It's a very easy concept to recreate with 3 new couples. It's seriously the most boring of the 3 specials, but generic enough to use a similar plot. I think you could use inspiration to tie it in with JJ/Gabi, Belle/EJ, and Shawn/Jada, but then it would have absolutely nothing to do with Stephanie so it would be odd she wrote it lol. Kayla and Shane weren't in One Stormy Night. Marcus was. This video contains the opening credits for the movie.

I have a hard time imagining JPL with CJ. Their acting styles are so different. I actually think LG and JPL have more chemistry together and could see Phillip/Sarah. I know, I know. That's an awful idea lol.

Correct. At least they aren't recreating "Night Sins". We'd end up with Alex and Gabi or some odd couple recreating John/Marlena's conference table sex. 😂

Possibly. I remember the "movie" being Jack/Jen, Bo/Carly, and John/Isabella centric. I am assuming they are just recreating the idea of people/couples being brought together in a storm, which isn't very creative in the first place. One Stormy Night was the worst of the 3 primetime movies too. Lol. Fair. Writing some press releases for her the two clients she has does not mean she can write what looked to be a 500 page novel. Stephanie spends 20 hours a day figuring out her love life anyway.

Stephanie writing a novel is odd. She's never seemed interested in writing or much of a creative type. Is One Stormy Night a nod to the primetime Days episode from the early 90's? That would literally have nothing to do with Stephanie, nor were any of the characters featured in that special closely related to her IIRC. Although One Stormy Night isn't a super creative title or anything, so it's probably just a coincidence. And, yes, it was very rude for Alex to just take Stephanie's personal, private writing without asking lol.

Elvis John was his original name IIRC correctly. Susan named him Elvis, but also named him after John Black after she got her baby back from Kristen. I have seen other sites list him as Elvis Aaron though. I am also pretty sure Susan always called him Elvis Jr. regardless of middle name so EJ makes sense either way.

I don't think a Victor Kiriakis Charitable Trust is as bad as the Sonny Corinthos Stone Cates Charitable Trust that funds most of Port Charles lol I totally had a mind lapse when I said Maggie Horton. That's just what I think of her as. She definitely uses Kiriakis as a last name.

Oh, I was assuming it was either a check via her trust from Victor or a cashier's check. Not Maggie Horton's personal check lol. Honestly up until I bought my house a couple of years ago I paid rent with a personal check because they charged me when I used my debit card lol. Anyhow, just a reasonable excuse for Maggie to go talk to Julie at the hospital. I don't use checks often, but I still have them just in case. I recently got my passport renewed and you can buy a money order or write a check so the government still allows it lol.

No, she said she wanted Phillip to be gone when she got back. I doubt Maggie's staff wants to help Phillip at this point. I don't really know how million dollar donations work, but I don't think writing a check is that weird? Maybe I am old school like Maggie too? lol

If I had to guess after today it looks like Ari might soon pop up in the teen group in Salem. She's graduating high school now? She'd be the same age as Holly, Sophia, and Tate. I am predicting the show will ditch Sophia and add Ari instead. But I don't read spoilers.

You 100% called it. I thought the show might try to differentiate them a bit. But, no, it's almost the exact same plotting and we didn't even get a breather in between the two. Sidwell is just more suave and richer and supports the LGBTQ community.

It's odd though because Sidwell seems to be Sonny's current direct rival, so they are just two misunderstood criminals fighting for the greater good or something lol It seems like the show is trying to make Natalia look worse somehow. We don't really need more reason to dislike Natalia and nothing is going to make me like Sidwell.

I feel like Drew is definitely a Republican lol. The show seems to want us to think Sidwell is this classy, cultured, open-minded man when I don't care. He's still an international supervillain and evil guy. Last time I checked Natalia was a horrible personal not an actual criminal. I am glad Sidwell supports his son's choices, but I don't know why the show is spinning him as a person with a good heart or whatever they are doing here.

It was funny. Kayla's excuse was that they ran out of time, so the auction had to move online. Yeah, because Kayla left the auction for half the day to run around town lol.

I agree with this 100%. Obviously, I am no expert on this kind of thing, but I do think if MB felt he was allowed to take a break and still be viable and popular he might do it. He's clearly very friendly and comfortable with Vanessa and knows that's the pairing he needs. He might relax more if she took on a more frontburner role knowing he would still be relevant if he took a bit of time off.

Carrie and Austin are still together Allie stayed in New Zealand with her new boyfriend and Henry when Will/Sonny went back to Arizona Andrew and Paul are not married Bo would at least know about Tate in theory because Bo "died" the first time after Tate was born. Bo wouldn't know Claire was in South Africa, but Olivia Rose Keegan joined the show before Bo died so he would know she was SORAS'd at least.

Agreed. Max Gail did a great job with his material although the story went on too long. I know Ron Hale retired, but the relationship was never the same for me after he left. I can't really pinpoint why it felt different to me.

Agreed. The whole Sonny sees Mike in Heaven was a time waster. The shootout was so silly. And honestly, no viewer is concerned Sonny will die. The rest of the show wasn't bad. Obviously, I could do without the Special Agent Joss thing, but that wasn't a huge part of today.

I tried to give Rachel Boyd a chance. I really liked Sophia/Madelyn. NuSophia is horrible. Perhaps she'll grow into the role, but any fire or spark Sophia had is gone. This version of Sophia seems so meek and timid. Her and Leo Howard have no chemistry either. I think if Javi is intended to be long term the show needs to give him interests, friends, and integrate him into the canvas. Javi certainly appears to hate being Gabi's assistant and he seems to like cooking so that would be an option for him. I don't know why Chanel has no friends lol. It would be very easy for her to be friends with Gabi or Cat. They all lived in the Dimera mansion together I believe.
