  1. OK, so now all of the songs on Femme Fatale that I didn't like at first have grown on me. Especially Trip to Your Heart and How I Roll.
  2. I'd go back to liking her instead of being apathetic toward her if this were the real thing. Judas...meh. The chorus sounds a lot like Bad Romance, except...idk...she sorta mumbles and mushmouths her way through Judas. I wish she'd leave religion alone just because whether or not you believe, it's a total mood killer.
  3. Ugly/creepy/weird/scary
  4. OMG China, Autumn, and Tchantal. I loved it whenever Lily would say their names in her autistic voice. And didn't she want to be a Hot Girl too? Oooh lord.
  5. Thanks for all of your stuff, Carl. I always feel like I don't thank you enough I've never bought that MEK was happy in soaps, to be honest. He always looks like he's settled. He's content, he's okay. But he still thinks about when/where his chances of mainstream stardom slipped out of his hands forever.
  6. I swear to you I have that Ruth Warrick "I pooped up the line" look on my face right now. I love those nosy late 60s/early 70s yearbook-style articles like that, it's just that the shorthand they use make them a little confusing.
  7. WTF Anthony Ponzini is "married, but he's still looking for Right Girl." They gave not one single damn in the 60s, did they?
  8. I had no idea Marcia and Larkin were an item. I wonder if that's the finger Mark La Mura meant to stick up
  9. I just realized how funny that Babe/Bianca picture looks on top of the Joe/Kate one. It looks like Joe's telling Kate about Babe and Bianca having an affair, and poor Kate's trying to process the information before her head explodes. I think he's gotten a bit more macho since then. His face was still very soft and boyish in that picture, but now he looks a bit more tougher. Still very good-looking, though.
  10. Reggie & Dani I weep for what could have been with those two. Wade and Phoebe always makes me laugh because of how drunk off her ass she was at the wedding. Daniel Cosgrove was a gorgeous man at his peak.
  11. Lillian Hayman as the Statue of Liberty is too adorable. I get livid when I think of how they disrespected her. I rolled my eyes at that Starr/Travis story, but Connor Paolo grew up to be foine. 1987, Cliff Warner and the Temple of Doom era
  12. Here it is, at the beginning of this clip: "You had the nerve to go snooping in my things!?" "I had to because it seems to be the ONLY WAY TO GET THE TRUTH OUT OF YOU!!!!!!" The first time I ever saw it was on that Biography special A&E did for AMC in '03. I FELL IN LOVE with 70s AMC thanks to that special.
  13. I'd love to see all of the Sensuelle/Kingsley stuff. It's been ages since I've seen PJ, but I'll have to find it one day just to get a load of Steve's pants Ooooh, okay, now that you mention it, I do remember the spread you posted. David Canary's little blurb up there is really special, the part about how playing Stuart with Erica/Susan allowed him to let his real feelings for Susan come out on screen. DC always talked about how he loved playing Stuart, and I think that's the very reason why. As Adam, he had to be gruff and mean, but as Stuart, he could be nice and sweet and really intimate with his scene partners. I really think killing Stuart off is at the top of the list of why so many AMC cast members are quick to voice their disapproval of Pratt's run.
  14. The disco Phoebe pic was sitting on Photobucket account for years, I'm not sure where I got it from. I think a friend might have had some old SODs and scanned it for me. Erica and her men is one of those topics that I will always read about or watch. I just love, love, love the relationships she had with those guys and the chemistry that's evident between the actors and SuLu. Is Michael Minor the same guy from Petticoat Junction? It looks like him, but I'm not sure.
  15. Thanks, yall I beat up on myself because Cheap and R Sinclair (and others) always made these gorgeous banners, and I always felt like they were rolling their eyes whenever I'd unveil one of my crusty little creations Here's just a thing I posted last year when an Annie scene reminded me so much of Erica. It's nothing special, just a side-by-side, but they just look so much alike here:
  16. I had more, but I guess I deleted them or something...stupid decision, because I remember I was able to snap a hilarious one of Mona from the Raising Kane sequence with her big white curls all over the place. Here are some of my cheap-looking AMC-related banners and other images I made. Nowhere near as great as Cheap's, but I'm proud of them. (unfortunately, this didn't really happen until the next year) (Yes. I was obsessed with Colin.) Some family-based things I made. A lot of these, I wish I could do over because I didn't really have a good, complete grasp of who really represents all of AMC's great families. (The Kanes: Erica, Eric, Mona, Kendall, Bianca, Mark, Ellen, Jack....and Michael Cambias -- yeah, exactly) (The Martins: Kate, Joe/Ruth, Paul/Anne, Tad, Tara/Phil, Jeff/Mary, Kelsey, Jake and some girl, Tad) (The Englishes/Tylers/Wallingfords: Phoebe/Langley, Brooke, Charles, Chuck/Donna, Laura, Amy, Peg, Linc/Kelly, Anne -- but no Hillary?) (The Cortlandts: Palmer, Opal, Daisy, Dixie, Cliff, Nina, Myra/Sloane -- could have included many others here) (The Chandlers: Adam, Ross, Stuart, Marion, JR/Babe, Skye, Scott, Hayley, Cindy, Natalie -- this one's not toooo bad)
  17. You DID love Annie from the beginning I'm gonna miss all of your AMC banners Fusion could have been fun and sexy and hip, but Frons had no idea what fun, sexy, and hip were.
  18. I have a ton of screencaps that I took when I first watched the first 20th anniversary special on YouTube years ago:
  19. I'm sure she'll appear, and the poem is a given. I just hope they don't go with the "ghost Aggie" thing they did for the 10,000th episode. I'd love it if they just did the montage thing that SFK came up with in the other thread and just faded to a nice sunlit window, panned down to Agnes writing those final lines of the poem (as she does a voice over), then she closes it, props it up on the desk against the wall near the window, she gets up and leaves, and the camera zooms in on the book. "All My Children," with the sun light providing just the perfect amount of glow. Not a fade to black, but a quick fade to gold then a fade to black. I have a story similar to this. I hated this one chick. We never got along because we just had opposing personalities. So one day in 7th grade science, we're sitting in class, and she's in my group. I just randomly ask, "So, who watched All My Children yesterday?" I was eccentric and weird, I didn't expect anyone to actually respond, but she feebly says, "Me." And I'm cool with that chick to this day. All because of AMC.
  20. I want the last episode to begin with this...
  21. R Everyone's AMC stories are great. Meanwhile, if Opal Gardner was President, soaps would still be on the air.
  22. I wonder what are the chances of them bringing back Marilyn Chris as Wanda. I've only seen a little bit of her (I know there's more thanks to HamiltonBernique, but I've been focused on watching AMC videos lately), and I'm not sure if she has any connection at all to any of the current characters, but I'd love it if maybe she and Roxy went into business together or something like that. That would be hilarious.
  23. Not a perfect storyline by any stretch of the imagination, but...well, I miss these two... "Is it always gonna be like this?" "Always." Oh, to think of what might have been...
