  1. I picked up on that too. Already setting up a future Nicole storyline?
  2. I agree with that. I didn't care for the plasma ring storyline at all until that Friday cliffhanger. It was something happening as well as last few weeks doing a decent job of getting that story to finally move somewhat. Like I said last year, they really need to decide on what should be the main story of the week if it is not an A story and have other B/C stories around that story of the week. Or do an event every other week to keep momentum going. That was what made those first couple of months sing. I know I'm in the minority when it comes to Kat (who is more a diva princess than a spoiled brat to me), but all I saw with Deanna so far is a young Dru.
  3. 3-3 Remember when I said I was circle back around to all the hot men and bubbles on display on Tuesday. lol. Yeah, I started my rewatch yesterday. Not that most weeks aren't great. But I must admit the week before barely got a rewatch out of me. I'm just over Cartoon Leslie who took up most of that week. This past week really went off on a good start for me. It looks like they are trying to develop their B plots more. Some work better than others. And I really feel (we'll see if I feel the same this week) that the writers are going to do what they did last year where now until May was in hindsight...and I enjoyed it mind you...it was a lot of table setting for the anniversary party episodes. Mileage varied on that. On one hand, several stories got developed during that time period. And it helped there were enough events going on and story progression that it was fine. Or they focused on their solid B plot (which last year it was Doug/Joey/Vanessa with a side of Martin's Secret with also June's storyline). On the other hand, they really IMHO had only one solid B plot that could carry and IMHO did...namely Doug/Joey/Vanessa. They were smart to have other stories around that since they were holding off on their better stories. And this year seems like that is going to be the same. So hopefully it will be better written if they are going to use that strategy again this year. Right now, the most developed of the B plots is the cotillion and we all know the tea on that. Hayley and the walls closing in is also currently in the place of where Doug/Joey/Vanessa was at...in that it started kinda disjointed, but it actually appears to be building to Tomas's exit storyline something. And it can DEFINITELY hold a week together. That said...what I love so far this particular week... MONICA. I loved how they did her. Not only is she a mentor to Smitty and has interacted with Naomi to keep her secret afloat, but she's Shanice's aunt, too, and she was giving sooooo much Mama Joyce to Ted that I did holler. Which Todd...Ted...you get it...if you know, you know. I can't believe to talk about how much I love that Shanice has family around. AND hints of other family members, too. That said...More of her please. CARLTON VS KIAL. We all know I'm here for Nicole having a storyline. But you also know I enjoyed her men getting into it. Openly at that. Cuz Chase vs Michael on GH can't have all the fun. lol. Both foine. Both bubbled. And I loved their verbal catfight on the unseen (ugh) basketball court. And like we discussed earlier...Kial clocking Carlton's personality (and Carlton clocking Kial) along with the episode with Carlton going off on Shanice is foreshadowing. I would like to add him just explaining how he's been waiting forever for Nicole. Uh oh. NOW...KRISTEN DIMERA. Speaking of Hayley, I continue to love how people are slowing putting the screws to her. First it was Lynette the week before and now it's Joey with what he knows about Sammy. Just like a good soap villainess. And Tomas has already been sniffing around for weeks. And Bill is slowly getting a clue, too? What will she do next really has me intrigued. Who is going to figure her out first? That's what I've coming away with so far from last week.
  4. Now given all I just said...I do agree. I have gotten used to Chris's version of the character, but his days were numbered from the moment the Alias storyline with Joss started. And with the entrance of Random WSB Guy this fate was sealed.
  5. Yes. lol. But it was greatly based on my love for Mesure who was hot AF in the V reboot and giving one of the best introductions of a villain...the main villain at that...on the sci-fi show THE MAGICIANS. And he played Brennan so well with both Carly and Anna. And under PM, I expected that to go in a much better direction. Especially with Anna who he was fond of first.
  6. LOL. Exactly! You had me laughing before my first cup of coffee when I saw that this morning. Cuz you know how much I looooove that character sarcasm It came across as light funny shade that I just had to poke fun at it. But I should have used the quotation marks when I thought to do so.
  7. IKR. I was so excited when we got those scenes. And then Eric over at Bill's office..I was like...oh, wait! What if...but...NOPE. I believe I went off about it at the time, too. lol. I was so livid.
  8. One thing I can say...Zimmerman is especially good at episodes that flow and they usually have given her the episodes that tie multiple story threads together. So if something has not made sense, it's usually one of her episodes that clear it up. And when they put her on back-to-back episodes...simpatico. I do believe it was her that was in charge of May's anniversary party if I'm not mistaken.
  9. Lol. I poke fun at her constantly so I feel that. While yes it does line up with Michael's history, Michael really should be with someone better (and stronger acting-wise).
  10. Ugh. That would have been good. But I was really hoping it would be Deke as the designer with Eric as a Mentor in a fashion showdown with Forrester. It would have been just as juicy once Ridge and Brooke found out.
  11. Very hard to process indeed.
  12. Amen. I also agree. The real test will be when it's competing against its viewership from the year before.
  13. Same. I just hope he does not mess it up.
  14. Same. Also same. They have been taking forever with the specifics on this particular storyline, but that Friday cliffhanger definitely have me hoping we get movement finally and also wondering what will happen next.
  15. Yep. Pretty much. Which is why it's shocking how the last month or so has been so enjoyable.
  16. And together they were a crazy kinda of twisted AF love. Played by superb actors. Yep. Pretty much. hehe. I agree. Or at the least have Drew go back to being nice in public, but still scheming BTS. But I suspect once he can move again, he will be on the road to semi-redemption. I blame that firmly on the writing cuz she was the spitfire Lulu should be when she first started airing. And even when she grew annoying.
  17. So basically I should have done what I started to do...since I was poking fun at the light shade @carolineg was giving out to that character we all know I don't like for Michael...and put Hooker in quotation marks. Since I was joking. ;) Noted.
  18. Just shivers. lol. That's how I feel thinking about it.
  19. Honestly, they have enough chemistry that I expect that the writers will take advantage of that in some way. At least hate sex. I do feel like they will circle back to Chase/Willow/Michael in some form which will be interesting given how they have changed since that triangle happened. Michael deserves more than the Hooker.
  20. 3-4 Yay! We made it back around to Taylor/Deacon/Sheila! At last! But first...something trivial...why get rid of the stubble, Deke? Le sigh. But I enjoy that so far this week Taylor/Deacon/Sheila has been the focus. And it feels like there's movement going on. Deacon/Taylor growing closer. Deacon having sex with Sheila, but thinking of Taylor. Sheila and misdirection on Taylor. More, please. And YES...as much as I don't like the 'kids' sitting around talking about their parents' love lives...Steffy was not at all wrong. Hope and Deke are playing with fire. So was that Will/Dylan kiss real? Cuz she's coming across like a vixen now. And I kept watching their scenes and thought about how what Ivy did is causing all this drama.
  21. Thank you for reminding me that I still need to watch. And great to hear your opinion on it.
  22. Facts. Old Jason would have killed him by now for trying to kill him and Anna. But I wouldn't give this maturity in Jason back for anything in the world.
  23. Funnily enough given that Rory plays a darker Michael, I don't see him and Willow as THAT kind of disfunctional. At least not yet. But totally in time. Right now, I see it more with Drew and her easily. But Cameron plays his 'love' more as an obsession which is why I see them more like Michael and Kimberly than I feel Michael and Willow do right now. I do love that Asher is getting a bit of his due though from our days of discussing his acting abilities.
