  1. It's incredible, most writers would kill to have both EP and HW credit, less hoops to jump through and etc. but with Josh he's failing miserably bc it seems like he can't execute his own stories yet he controls production and the day to day writing.
  2. I doesn't seem that RH was a good environment back when it was on air, at least from Levin's description.
  3. This would be a great idea, one I would expect to happen under the scabs. Under Ron, I wouldn't hold my breath.
  4. I think CBS is taking note of the success (at least talk wise/watercooler discussions) of shows that are centered around African Americans. BMF, All American, heck even Tyler Perry produced written shows such as The Oval and All The Queen's Men; they all have an audience of sorts, one that every now and then are vocal online and social media. I think creating a black daytime soap, while surprising, when you look at the big picture it makes sense.
  5. I seriously had to make sure what todays date was bc it felt like it was April Fools joke. Way to go CBS Daytime!!
  6. I liked the closing theme 🤷‍♂️
  7. This was so insightful, thanks for the info about Bill and Bert's earlier stories on GL. Much appreciated and fills in some blanks.
  8. Definitely think it's Janet putting a mark on the show since she's in charge now.
  9. I'm finding all this commentary about the cast photo hilarious. And it's very fitting where Willow is located. 🤣
  10. This. Of course Thudley believes the audience has forgotten this...so of course lets split Finn and Steffy up bc she supposedly murdered Sheila. Smh.
  11. Daniel Cosgrove (Bill Lewis)
  12. Glad you're enjoying it! The show really rejuvenated itself during this period, I was even invested in the Dylan/Sam/Harley/AM/Blake/Phillip saga.
  13. It's at a alright place at the moment; though compared to last year it's been better. The show still has it's high points. I'd say delve into it.
  14. I watched a few episodes from Spring of 93 to fall 93, it was still good.
  15. LOL as someone who's been watching off and on since the move to online, some us have gotten use to the bad music 🤣 but yeah the music cues were downright weird at times.
  16. I wonder if some of that can be chalked up to the exit of Harley Venton's character, Derek Colby? From some of the summaries of GL in 1982 but I can't help but to think Marland had major plans for the character and perhaps Derek and Vanessa were going to be endgame had Marland continued writing for the show (and the show had kept on Derek's character). Pairing up Vanessa's firery vixen character with the straight laced and by the book Derek Colby would've gained quite the following I imagine.
  17. Its ridiculous. Out of the 15 years of being here, I've never placed anybody on ignore until now.
  18. 😭 I can't wait to watch, it sounds lovely. Love it when DAYS does the family oriented episodes.
  19. Nice to see DAYS gaining momentum. OLTL is also a force to be reckoned with as well.
  20. I wonder what the parallels if any of the ups and downs of ATWT and it having an affect on GL's ratings.
  21. Absolutely gripping episode. There's not much more I can say about about the Feb. 14th episode, that hasn't been said already. I loved the added depth to Gina and Anna's relationship with the discussion of colorism. The actors playing Eddie and Gloria are also knocking it out of the park. Colin Salmon has been nothing short of remarkable since his arrival, and EE must do everything in its power to keep him for a long time. I even tolerated Elaine's character who tends to be theatrical during much of her screen time. Great work to the EE production, writing, and cast for airing such a moving episode.
  22. Someone pointed out that ever being caught off guard in 2016, it's obvious that pollsters have been oversampling Republican's ever since.
  23. Right. I'm actually looking forward to seeing how this plays out with Julie/Doug, and in the end we'll definitely will get a scene where family and friends of the Hortons gather to celebrate the "refurbished" Horton home.
  24. Since taking over I do admire how Chris Clenshaw has catapulted Diane Parish to the forefront of the show; she never fails to deliver.
