  1. Max's dad was Trent. Melanie's "dad" for a while too. Benjy was deaf. You have to remember that lol. Tyler Pocket does deserve justice though.
  2. I think it's a writing vs. talent thing with Kerr. I can see how some people view her line delivery as verging on bored sometimes. I just don't think Portia/Brook has ever gotten a story that truly showcased her and her talents. Most of the time she is apologizing for lying or making a mistake. I really don't get how this is Gio's fault or why Lois was there at all lol. Is anyone going to find out Joss knew Danny was there and ignored it entirely?
  3. I mentioned that last week and I am glad Tate and Sophia just realized that today lol. I think the show is just tying up some of Ron's loose ends. You would think Brady, Holly or even Marlena would have perhaps pointed out the age thing to Tate at some point. I am not sure I like this shift in Sophia's characterization though. MK played Sophia as someone who always defied her mom's rules-she just didn't get caught. She was openly trying to steal Tate from Holly with no shame, showing up at the Horton cabin in bikinis to seduce him, and blackmailing Holly to work all her shifts at the Bistro. Once the recast started the show has acted like Sophia's lived in her room, sheltered her entire life lol.
  4. If Jordan never appeared again, I would absolutely not notice or miss her. So, while Brook Kerr has her flaws, she at least appears to have a pulse and a personality as Portia.
  5. They haven't explained the ownership of the Bistro, but Doug told Holly the other day he didn't get the job there. Basically Roman just hired Doug on the spot and gave him a room. It was really nice of Roman. I don't know if he knows who Doug is or that he stole Julie's necklace. That was unclear-at least to me. ETA-I feel like the Bistro might just die and people will just pretend to order food there like Leo did today. Sophia is on bed rest so no one works there anymore. They can use that set for something else.
  6. I don't expect Lois to be the same person she was 25 years ago, but she's definitely lost a lot of what made Lois unique. It's clear the show doesn't know how to write for her, and the sole purpose of Lois is to hide this Gio secret. It's a shame she doesn't interact with more of the canvas. It's a waste of Rena's talents. I like Brook Kerr most of the time. She can be hit or miss. I totally get what you are saying about her line readings too. I honestly think the character really suffers being stuck in the Curtis pairing. She's much better than Tanisha Harper's Jordan lol.
  7. Yeah, I thought it would be more explosive or heated and it was kind of standard. Both can do more with the material. I just don't think the writing was there.
  8. Because you are posting these things like they are true facts. And they aren't. But whatever, Donna, you will just keep doing you. Most people actually are trying to talk about GH in this thread. Not random twitter/facebook/internet rumors you bring here. I am just wasting my time even responding.
  9. You know what is a great way to stop these unclear "rumors"? Just stop posting them and then back tracking with words like "apparently". Anyhow, I didn't find the Tracy/Lois scenes as good as I hoped.
  10. Lol. I love that this board still allows misinformation from a bad source.
  11. The show is definitely trying to make Lulu seem like she's wrong and Brook Lynn is being tormented. I just don't really see it that way. Lulu really hasn't done anything except confront BLQ. She hasn't told anyone, Chase already knows, and she's writing an article about adoption. Everyone is jumping down her throat for something Lulu actually has a personal investment in. Brook Lynn's freakout about a newspaper article on adoption is way more suspicious than Lulu just writing a story about it lol. Chase is coming off ridiculously self-righteous too. Telling Dante to make Lulu stop while lying to him about his child.
  12. The fact that Lois brought Gio to Brook Lynn's wedding, encouraged him to stay in town, then decided he should live at the Q's make her look dim and like she was asking to get caught lol. I still strongly dislike this story, but the performances have been good. Like you said Gio finally has a story and Dante will get something to do besides playing house with Sam on the backburner.
  13. Unrelated, sort of, but he looks absolutely nothing like Amanda Setton or Dominic Zamprogna so it's kind of hilarious they decided to make Gio their kid. It's very clear this was not the original origin story for Gio when they cast him. He is a very handsome guy though.
  14. I am glad Brook Lynn blurted out the truth to Tracy and we get to see her reaction. I really hope the show doesn't forget about Ned in this story. Since he appears so rarely, he tends to be the afterthought in all this. That was a pretty large secret Lois and Brook kept from him for no real reason. I need him to be able to show his feelings about being in the dark this whole time.
  15. After all Lulu's been through with her coma and missing years I can get her being on the sensitive side especially when talking to her mother. I was thinking it was more a culmination of everything than just this one particular problem.
  16. I also think the fact Lulu chose abortion and Brook Lynn chose to give a baby up for adoption instead when they were in similar situations adds another layer to this. The writing doesn't really state this, but I can see Lulu slightly spiraling about thinking she could have an adult child out there if she made a different choice. Both woman made the right choices for themselves at the time, but I can see both making parallels to their decisions.
  17. I am actually surprised so many people think Lulu is way out of line. I think it's more nuanced. Yes, it was BLQ choice to give the baby up for adoption and she shouldn't be shamed for that. At the same time I do think it does directly affect Lulu's family because it is Rocco's brother and she's still in love with Dante. So I can sort of see her moral dilemma there.
  18. Bo/Billie are in Night Sins but not together. She's bantering with Jack about the manuscript and Bo is in love with Carly. He stops Carly from taking off with Lawrence and Nikki on a plane when he solves Lisanne's murder. Winter Heat is Bo/Billie focused. Along with Vivian/Laura and Carrie and Austin I believe. Yeah, Bo/Carly and John/Isabella weren't exactly my thing so that's probably why I didn't love it.
  19. Lol! Why? Just sincerely asking not judging. It did have a lot of action happening I suppose.
  20. I find Javi so obnoxious and almost as insufferable as Leo, but I still think he might have potential. The show needs to ditch the Leo romance and give Javi some other interests and relationships.
  21. I totally thought of you when that scene happened and laughed. What a rhetorical question 😂
  22. Sure, a lot of the storylines of that era are felt on the show today, but the movie was almost entirely about Roman/Marlena/John plus Sami/Carrie/Austin and a side plot of Carly/Bo/Billie/Lawrence with the background of Titan's opening. It's...not about Jack and the memoir. So, yes, you could go back and use some of the small parts of the movie, but you couldn't or shouldn't do a direct homage of it like you could with One Stormy Night. It's two different things IMO.
  23. Drew and Willow being married and happy with Nina just dropping that bomb on the way out the door could be fun though lol.
  24. Why would you even tie into Night Sins if you are just re-hashing B stories? John/Marlena on the conference table with Sami seeing it and Carrie getting acid thrown in her face are the two main plots. You would be better off just throwing a Titan Anniversary party instead. I am skeptical they are even tying One Stormy Night from 1992 into this plot at all, but it's a much easier plotline to rehash and you could use several couples to make it work. Now that you mention the Jack/Kate/Bill story that might be one of the few "book" stories that worked though.
  25. Lol at the WSB hot guy asking Joss if she was okay with betraying her friends. Of course she is! Chase coming in hot at Dante was a choice. It's also quite hypocritical since Chase is lying to him about Dante's own child and making Lulu the bad guy. Talk to the grown woman yourself Chase. Don't make Dante do it. Lulu and Laura had some great scenes. The Rocco/Danny party is obvious an anvil for something happening and probably the Gio secret coming out. The Willow/Drew/Nina scenes were kind of anti-climatic? I get why Nina chose this path as the way to get rid of Drew, but will anyone ever find out Drew was sleeping with Nina?
