  1. So sad and tragic. Followed him on IG and he was so full of life and energy. Very sweet guy from what I could see from social media.
  2. This is so sad 💔 RIP Johnny Wactor https://www.tmz.com/2024/05/26/general-hospital-actor-johnny-wactor-dead-shot-killed-robbery-attempt-car-catalytic-converter/
  3. It was bound to happen, but Eastenders finally managed to beat Emmerdale in the ratings the week of the April 29th. I wonder if it will soon become a regular thing for the show. I hope this wakes up ITV, their soaps seem to be in trouble IMO. 4. Watching the Patrick and Yolande two hander and it was so very well written, it felt like I was a stranger intruding, watching them have a personal and eye opening discussion. It ranged from tears, to anger, to laughter, to demonstrating the love these two have for each other. Kudos to the actors involved.
  5. Holly should've come up with a greater scheme to keep Johnny and Chanel apart, and when that blew up in her face in spectacular fashion (not exactly like the Sami/Austin nonwedding with Carrie years back, but something similar that forces Nicole and the entire town to see what a schemer she is), we'd see Tate pick up the pieces and the two grow closer.
  6. I can't wait to watch. I'm so glad that the family unit of Fox/Truman continue to get focus.
  7. Maybe we're heading to Heather trying to reform but ultimately reverting to her old ways before being sent off after an epic mental break. I'd be a fan of that more than anything, a slow burn descent back into madness.
  8. I swear Ravi killing his father and it coming out, was supposed to lead up to Kherat's return somehow (around Christmas). But like the Freddie paternity story(with Little Mo), it seemed to be written around wishful thinking that certain actors would commit for at least a brief visit. It's crazy how little Ravi has been shown, or any follow up to his stories.
  9. This. The above characters listed have been background characters long enough. Poor Bobby has been a background player for such a long time I don't blame his portrayer for leaving the show.
  10. I hope this means George’s estranged son is coming tot he Square! Colin Salmon and the Knight's have been a good addition to the show. 🤗
  11. I can possibly see Dean running into Keanu's yet to be seen father in prison, and Keanu's dad coming to the square to enact a secret revenge plot. There's so many little hanging threads on the Taylor side of things regarding Keanu's death and impact.
  12. Finally got around to watching the episode featuring Yolande's sexual assault, and I have to say I loved the show's approach and handling of it. Angela Wynter was phenomenal from start to end. FINALLY they give Harriet Thorpe some good character driven scenes with Yolande. This is the kind of Elaine we should've been subject to at the beginning, sure she's bigger than life, but she can also be a shoulder to lean or cry on when the moment calls for it (her relationship with Linda needs a lot of work, maybe this story will lead up to Linda and Elaine reconciling their differences). Disappointed in the dwindling focus on the Beales, Ian and Peter notably. I think we should've got more out of those scenes involving the anniversary of Lucy's death. However I may be the minority, but I am happy that we are finally getting some movement on the Elaine/George/Cindy/Ian quad though. Shades of old Cindy are definitely are going to come out as the story progresses and I'm here for it. I will say that the current regime has done WONDERS for Phil Mitchell's character, and his friendship with George is refreshing. The show uses him as a confidant for George, as Phil is often forced to admit his many regrets in life, and in other scenes the show uses Phil for comedy relief when it comes to Billy working up the urge to propose marriage to Honey. This is the Phil Mitchell we should've seen years ago.
  13. Apparently h the show is getting ready to off another teenage male 🙄
  14. Looks like the UK soaps are making the same mistakes as the American soap have made; recycling producers.
  15. Remind me to never log onto social media during a national event such as this. Smh. Prayers to those who were on the bridge at the time of the incident.
  16. That'd be a dream come true!
  17. Delete post. I see someone already mentioned Roger Newman. lol😜
  18. It's incredible, most writers would kill to have both EP and HW credit, less hoops to jump through and etc. but with Josh he's failing miserably bc it seems like he can't execute his own stories yet he controls production and the day to day writing.
  19. I doesn't seem that RH was a good environment back when it was on air, at least from Levin's description.
  20. This would be a great idea, one I would expect to happen under the scabs. Under Ron, I wouldn't hold my breath.
  21. I think CBS is taking note of the success (at least talk wise/watercooler discussions) of shows that are centered around African Americans. BMF, All American, heck even Tyler Perry produced written shows such as The Oval and All The Queen's Men; they all have an audience of sorts, one that every now and then are vocal online and social media. I think creating a black daytime soap, while surprising, when you look at the big picture it makes sense.
  22. I seriously had to make sure what todays date was bc it felt like it was April Fools joke. Way to go CBS Daytime!!
  23. I liked the closing theme 🤷‍♂️
