  1. Grigor Dimitrov will rise to #4 in the live rankings based on his performance in the WTF so far.
  2. Most people in this thread have been citing reputable (or even passable) source in links but boy, some of y'all are linking to some questionable blogs and websites! Lemme deconstruct one essential myth about Hollywood...it is NOT truly liberal. I repeat, It is NOT TRULY LIBERAL. Some of the actors may be Liberal. Some of the directors may be Liberal. Even some producers might be Liberal. But the Studio Bosses and the Executives with the power to 'greenlight' movies and TV shows? NOT LIBERAL. And they never were. It's similar to the owners of NFL and NBA franchises. Some of their players might be liberal but the owners are DEFINITELY NOT. Please learn how to make the distinction. Nobody here is claiming that one side owns deviant behavior, so the linking to a dubious website is unnecessary, by the way.
  3. When the cast sang at Chris and Nancy Hughes' wedding anniversary. It was poignant and heartfelt and completely fit the moment.
  4. As I've said before, a garbage tax reform bill by the GOP.
  5. Such madness. We are living an overly-broad satirical sketch that is passing for real life!
  6. And a Yankee! Hakeem Jeffries is Brooklyn born and bred and if there's one thing they can spot...it's a hustle. Boy, this GOP tax reform has no takers, least of all among its intended targets. Are we looking at another flop bill?
  7. No wonder Sessions and Trump Inc. are on the trot to find something to go after HRC for. Trump campaign has all this stuff to hide and shift focus from.
  8. I just posted an article about the prevalence of sexual harassment in Congress. One would think that in the halls where laws are passed (or at least they used to be) would be a place where there are safeguards in place to prevent people's personal space and rights being violated but nope! Hollywood's (and the entertainment industry) main problem is that it is made up of informal networks (meetings do really take place at hotels-lobbies, most times though) where breaches of etiquette happen daily (as an intern fresh out of school, I was once sent to the apartment of a male actor to drop off a script) but I'm still wrapping my head around lack of regard for the rule of law in government. I mean, it's government that passed sexual harassment laws in the first place, shouldn't they be abiding by it?
  9. Everyone is talking about Hollywood right now but this is so cringeworthy, it sent a shiver up my spine just reading the first few paragraphs. House and Senate Are ‘Among the Worst’ for Harassment, Representative Says
  10. The focus now seems to be on Hollywood but there are a plethora of stories now coming out of Congress and don't forget the Gamergate scandal that came out of Silicon Valley (which continues to have problems with diversity and sexual harassment). It's everywhere.
  11. If/when he gets booted out, I guess he wants to leave a legacy of inequality that will be difficult to erase.
  12. As a Black woman, to me, this stated the very obvious. Still, I'm glad this is something that is being amplified. Perhaps more people will pay attention but I'm dubious. I've never been able to figure out why Chris Brown and R. Kelly still even have careers? Although I have my theories on why the likes of these two have ascended in the R&B/Pop world and very little of it has to do with their actual music.
  13. Thanks for sending @Hunk Chandler Massey. He looks like he's in his element. That facial hair needs help though.
  14. I remember seeing a clip of him with his daughter on Shark Tank a few years ago. Seems like he likes to invent/patent things.
  15. As an aside, I continue to wonder whether those allegations against Assange might resurface in the wake of the unmasking of sexual predators era that we are living in. Speaking of allegations, I think this one has been floating around for months but here this article details the correspndence between Dummy Jr. and Wikileaks. Has anyone read this article? The Secret Correspondence Between Donald Trump Jr. and WikiLeaks
  16. By the way, her name is Beverly Young Nelson. Woman Comes Forward With Detailed Allegation of Sexual Encounter With Moore When She Was 16
  17. ...I guess when you have tiny hands, you struggle with handshakes. Trump’s ASEAN Summit Handshake May Be His Most Ridiculous Yet
  18. Don't remind me. I remember one episode where they had Jack doing a very cheesy rendition of an Elvis-like impersonation. It had no place in there. I was glad when they stopped doing it.
  19. Michael Park was doing theater, even Broadway before he landed on As The World Turns. (see: Smokey Joe's Cafe).
  20. If this Keurig boycott goes the way of the other alt-right/gop boycotts, a lot of other people are going to be purchasing Keurigs this holiday season!
  21. Vlad is mad! Not surprising, given, after all that maneuvering to help a useful idiot ascend to the presidency, only to discover that the useful part wouldn't come to pass. I said this a few months ago, and I still think it may happen down the road. As Vlad loses all patience, we may begin to see leaks coming from the Kremlin, that are simultaneously untraceable to the Kremlin. I feel like this has already begun to happen via that lawyer Veselnitskaya dropping little bits of intel in the past week and a half, or so with her remarks about Dummy Jr wanting a quid pro quo, dangling the possibility that a U.S. law might be changed to suit the Kremlin, in exchange for dirt on HRC.
