Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Rumor has it that Kenya is upset Marlo and Sheree are friends, hence her comparison to Nene who stopped being friends with Marlo because she became with friends with Kenya who NENE introduced her to. I'm curious to see how that plays out. I believe Marlo will be around for the back half of the season. I know she went on the smaller cast trip with them. My guess is that this is when they'd decided Lena was done and brought Marlo back to stir things up a bit.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
That is Beverly Hills this year! No big feuds and heavy drama, just them loving life, working and having a good time. It's finally fun again. The fact that we're arguing over panties and not cancer or minchausens or whose an alcoholic is amazing.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
It makes me sad RHOC had such a bad season ten. I hate they didn't bring back wives and have more cameos. I hope NYC does that. Jill definitely needs to come back and the cast trip needs to be in Australia to visit Alex. Make it nostalgiac.

Jill filmed one scene that we know of. There is no doubt it'll make air and probably the trailer.

Ladies of London
Call me crazy but I actually still like Caroline Stanbury. I understand her initial frustration with Julie and I feel had Sophie not gotten involved they could've worked it out and gotten over it. I understand how she feels since her two friends took the opposite side which must be frustrating. I'm curious if it will get better or worse though. Overall i do agree that this season is excellent. I love the cast and I've grown to love Caroline Fleming. I hope it doesn't get canceled with Caroline moving and the bad ratings.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Beverly Hills is PERFECT this season! I can't believe anyone has any complaints. It's like an old school housewives season, very New York meets Atlanta. They throw shade and bicker, but it's not serious. We get all the glamour we want and some fun scenes mixed in. I'm happy. This show has always gotten too dark and too serious. I'm glad everybody is trying to chill the hell out. I'm so over all that darkness. Atlanta has been a bit a bit of a dud for me but now that Kandi and Phaedra are feuding you can tell it's gonna heat up. Kandi was delicious in her take down and the fallout is obviously going to be amazing. Phaedra is very calculated and is smart to use Porsha to do her dirty work. This is about to get very good. Still, next season that HAVE to revamp the cast. At the very least do like OC/BH/NYC and filter in at least one full time wife each year. They shouldnt have gotten rid of Claudia in retrospect. And if they are gonna be lazy, just go ahead and cast Marlo already. This is getting stale.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
DaytimeFan, I completely understood Eileen's reaction. This is her third season dealing with a major death in her family. She's probably numb to it at this point. I have to give her credit because so many would be broken down but she's still trying to survive. Some people don't view death as a negative and try to focus on the positive and that the person is at peace. I'm going to say that's the approach she's taking. Overall I LOVED Eileen tonight! My queen was back! She drove me crazy last year but her talking heads and interactions with the ladies has been spot on so far. And can we have a moment for how GORGEOUS she looks?! Her style is so on point! This premiere was a revelation for me. It felt like old school HWs, particularly New York since we all remember how dark BH's first season was. We got lots of wealth and glamour, the interactions were good and whatever drama or shade we got was light. Even in the promos it looks like it'll remain that way. I hate the darkness and hatred some of the series get and I appreciate what they're giving after such a dark season last year. Without a doubt the best thing they could've done is get rid of Yolanda. Neither she nor Brandi should ever be invited back after how well the show is going without them. Good riddance. I think they have a very solid cast to work off and I hope Eden continues the trend towards an entertaining season.

Star Trek returns with streaming series
I've been saying from the beginning that this is just a disaster. It's been a disaster since day one. This is a money grab for CBS and that's it. They completely forgot about Star Trek's 50th anniversary even with a movie coming out. I know many were excited about Fuller's involvement, but the second I found out he wanted to do yet another prequel I lost interest. Then I feel they must've had creative differences since they delayed filming. Now we have to deal with a new producer and writer, clearly they're having casting trouble and nobody has a clue what's going on. Lost In Space comes out in 2018 and we already have a full (and very exciting) cast. I'm to the point where I don't even believe this show will meet the May deadline. We will see, but I have absolutely no excitement until I see the product.

The Lady Gaga Thread
She is a disaster. She knows her core fans will accept anything, but they aren't big enough to make her huge again. After the long break and her last album being a critical failure she needed to pull a Beyonce. Either a visual album, or considering it sounds more like a buzz track, I would've just released Perfect Illusion with no promotion and see how it does. That way if it flops, like it did, that's fine because you never said it was the lead single and you can have something bigger to throw out for the album release. I just don't think this was the right song for a standard album release.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I've felt this from the beginning, but Melbourne is truly the best of the best. The finale was HILARIOUS! These girls are just everything to me. I love the way they bicker with each other. Poor little Pettifleur is such an airhead and never knows when to shut up which leads to such great insults, Jackie is always a psycho, Lydiot can't admit a fault if her life depended on it, Gamble is a lovable airhead and Gina is just the queen of calm, collected shade. I live for Gina. When she said they all need to !@#$%^&*] off and go !@#$%^&*] themselves I died lol. I can't wait for the reunion and I am HEARTBROKEN AND DEVASTATED they haven't announced the new cast and started filming yet. Usually they would have by now, but for the first time it looks like they'll have to revamp the cast a bit so it's obviously taking more time. Plus they also have to re-negotiate the contracts for the original cast. Only "for sure" cast members would be Pettifleur, Susie and Gamble if the producers want them.

The Politics Thread
I'm so excited for the debate, but not sure what to truly expect. I feel like Hilary's performance will be strong and Lester Holt is one of my favorite journalists so I'm trying to be optimistic. We know he'll be hard on Hilary, because everybody is and he *should* be hard on her. My biggest question is will a moderator/interviewer finally be equally as hard on Trump and actually hold him to answer questions? He typically doesn't say much relating to the actual question and he never provides insight into his ideas, nor does he show more than a basic knowledge of the issues at hand. That needs to be highlighted. Hilary will give very concise and detailed answers so I am hoping the contrast is stark. The biggest problem for Lester Holt I feel will be what questions he asks Trump. I believe he'll be equally tough on both, but there is so much ground to cover with him (since no one ever does) that you're bound to have people complaining about the additional things he couldn't ask.

The View
Whoopi has needed to go for years. She seems irritated, out of touch and bored for years now. I want her to go back to acting where she is a star. I miss seeing her regularly on tv and in film!

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I agree on it being a setup. Everything with Shannon is so contrived to keep that affair going because it's her main storyline and the only way to get sympathy for her. It's weird because I feel like I'm enjoying OC week-to-week, but I also can't wait for the season to end. There is something lackluster about the show, it feels very fractured and as a result the drama comes in spurts. I need a new storyline next season other than hating Vicki and David's affair. They need to keep the cast mostly the same, but try and add a good two new housewives to change the dynamic. I'd dump Meagan and add two newbies.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I agree with everything yall have said about Auckland. The most annoying thing other than Julia's inability to accept responsibility was the fact that she kept repeating the comment, in the talking head and also to Michelle's face. She clearly has no idea why what she said was wrong when she says it all the time with hubby and friends, which is a huge red flag already. Geez. I never liked her, but never will like her. I will say, it was a very powerful episode and will go down in my Top Five housewives episodes. I just love how we went from normal vacation housewives stuff into something very real. They put the reality into reality tv in a way we really haven't seen on any of the international HWs which stay mostly tame. I hope and pray they have a reunion. Andy needs to go ahead and buck up and do it himself. This is the first international Bravo network and this show is gooooood. Much better than a lot of what he's putting out here. Tamra has been doing this all season with all the girls, but has been given a pass for some reason. If it was anyone else I'd be upset, but I LOVE seeing Shannon tormented lol. Talk about miserable. She is just sick. And I'm sorry, but she probably did drive David to an affair. I liked Kelly being included and the drama not centering around her for a chance, but I'm ready for their Ireland trip.

Star Trek returns with streaming series
I know it's an unpopular opinion, but I love Voyager. I don't think they did enough with the exciting premise, but that's more a sign of the times. If it never existed and were made today I think it would be an excellent show. I became a Trek fan with that series mainly due to my love of Mary Ryan. I think a big reason I'm so against a prequel is how painfully bad Enterprise was. A Star Trek prequel excites me, but Enterprise and the movies have made me afraid to even think of that. I do agree with you though about The Cage. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that pilot, but in 2017 can you recreate that? I know Rogue One has pretty successfully sat itself in the same time period, look and feel as Star Wars, but I just keep getting the feeling we'll get some 60s inspired costumes, but mostly a modern typical show. I feel like unless you take the limitations of TOS into consideration, it's no point in doing a prequel.

Star Trek returns with streaming series
Lost In Space airs in 2018 and they've already announced three cast members, not to mention it was announced well after STD. Another reason I feel iffy about this time change. Something about it feels a little off considering what a major property this is and the fact that nothing is going according to plan. I agree, not to mention the different types of shows you could do. I hope this is just one of many shows if it's successful. I could see one set at Starfleet Academy, or perhaps one set in the future, but not too far where you could still utilize Voyager and TNG characters, but in a different capacity. There are so many places you can go other than the traditional format or a space station like DS9.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
RHOD still doesn't have an official renewal, but rumors they're coming back with 4 of the 5 girls. They need to diversify that show. Texas is not a white state like many people think. That should should be frontloaded with black and latino housewives and maybe two white housewives. The Miracle Whip they're serving isn't ever going to gain traction. And that Kandi/Porsha news is gonna make for an exciting season if true lol. I can't understand why Porsha is still around either. She is UNBEARABLE and always has been. I am read for a new Bravo trailer: Ladies of London, the two Married To Medicine's, RHOP, RHOBH & RHOA. They need to get their asses on it. Melbourne is ending, NYC just ended and OC/NJ are both half way done. I'd say it's safe to say summer was a bust so I'm ready to focus on the fall housewives shows. I'd also recommend them actually promoting Auckland and having it replace Melbourne on fridays or perhaps even put it on a decent night from the beginning. After seeing the N word scandal, this would be such huge television here.

On his podcast, Andy said that he ran into Stephanie and Cary from RHOD and didn't recognize them!!!! When I tell you I screamed! If that show does come back then I expect a heavy retool.

Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Robyn was the housewife and even filmed the intro with them lol. She was very shocked when they announced the cast.
-
Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
Cheap, the chick in the previews is Robyn, who filmed from the very beginning as a full-time housewife. Because of an incident on the Vermont trip, she was cut from the season thus far and lost her spot on the show. She's a married lesbian with one or two kids.
-
Bravo's The Real Housewives of....
I have soooo many New Jersey episodes on my DVD, I agree it is stale and boring. I do wonder how it would've been had Robyn been included from the start. I like that being a lesbian she would've brought a different aspect to the show. I'm just so tired of the same storylines and relationships. They need to add a group of 2-3 non-italian wives with no connection to the current cast and mesh them together so you can have a true fresh start with new stories. This same ole garbage isn't working. I want a slight reboot of RHOA, but ratings are high so it makes sense Bravo doesn't do it. This show however has ratings in the toilet so they need to do something.

Star Trek returns with streaming series
My problem with the setting is that the last two Star Trek projects (the movie reboots and last series, Enterprise) were also prequels. The series is about going "where no man has gone before" so why do they keep shying away from advancing the storyline? Hell, just look at how jumping 100 years with Next Generation completely revitalized the franchise. Also by doing a prequel set so close to the original, now you have all sorts of continuity issues to worry about in terms of alien races never seen again, the various look of the Klingon's, the fact that you can't use Romulans and then the fact that due to technology there is no way it'll even remotely look in sync with TOS. I was just ready for something truly fresh and new.

The Politics Thread
That is very interesting from Vice and yes that is a respected site to my knowledge. Just thinking about their main point, can you imagine a scenario where he wins and then somehow his taxes leak and everything said is proven to be true about him? It would be frightening, not because it's shocking, but because people fell for his lies when they had the truth in front of their face. He is one of the most transparently dishonest people ever covered by the media, yet you still have many people who support him and a network (Fox News) that can somehow create 24 hour coverage that spins the things he does into a positive. It's sick and shocking.
