generation were finally starting to get used back in March. So much that there might have been more substance to what's going on now...if Lucky's return was planned all along before PM's departure. But that's just me grasping at straws. All I wanted when he was announced as a writer and Laura became central for a minute was for her children to return...which is finally happening.
  13. I liked all this tea. It takes me back to when I was a ticket seller at a (now-gone) jazz supper club. I had no idea she was connected to him. I kindly disagree. Because while the Heather storyline was going on, there was plenty of nuances going on with it and it felt like all sides were being explored through Laura even though it was a horrible position to put the character of Laura in. And it had the potential of being a classic umbrella tale that really could have divided the town given who Heather had hurt vs those people who believe in second chances before these New/Old Writers decided to go and keep it as one person's vendetta (Portia) for someone as if she was a crazy woman when her daughter was the victim. Even Sonny's slow descent into madness had the potential for substance to it. It's just a shame MB becked at going there. So I feel there more than likely would have been layers to Lucky's return even with the same plot points. Because he's been gone for so long, why not play that time away, too? LMAO
  14. FIXED. But I love ALL of this. There is so much potential in that. And if we HAVE to have the mob, it gives it fresh colors. Amen. Lol. EXACTLY. I know quite a few people from Boston so I know that accent gets THHHICK when they get angry.
  15. Well, that sounds just about right. I know when I get heated, my accent pops back out. And when I get REALLY angry, my Cali accent (and DUDE) pops out of my mouth.
  16. And something else to think...if I remember correctly, the reason that Scott was let go from DAYS so they could have another round of Dena Higley was that he was interfering with the writing allegedly with someone who sounded like Alison Sweeney...not that I remember if that last part was ever proven. Whom is to say that Scott won't do the same with JG. Speaking of... Same. It's part of the reason that I'm excited. Y&R has had that history of doing that. And when it's someone that has been from old school Y&R, it definitely has winded up being a case of 'when there's smoke...' So...even more excited. Or cautiously optimistic. It just feels to me that the creation and slow arrival of BTG might have woken up someone at CBS to look at their other soaps. But that might be me being too hopeful. And then budget cuts at B&B after all this time? Things to make you go hmmm. But I know when the BTG thread started I gave my theory on that...so I won't repeat that here.
  17. SLC Oooooo!!! lol. I hope when we get to the rumored fight between Lisa and Mary later in the season having to do with kids that people remember what Lisa said in this episode. BITCH. Yeah, the episode was great (other than the lack of taglines though that alternative opening was cute. For an episode.), but the highlight was the group event at Harley Davidson. The issues between Lisa and Angie K exploded. While that needed to get out, it should have been done at a one-on-one sit-down. So thank you, Meredith for deflecting onto Lisa in order to avoid fighting with Little Girl in her feud to focus Lisa on her and Angie K. Meanwhile, FriendofHeather got into it with New Housewife. And...I would say a tie actually. lol. Though I died when Bob said to FriendofHeather 'Guuurl, how you going to tell me to worry about my marriage when you don't even know my husband's name.' Just DEAD. The local trip has honestly been pretty good. If I was bugged by anything, it was the fact that Heather (and Meredith to a lesser degree) have been stirring the pot and trying to kill the vibe of fun. Yes, it gives juicy moments that I love, but it just feels performative. It has been bad enough that Heather has grown too grown for her breeches, but Lisa has, too. Allowing herself to get gassed up...but too much of a coward to confront a Housewife unless it was with an audience. And again, I did not at all like how she brought the kids into it with Angie K. Low blow. Thankfully, the episode even on a cute note. New Housewife in a high fashion hot dog suit (c) LeeAnne Locken and the ladies at a gay club with everyone cheering Mary!!! Love to see it!!! HEATHER. You know how much I didn't like her last week. Well, I liked her even less this week. How could you get the lessons RHOP Gizelle gave you and not know how to do it in a way that isn't transparent? She knew her cousin was excited for the club and taking the ladies to Harley Davidson, and still tried to stir the pot with her and Meredith. Did she not just say in her Confessional about how 'how could I do this to my cousin when she's soooo happy.' GIRL, BYE. And we know I'm not here for her cutesy Greek choir moments so moving on... MEREDITH. hehe. I see you. Other people said it online. And I've said it a few times here. Meredith has always been best when she's on the offense versus doing defense. That was the case here. She's been working to make this silly feud with Little Girl happen, but it has fallen flat. But her going to Lisa to tell her about last episode when Little Girl and Angie K were talking about her and then at the dinner with the sly deflect...well-done. Lisa overreacted almost instantly, and Meredith was left off the hook in her confrontation with Little Girl. I also liked that when Lisa was being cold to her, Little Girl figured out it was Meredith's fault, and Meredith OWNED IT. Her close friend could learn a thing or two rather than come for kids. LITTLE GIRL. I'm shocked to say it, but this is the most I've liked Little Girl since Season 1. I'm actually shocked. And it felt like such a full circle moment to see her and Mary back in each other's good graces which they also haven't been since Season 1 when they were the outsiders of this group. Just WOW. I liked she stood her ground a little bit. I also liked how she was determined to not have the vibe killed. MARY. 'it's a straightening comb. it's for black girls.' MARYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol. She was still a hoot this episode. And she wasn't doing anything major except being herself. Her and Angie K being a ki. Her getting along with Little Girl. Her, the bartenders, and her telling stories about her father. Her at the gay club. Her disdain for FriendofHeather. God bless Mary. NEW HOUSEWIFE AKA BOB. OMG!!!! THE HOT DOG COTURE!!! I CAN'T!! LOL!! She was hilarious this episode. And while I have a little more respect for FriendofHeather for coming for her and her husband, Bob still chewed her up and spit her out. And her Confessional about Lisa picking up random people in the hall to hang with rather than hang with the ladies was hilarious. ANGIE K. YASSSSSSSSSSSSS, GIRL!!!! I still wish she had taken Lisa aside, because she was expressing how she felt, I LOVE she spoke nothing, but the truth. Everyone is used to Angie K being a lapdog. First to Jen. And then to Lisa. Now that she was trying to stand on her own, Lisa has a problem. And this was a continuation of their talk a few episodes ago when Angie told her that she did not like to be called out and always overreacts. And when Lisa brought her kid into it though, she was right to call her a BITCH. And I LOVED her overtalking that overtalker. Cuz I don't know who Lisa thinks she is, but Jen Shah AND Nene Leakes she ain't. LISA. BITCH. I guess I'm gotten too used to caring about kids at my old age, but I did not like she did that low blow to her friend. And THAT'S the thing...Lisa was NOT wrong for her issue with Angie K, either. Angie K did stir the pot by telling Little Girl in the season opener what Lisa said. So yes, Lisa should feel a way. But her going over the top AND the low blow took away from her from being in the right completely. And her not confronting Little Girl immediately after Meredith told her what was said about her only showed she was a weak bitch. Sad since she continued to claim to be HBIC. And no one who claimed to be strong enough to be Vicious Bitch (c) Cordelia Chase would be doing passive aggressive moves on people talking about them. They would be upfront. She came across as pathetic to me. Again, great episode. Can't wait to see where all this mess goes.
  18. Oh, Lord...don't tell me Ashley is going to be the drama at the forthcoming Devon/Abby wedding...
  19. So there is hope. Good. I've over that storyline for sure. Lois was fine as is.
