And why I'm thinking about it... ...FINN GETS OUT OF REHAB IN ONE MONTH??? That's a hire I wouldn't mind at all actually. I liked her as Cara if she can't be Sam. And that's the one thing I don't like about how this is snowballing into an umbrella tale versus the potential one we could have had a few months back. Unless Sonny is going to have a crisis of conscience or it leads him off in an interesting direction, this is all pointless.

9-13 Yeeeah execution. That whole week felt like one of those bad weeks under the New/Old Writers. But again...it was about FV style. The quick flash. Smh. And I just find that sad because there is also something different going on that I place squarely on the new hires which is probably why it's keeping my interest. I mentioned under the PM thread that there was so much potential to Anna/Laura vs Sonny because given the history of all the characters, the storyline would be ripe for conflict and a town divided. An umbrella story if you will. So it's funny watching this Sonny Kills Wagger storyline play out because the more it does, the more of an umbrella tale it has turned into. And while I think we all are 100 % against Sonny in this, it IS dividing the town as much as Anna/Laura vs Sonny would have. Those Diane vs Sonny scenes? Unexpected given Diane's M.O., but also expected because Diane has a history of going to bat for her BFF. Also she KNOWS he did it. Tracy already saying Sonny did it!!! And if we were under PM, I feel like more people would listen to her. Under the New/Old Writers, it seems we are back to Grumpy Ole Tracy...no nuances. Just a plot device. And now they are going to throw her in a juvenile blocker between Sasha and Cody...who after 50 years and me having a baby...finally are official?? Given Tracy's history, there's so much more she could be doing on the current canvas. So this is just ridiculous. That said...I did like how the New/Old Writers used Tracy to start Chase/BLQ off into their own potential new storyline. A talk about if they want kids. Mind you, the last thing this show needs is another baby storyline so I RME cuz FV and ABC being okay okay-ing baby stories came to mind at the same time. And ugh now anytime I see Anna playing juvenile scenes with my Beast. Just as annoying now as how I feel anytime Kristina walks back on my scene. And if she calls that baby Adela one more time... I see good there...cuz that Mac arresting Alexis scene was a good cliffhanger...but the execution is just lacking for me. And time for Lucky to come home.

I don't know about that. lol. But we'll see.

Now all we are missing is Orbecht. Since all the supporting/side characters have now come back with the New/Old Writers in charge. That said...I hope this leads to more story for both Laura and Lucy.

9-10 'Danny didn't want you. Nick didn't want you.' Oooooooooooo SHADE!!!! lol. Even if it's because she's off her meds, it was great to see Sharon on a rampage. First, Lucy and Daniel. Then sending Heather running for the hill. And now Giggly Heffa. lmao. And Giggly Heffa, of all people, calling anyone crazy. Whatever hoe. And what is making it funny is that Sharon isn't wrong about Lucy, either. Since this Faith/Lucy storyline has started and progressed, it really has been giving SINGLE WHITE FEMALE. So the detour with Cassieque accident was a decent way to end that. But Lucy seems more obsessed with Faith than ever. Perhaps we are going to get that after all. I couldn't care less about Connor's issues since it's more about Chelesa. That said...I loved seeing Mariah and that green suit she had on. Same for what Sally was wearing. Sharon. I even loved Phyllis's outfit.

Yes, I don't know what's going on, but she got my attention. Spill that tea.

9-10 Awww...not we are back to slow episodes. That was a fun week. lol. That said...I actually enjoyed watching the fallout from the Luna/murder storyline. It's good there was a moment where RJ was allowed to process his girlfriend is a killer and that Zende did nothing. Meanwhile, the shifting from that story to a Katie/Bill/Poppy triangle continues. I look forward to see how Bill/Poppy navigate it all. Especially with Will and Katie in the wings. Hope needs to let it go. NuTaylor. Meh.

9-11 I admit I rolled my eyes at the idea of Doctor Foine and Jordan. Doctor definitely sold his side of instant attraction when he laid eyes on Jordan. But this episode with him and Jordan actually talking...yeeeeeah I see a little spark. And I liked their banter. Jordan came alive just a little bit. I don't think I will never not like a Ric/Molly scene. I continue to enjoy his return to the canvas. He just fits in so seamlessly. And now he's going to be Ava's lawyer. Hmm. While I continue to love my Beast with Carly, I am also still ughing at the New/Old Writers wasting the chemistry I saw with Anna and Brennan under PM. I know he's dazzled by Carly, but Brennan was also fascinated with Anna. And those nuances still being intact would make this all so juicy.

RHoDubai My turn!!! lol. And surprisingly...I feel different. But I love you anyway. I definitely thought it was a solid Part 1. The girls came to play. And the Lesa/Brooks alliance...I love both, but let's call a spade a spade...was solid and honestly my favorite part of the reunion. I was sad that it's clear the Lesa/Brooks/Sara trio I loved during the season was clearly over. It even looked like the Brooks/Sara duo was over...there was just such a vibe from Sara of trying to balancing being Everyone's Friend. Made me think of Saba. And while I love the Lesa/Brooks alliance and Lesa is an intelligent woman, Lesa better tread carefully. Brooks is a Chaos agent on the show for a reason. What really irked my soul though was 1) WHO INVITED TERRI DEMARCO TO THE REUNION??? WHAT IN THE WORLD?? Oh...I mean...Taleen. lol. Because she was butting in all over the place. Like the aforementioned gnat from that HW show (or two) that takes place in Cali. So I enjoyed every moment Lesa treated her like Little Girl to her Mary and shaded her. And 2)WHERE IS THE AYAN I USED TO KNOW? Because the girl that was on screen WAS playing victim all over the place rather than being a fierce bitca. She was being such a Pick-Me. *cough*secondseasoncurse*cough* STANBURY. What surprised me was that she got off easy. The only thing that I came away from Part 1 with her was...as expected...she spoke out on the Michael tea that Ayan/Brooks brought up on camera. Other than that, she was just laidback. But again...she had plenty of minions other castmates fighting any battle she would need to. TALEEN. TERRI DEMARCO. I'm sorry, no. She was interjecting, interrupting, being loud and wrong all episode for me. So I loved Lesa and Brooks whacking her over and over again. Cuz Taleen Terri was giving micro-aggressions and I was not here for it. Especially the 'are you going to cry?' exchange. While the season was filmed two years back, there's been too many instances (the discourse around RHOP's latest season comes to mind) why she should not have done that. I will give her this one though...I liked that she apologized to Brooks for her WWHL antic...a sign of the friendship they had. Or have given Brooks's online apology to her for Rafi's sake. BROOKS. Not Production bringing up the online antics!!! lol. Brooks has always been a diva so she did not at all bug me. It was surprising that she was over there telling Taleen Terri to shut up as much as I was. In fact, she might have been exaggerating for the most part, but rollback showed that Brooks would be having nuggets of truth about her. I also thought it was interesting near the end of the episode when Andy was discussing the Brooks/Taleen friendship that there was one point where EVERYONE side-eyed Taleen Terri, NOT Brooks. I also aha at more information on the Rafi/Brooks friendship. I thought it said something that Rafi and Brooks have a longer friendship than she has with Taleen Terri. And with her online apology, I feel that friendship is more in play than her own friendship with Taleen. Things that made me go hmmm. SARA. Outside of her riding the fences between the factions, I didn't mind her much. She was the only one that got to the meat of results of Beyoncegate. LESA. No notes from me. I would call her the MVP along with Brooks for me because their ability to keep whacking Taleen Terri was unmatched. And her and Ayan fighting was very how I expect former BFFs to fight. And it said something to me that the hatred/jealousy vibrated off everyone when she walked onto the stage...even from Stansbury. She knew they were coming for her...and she was READY. From her producing that receipt on Ayan (meaning she was right and backed by Andy) to her calling Ayan out on being a professional victim (and also being VERY clear that she meant Ayan's behavior on the show not a victim in terms of the backlash Ayan received post-Season 1 for telling her story), Lesa handled herself well. If anything she could have gone harder. So far...she has not. So I felt the Ayan/Lesa friendship is still in play. AYAN. Over there on that couch and being obtuse...NO MA'AM. Is victim a trigger word? I am sure it is. But the fact that Lesa explained her words clearly and Ayan still wanted to be willfully obtuse...I just couldn't get with that. And I just continued to be so surprised at how much of a fall from grace I have with her after a great Season 1. I was right there with Brooks. Ayan was doing too much. But...blood in the water. Well onto Part 2 where we see if Ayan truly is about to be unmasked...

You're not alone on being mixed on Nate/Audra. It's funny since that was who she wanted to shag when she came to town. And now she got him. lol. I liked that they see each other. But Audra has Sally for those friendship moments...well if they would allow Sally out of Billy's orbit. But I'm open to them. They could be a scheme team themselves. But I also loved Audra like how you mentioned, manipulating all them bois and men. Yeah, I have enjoyed very much seeing more of CF and Chance. But outside of Pandemic Chance, I've enjoyed all the actors who have played Chance. And as a Chancellor, I just feel there should be so much for him to do. IKR. Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't JG always writing some form of murder mysteries when he wrote for other soaps or was that just in his partnerships with Michael Malone who definitely leaned in that direction?

THIS. When I heard what he did on their last return, I see why the fans were LIVID cuz WTF. lol. Getting news like this...I think I will try to see about tuning in more often.
