Really disappointed that Serena couldn't close the match today. She should be embarrassed! However, eventually, she will be where Fed is. They can't stay #1 forever, and her replacement is on her way just as Fed's was over a year ago. The tennis she played in Cincy? I'm shocked she made it to the finals. However, she is possibly the GOAT in women's tennis, but she is now at the point to where not playing well against the field is different from not playing well against Vika, Stosur and a few others. She looks very healthy, but Vika wants the US Open, and she is possibly the only person to take it from S. Here's to hoping S remains #1 at least until February 14, which is the month she took that spot. Congrats Nadal! Didn't see that match (or S' for that matter, just kept up with the score on Twitter), but because it appeared really tight, looks must see. Will have to check it out.

My 2 favorite female players did battle, and of course, I love when S wins, but I would not have been broken up if Na had won. The close score makes it look like a great match, but it wasn't. S played some bad Tennis, and I don't see her winning the US Open if this continues.

Nadal and Isner is gonna be interesting. I get so umcortable watching Iz because he's so damn tall. But word on the street is that Sharapova "made" papa Yuri call Connors and fire him. They didn't get along from day one. Maria felt that Jimmy had no knowledge of women's tennis or her game. She felt he brought basic teachings to the table and offered nothing of value. Since Yuri insisted she hire Jimmy, he should be the one to fire him? Um no, Maria, ultimately, you hired Jummy and you have to man up and fire him. But what's done is done, Jimmy is probably toasted right about now (all he said was that he was going home and having a stiff drink).

The scene between Benny's father and the detective was all kinds of heinous! No audience should be subjected to that, and it's so unfair to ask. Wow! And why in the sam hell does Benny's father look like Johnny Witherspoon?! It's so distracting!

I just watched that Cory vs Cory eppy last weekend. Victoria Wyndham is... I can't find the words. I was also watching her scenes as she confronts Iris about being The Chief. The woman is absolutely amazing!

I don't think Raonic is a cheater. He realized that he touched the net, but the Chair was just too damn lazy to do his job. Milos even had a guilty look on his face, but again, the Chair didn't do his job. Should Milos have done the right thing? Perhaps, but ultimately, it would have been easy for the Chair to check that and make the right call. However, when all is said and done, Del Po had left the building long before that point. The match was Mios' anyhow. I'm so happy to see Nadal back at the top of his game! He is moving really well! So happy that Serena kicked ass and will remain #1 no matter what happens in the coming months! Sorana Cirstea has a bright future ahead of her, and I really like Cahill even if it's only temporary. She has come too far and achieved too much to be "embarrassed" by a gay son.

Veronica owned last night's eppy, and it was the first time I didn't need Candace to be entertained. Jeffrey is a loon, and it's about to go down. He was so much fun to watch yesterday. Came off almost childlike. When he told his mother "she won't leave", I'd swear that was a 5 year old talking. He was so innocent and stupid and obsessed! I loved it. He is so afraid to come out, and I can't say I blame him. The detective from hell??? That guy is so damn awful, and I'm sure they could have gotten an actor for the same price. Too many out there looking for work. This guy, with his jerry curl, was just happy to get the lines out correctly. A human brick, I tell yah! This is exactly what Pete Parros needs. Someone stiffer than he is to make him look good! Too bad Darcy believes she's been stood up (off screen), but it would be nice if she would at least pop up and inquire about Benny. To have her just pop back up once he's released would be ridiculous! Jim and Candace fight didn't bother me. I just wish it was a bit longer. Candace is as street as it gets, so I am not upset because she gets into a brawl with a man. Fighting a woman would be beneath her. Preview: Hannah tells Kathryn that Doofus tried to kill herself? He's on the couch supposedly sleeping in Wyatt's room. Wyatt is asleep. Jeffrey goes over to his bed, gets under the covers and starts caressing Wyatt's hand and arm. Wyatt begins to move and J gets out of the bed and goes back to the couch. It was creepy. ETA: Looks like J ups the ante next week. This is not a love story in the making. It definitely looks like it's going to be Fatal Attraction.
