Wow! Like so many have already said, this came as a real shock. R.I.P. It's been a tough few weeks recently with Redford, Goodall, Routledge and now Keaton.

Machado wins for 'tireless work promoting democratic rights' In a post on X, the committee says it has awarded Maria Corina Machado the Nobel Peace Prize "for her tireless work promoting democratic rights for the people of Venezuela and for her struggle to achieve a just and peaceful transition from dictatorship to democracy".
