  1. Now this I agree with! I think they all varying degrees of crazy, but I still love most of them. As crazy as Jackie is she is probably my favorite from the LA bunch with Tami being my favorite from the mothership. I think the moment I fell in love was when her and Brooke got into a fight over a hypothetical question. I hate that it happened during the time VH1 stopped showing the fights because it was obvious Brooke just demolished her, but I give her props for still going all these years after already getting an ass whoopin.
  2. Seeing this thread on the first page just made me sad again knowing I'll probably never see this. I know at least 5 episodes are in collectors hands, but nothing so far.
  3. In general I think kids are off limits, but I do think there is a difference between the two. First of all, Jackie shouldn't be calling anyones daughter a hoe with her golden child sleeping with Draya's man just a couple seasons ago and her reputation. Evelyn's daughter may have a reputation as well, but she's completely separated from the drama that it was a low blow whether it's true or not. Jackie's issue with her daughters is a storyline on the show so I'm more willing to accept it as fair game. We saw the first season where she acted like her dark skin daughter didn't exist and when she DID appear she called Jackie out for shunning her due to her looks. I have no problem with people calling Jackie a bad mother for that and for not supporting her grandchild after he was burned because even she can't give a logical explanation for all of that.
  4. I know they said they aren't doing an album, but if it's a success it would be the natural next step. I do remember them trying to get Tiny back in the day, but I think the benefit now is that her reality show just ended and was well received. In general I don't care who it is, I just want new blood. This is the only show they stick to the same cast and it can get a little stale at times. I want a Victoria Rowell or someone famous to come in and be added to the mix. Kim Fields wasn't a total success, but I appreciated that she brought something different. According to reports it looks like season ten won't have any new cast members. The closest thing is the return of Nene and Kim and Shamea possibly getting a peach.
  5. Did anybody catch Xscape on the BET Awards? That's a pretty big deal for them and they were EXCELLENT! They look better now than they did in the 90s. I could see this reunion having legs for Kandi. At the very least they're going to have a hugely successful tour and I wouldn't be surprised if their album does well. Honestly, if Bravo was smart they'd try to get Tiny as a housewife in addition to the spin-off show.
  6. Basically I'm not looking at it as Star Trek I'm looking at it as a spin-off or sequel, not a prequel. If I do it's just a mess. From the costumes, to the conflict change, new aliens, etc. it just doesn't fit with TOS. It does look good though which is why I'm going to give it a shot. I just wish they'd admitted it's a prequel to the movies or just made it a sequel.
  7. I've always found Carole to be enjoyable. I think her and Heather were the strong additions. Aviva wasn't really watchable until she revealed herself as a self-obsorbed idiot and after that she was too "on" for the cameras to be engaging. Heather I found a little boring at times, but I liked her strength, wealth and family interactions. She was the full package.
  8. The NYC reboot didn't work because it was poorly executed. They should've never fired Alex for one and their idea was to act like the new wives were always there so they didn't introduce them. It was very jarring to watch. That will forever be a bizarre choice.
  9. Keyna isn't my first choice, but I feel the crossovers are overdue with these franchises. I always wanted Jo to move from RHOC to RHONY now that she seems to be doing well in New York. They probably would never move Kenya since she's part of the "black" franchise, but I'd be interested in seeing how she interacts with the New York ladies and if it changes anything.
  10. I think Mica is from the DMV area, but she's lived in Harlem for years so NYC is the only real option for her. Potomac is going to continue being a problem because it's hard to get women in that area to agree to be housewives. The real reason DC wasn't renewed is because they had difficulty scouting people after the Salahi drama and Potomac is basically a reboot of that show so it's going to have the same issues. Another potentially interesting thing is that Kenya Moore has been making cryptic posts that suggest she could be leaving ATL. Her husband lives in New York and it's possible he could move or they could split their time, but if she did end up leaving that show and moving to New York I wouldn't be surprised if they put her on NYC.
  11. RHONY has a largely good cast but needs a shot in the arm. I'm surprised they haven't looked at other Bravo shows, or NY based reality shows to poach talent. I'd love to see Mica from Blood, Sweat and Heels for example as a new HW. She was interesting and always seemed like a better fit here than there since she's closer in age to the NYC girls. Tinsley and Jules before are just boring. They'd be fine as friends, but not as actual housewives. NYC needs to think outside the box when it comes to casting. They try to keep everything very vanilla which is limiting the shows potential.
  12. I do believe there MIGHT be tapes, but he knows better than to release them because they would incriminate him not the other way around.
  13. The first time BJ mentioned it they did show a flashback and it was in the original footage of that dinner party. They even flashbacked to Sa'niyah acting drunk when they showed it. Cristen also confirmed it.
  14. Cheap I love you but BJ didn't backstab Jackie crazy ass. BJ told the truth about what happened and instead of owning it Jackie deflected by trying to fight her. With that said, I LOVE the show right now. Shaunie, Tami, Evelyn, Jackie, BJ and Malaysia make a good cast IMO. It's a nice mixture. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this Evelyn vs Jackie feud. Jackie usually picks on people she knows will bow down to her or play it off because she's just crazy Jackie, but you can tell Evelyn is not the one. I LOVE this!
  15. That OC preview was everything! I loved Lydia her first year and I still do. She on paper is boring with the potentially self-righteous Christian background, but she was nothing like I expected. She was fun and always fair, regardless of how unpopular her opinion, like when she went against Heather even though all the women kissed her ass. I'm glad in her return it seems she's still like that and isn't just going to turn on Vicki because Tamra and Shannon tell her to. That one scene has me so pumped for the new season! Now as for that Dallas preview...looks just as boring as before. They needed a total retool and some diversity. It's Dallas, in Texas yet there are no black or Hispanic housewives? Do they not know Texas?
  16. I agree with some of what you're saying. The show SUCKED when the season began. Too many newbies, rehashing the Evelyn/Tami feud which ended years before the original BW did and nothing was really clicking. They saw that and made changes which is smart. For me at least, BJ is the only newbie who seems tv ready and has anything to offer. Yes she's different from the others, but that's needed. Cristen is boring as hell, but he story is getting interesting so I can justify them keeping her around. Malaysia I feel still has story, but what does Brandi really have to offer? I don't think the show is hurting because she isn't there. I would've brought back both Angel's before I'd consider bringing her back this year. The preview for the second half of the season looks a lot better. Malaysia looks like she's going to be back in the mix, Jennifer is back and Evelyn is back to her old self. I think considering where the season started it looks good.
  17. I disagree. None of them had an issue with Malaysia. She sidelined herself by trying to force Brandi on them knowing Shaunie has been trying to get rid of her for ages.
  18. The show has settled into this reboot and it's very good. That trailer just has me excited for the rest of the season. Love that Jennifer is back. Looking forward to Tami vs Malaysia who is annoying me with the Brandi stuff. Can't wait to see old Evelyn back! And FINALLY someone is taking Jackie to task instead of acting like she's the harmless crazy aunt. Nah bitch you need to be dragged. Of all the newbies the only one I like is Bonnie Jill. I loved her scene with Malaysia. She's not crazy but fits nicely and I like her perspective as a Basketball Agent. Next season I'd keep the main cast and only bring her back. Cristin is benefiting from the messiness of her story but she's boring and tired. Evelyn was right about her look.
  19. I've met Jenna at the hotel I used to work at and she is ROUGH around the edges. With that said, I could see them hiring her. They struck gold with two soap stars and tend to be untraditional in their casting.
  20. Where did you hear Bravo was airing Auckland? I'd love that. It was surprisingly a very well done series and a good cast. I expected it to be cheap and forgettable, but it was very enjoyable.
  21. I could see RHOC and RHOD running together. The show suffered last year with no lead in. If they try it again this year it will just sink lower. I think that franchise is a dud and doesn't represent my home state well so I don't have high expectations for next season.
  22. I forgot about Shah's! They may have to just move RHONJ to a new night. Will it have time to finish before RHOA is ready? And they still need to schedule RHOD. So many housewives series to juggle lol. ETA: I just looked at Wikipedia and I HOPE there are more episodes to RHOP! If not that's gonna be one hell of a finale leaving lots to discuss at the reunion. Reading the summary it does sound like a finale, but they could get a few more episodes after all that.
  23. I know many say Ashley is a gold digger, but I don't get that vibe. She actually seems invested in making the restaurant work and is actually willing to put in the time to make it happen. Also, if she were a gold digger wouldn't she have just had a baby to secure her status? I think she truly does love Michael. Overall this season is good, but I must say Gizelle is so unlikable. I want to love her but she just never gives you a reason to. She talks so much [!@#$%^&*] but when called out plays dumb which is just boring. She knows why Monique has a problem with her, because she created one, but plays dumb. I wish Monique could move on and not have to deal with her, but storylines won't allow that. The Karen stuff with the house is what I wanted to see from the moment the Super Trailer was released. I'm glad we're starting to see the cracks in what's going on there. She was acting weird the entire episode. Robyn is just snoozeworthy for me. She made Juan her story and is upset people mention it. Bye with that mess. Another thing, are yall so sure the season is going to be short? I'm pretty sure RHONJ will replace it which would mean it has to go at least until the end of July or August. I'm pretty sure the earliest New Jersey will premiere is August but I could be wrong.
  24. The most ridiculous part of Bravo pulling the RHOC announcement over "leaks" is that everything that was leaked was posted to their press site...in other words they released it before the announcement and got upset that people noticed and posted the pictures. If anything they should be happy for the buzz.
  25. Dallas was simple considering it was one family that wasn't that big and they still couldn't get it right. With the large and complicated family tree Dynasty has, it wouldn't have worked. Certainly not on the CW. The only way that could've worked is if you choose to only focus on say Fallon (as played by Emma Samms who looks wise would fit on the CW) and her children. But then people would complain about the older cast members not being on or not being in large roles.
