  1. Lmao!!! I agree but I did love Donna in those early years! She was a fun comedic side character. She only suffered when they made her into the heroine all the guys fell over. Although I will say I had a soft spot for Tori. She did some good comedies after leaving the show and her Lifetime movies are iconic. But he now? I just can’t imagine.
  2. They are too old to let their old feuds affect the show. Valerie was such a huge part of the original I’d want to see her in some capacity and Brenda is a MUST. And when I say must I mean she needs to be full time. If you expect me to stare at Tori Spelling and god knows if she can still act, the star better be there.
  3. I know exactly what you mean which is why I don’t hold the original reboots against them too much. 90210 in particular gave you a proper reboot with some originals but mostly following a new cast of teens at the same school. Melrose similarly gave you a new crop of tenants in the same complex. I guess what I view this as is more of a spin-off because I do feel their is value in seeing these characters again. I remember Courtney Throne-Smith talking about wondering what Allison was up to and I’d love to see that. It wouldn’t make sense for them to be living in those tiny apartments again so why not keep it set in California but showcase their lives as middle aged adults with families? Same goes with 90210. The last few years were so far removed from school anyway so I wouldn’t necessarily need to see that again, plus they just did it with the previous reboot. I think it’s very clever to do a proper spin-off/reboot around the originals. Most shows people want to see the original casts back and I wouldn’t let the initial school setting hold them back in that regard.
  4. I wish! I’ve been wanting to relive her time as Gloria as well but I can’t find anything beyond her first scene. She was *so* good as Gloria I hate she left. She brought such depth to the role, she was darker and despite being very humorous I loved that she wasn’t a joke like Judith Chapman’s cartoonish take. Letting Joan go was one of the biggest mistakes they ever made. She was so good with Christian LeBlanc and Greg Rikaart.
  5. The 90210 revival wasn’t very 90210 after season two but I don’t think it was bad enough to avoid when it comes to this series. Melrose on the other hand I found horrific. The writers wanting to kill Amanda in the pilot and not knowing any of the original characters was bizarre. It was such a fun show but they wrote it so dark with none of the humor from the original. If they ever did a reboot With the originals (which Id set away from the complex) I would ignore that reboot. Back to 90210, I do hope this ends up on a streaming service. I was recently rewatching the original on Hulu until I realized so many episodes, including the series finale are missing. Before this airs they’ve definitely got to fix that. My core cast for a reboot would be: Brenda, Brandon, Kelly, Valerie, David, Donna and Andrea. I don’t want Andrea forgotten again. I could do without Steve and Janet full time but I wouldn’t mind it either. I’m also curious what new characters would be around. This is the type of reboot more shows should consider.
  6. The RHOBH promo looked way better than I expected! I had no idea Kim and Brandi we’re back. I’m most excited to see Kim, clearly the greatest housewife of all time. I hope she stays long enough to torment Kyle. Im happy to see Vanderpump isn’t letting those hoes breathe. I didn’t expect her to come off as strong as she did. I hope she tears Dorit’s ass up!🥰
  7. Link: https://deadline.com/2018/12/beverly-hills-90210-reboot-series-original-cast-stars-shopped-jennie-garth-tori-spelling-jason-priestley-ian-ziering-brian-austin-green-and-gabrielle-carteris-1202524313/ The Melrose Place cast has been saying this for years and I’d always dreamed of that happening. I’m shocked they’re doing it with 90210 but I hope it happens! They have a good bunch to choose from with the strong original cast (Brenda MUST return) plus some of the people added later! I’m so excited! This is a nice treat for soap fans who are often overlooked.
  8. Make sure to record WWHL tonight. There will be news on RHOBH. Andy was tweeting the trailer is coming sooner than we think and WWHL retweeted it in relation to tonight’s show.
  9. The RHOBH girls will say she’s covering for misdeeds but that’s kinda hard to prove if Vanderpump Rules started filming first and she’s already showing she’s upset and depressed. Just like always I predict it’ll be another “Take Down Vanderpump” season and it’ll blow up in their faces.
  10. RHOA was good again I thought. There’s nothing major because you have so many newbies so they’re still getting to know each other and developing relationships. I like how people are gradually realizing how Eva is which is in turn causing her to be less shady and hopefully more transparent in the future. I agree with @Cheap21 that Kandi needs to stop talking about Porsha. This is so unlike her to be so messy and such a hater but I’m looking forward to Porsha hopefully digging into her ass later on. I also agree with u that Cynthia is useless this season. She need to move to CA as rumored and focus on her businesses at this point. Shamari gets better each episode but nobody is hating when they say she needs a makeover. The wigs and “fashions” her stylist brought were shameful. I’m a drag queen and I wouldn’t wear them. I will say she finally looked good in her confessional with the black wig that actually looked natural on her. The feud with Marlo looks juicy but tbh she should’ve let Marlo help her. They’re trying to prevent her from looking a fool on tv...why she so mad?! Also have to give Nene a shout out for looking absolutely gorgeous this week! I loved her wig in that kitchen scene with Greg. It’s so rare Nene looks good so I’m impressed this year she seems to look fairly decent.
  11. That is disastrous for the show. I could easily see it being canceled now. Surprising for me is that Dushku is a very popular and respected tv actress. It's not like they did this to a newbie without power in the industry. This would've been easy to resolve, but they simply didn't care. The fact that the producer was even saying she is HELPING the show and fit in, yet they still fired her is baffling. I'm glad she used her power in the industry to get a settlement out of it, but truly they are idiots for not working this out to begin with.
  12. With the political climate I decided to buy RHODC on Amazon and give it another go. I always liked it, but I'm loving it now. It's so weird to have a show centered around Obama in office considering how wild things are now. Had this show never happened and they did a version now it would've probably been a typical Housewives show considering how crazy DC is now. Still, it's a fun re-watch. I'm 5 episodes in and it's much better than I remembered. The cast of five was a very strong first season cast. Everybody had an interesting story from Lynda with Ebong, her kids and business to Stacie finding out her mom is white and her dad is from Nigera to Cat's young and troubled marriage, Mary and her huge family and of course the crazy Salahi's. The Salahi's make Taylor and Russell seem normal. They are the ultimate in famewhores and it's amazing to see what a good job they did at first of fooling the new wives into thinking they were normal, wealthy people and then watching the facade slowly crumble. The trip to the winery was epic! The heavy security, the grapes from the grocery store, accusing Mary's daughter of grand theft in an FBI investigation! It was wild! These ladies definitely deserves a second season! I'll also say Stacie was a unique housewife that I don't think we've seen repeated, especially with Black housewives. She's a foster child that went on to graduate from HARVARD and is a successful real estate agent. I loved that she wasn't all into the wigs and fashion and just was a smart, cool lady. People like Stacie and Lynda are really why I wish they had another season. They were among the best!
  13. I'm just gonna vent a little. The reunion looks amazing after yet another great season. I'm sick of the way Bravo is treating this show! Even without RHOA they were getting over a million viewers on Sunday, but got pushed first to saturday and then to friday. Everybody is raving about tired, overrated RHOD, but that show is promoted and pimped out heavily and three seasons in has no audience. This show isn't promoted, is on HORRIBLE nights and still manages better ratings. Hell, I believe the saturday episodes had higher ratings than RHOD. If Bravo were smart (and not low key racist) they would've opened up a second night with Married to Medicine years ago, which would've helped the Houston and upcoming LA spin off's. Instead because blacks are only allowed one good night (sunday) it's completely ignored. It's ridiculous!
  14. AndTanya is nothing like I expected. She’s young and fun and rich. Just what this show needs. When I saw her house tour I was stunned they didn’t see she needed to be full time. I still like Shamari for youthfulness and how trashy she is, but Tanya is more immediate for me. I anticipate Shamari will be good for drama, but Tanya is the full package. That Yovanna chick was bizarre. Pretty but thirsty and came out of nowhere. Marlo’s comment about how she met her man was the line of the night! RHOC I cannot say enough good things about. After a boring season that was such a good three part reunion. Kelly Dodd is legendary and needs to stay. Gina was so thirsty for cameratime but her ass need to go back to that room she renting. Praying Shannon doesn’t fall for Tamra’s fake tears.
  15. I still think Dallas’ ratings suck because it’s bland and overrated. With that said, ratings are down everywhere for live viewing. I’d be interested in seeing all of the housewives ratings with DVR included.
  16. You need to watch lol. You’ll be shook how pumped up they were after such a boring ass season!
  17. RHOA was another fun episode! We finally got to meet Tanya and like id said before, I needed to see her before forming an opinion. Based on her picture I had no idea what she’d be like. She ended up being fun and had a youthful quality I liked. I look forward to seeing more of her. I have more interest in her than Shamari who is *so* Dollar Tree. When they talked about fashion you could tell she was praying nobody looked at her and her wig. I was happy to see the ladies catching on to Eva. I’m sure by the time the reunion rolls around they’re gonna light her up. Even with the Cynthia thing I notice Eva wasn’t denying it just deflecting. I wish Kandi had mentioned her saying Shamea was too black. So far they’re still learning their groove with the new girls mixed in, but I’m having fun still. Very light hearted fun with light shade. RHOC: What an extra reunion. Kelly and her side comments cracked me up. I agree those newbies were useless and I agree that Vicki was disgraceful tonight. It’s so obvious she created the problem with Kelly by not caring about her feelings. Even when she eventually apologized you could tell it was to shut her up. The cocaine comment with no evidence “because she called me fat” was shameful.
  18. If anything, I could see them putting her on Orange County, but Beverly Hills no lol.
  19. I disagree! Lydia was fabulous both seasons and I stand by that. I’d love Lizzie back (she never should’ve left), but Gretchen is too phony. She blew it when she returned last time. In terms of past housewives I would’ve be opposed to seeing Alexis or Heather as well. OC is lucky to have a huge pool to pull from. I’d still keep Emily though. Btw, Kelly on Instagram confirming she WILL NOT be back unless Vicki leaves. So enjoy this reunion because you know Bravo won’t pick her over Vicki. Considering she brought a youthfulness and fun spark to the show, casting will be even more difficult next season. RHOA: Ima sit on this train alone and that’s fine, but this is the best season they’ve had in YEARS! It’s quiet, fun and has the heavy emotional punch with Greg’s illness. There are new tensions simmering that will explode over the course of the season. I don’t have one complaint. This is the type of soft reboot they’ve needed for years. Shamari - I’m starting with her since she was introduced and got a heavy focus tonight. My first impression was: Being Bobby Brown. That’s what her and her tired can’t sinng husband give me. They are a hot mess, extra and delusional and therefore perfect for this show. I think she was a perfect choice and will fit right in. I instantly hate her husband for what he did to my ears and throwing shade at Kandi. Ummm Kandi has helped your wife and she put you on HER tour and you gonna try to read? Great Value Peter, sit down. Kandi and Porsha - I loooove Porsha this season which is crazy because I hated her before. Kandi is just kinda there but I love her too. I don’t look forward to them fighting over Porsha’s new man though. This is hypocritical coming from Kandi after what’s happened to her with Todd and AJ on this very show. Cynthia and Eva - Eva got her peach and is letting loose. I’m glad Marlo is going to let her have it next week. Eva is coming off like a hater, not just someone throwing reads out. Cynthia ain’t bothered her or said nothing about her, so why the fcuk u keep mentioning her? As the ladies learn of what she’s saying I want them to dig in her ass! Nene - My queen that I support no matter what is breaking my heart. We’ve known Nene and Greg for so many years that we KNOW them. She is the Susan Lucci of Housewives and no matter what she’s down that I don’t agree with at times, I always loved Greg. This is heartbreaking to watch, but important. We know Nene is a private person, but this is her job and I applaud her for giving us real life. The discussion of chemo was heartbreaking and the follow up with Cynthia made me feel even worse. I feel like it’ll be a mistake not to go that extra step, but we just gotta be hopeful. I’m so excited for things to kick off next week with Cynthia’s potluck!
  20. Okay OC May make up for this dull season with that reunion. Ima say keep Emily and ditch Gina and bring back my girl Lydia and u set. I know y’all gonna think I’m crazy saying to bring Lydia back again, but i always felt she brought a richness to the show and while she was nice, she can be messy and strong willed. We need her to complete the Tamra takedown. Promoting this season that hypocrite said Lydia’s husband was gay. Throw that in with Emily and Shannon’s problems and Tamra will get her ass handed to her.
  21. I think it’s too soon to say that about RHOA. I feel like the others, especially RHOC are given more of a chance to find their groove with reboots. They were overdue for a change up and I think so far this one is fine. I’ve only seen episode one, but the ladies each seem to have their own stories/families to film with. We still need to meet Tanya and Shamari and see how they interact together before we really know anything. I’d say by episode 5-6 we should have a better feel. I do wish Kenya had stayed though. Her storyline was set but at the same time I see why Bravo didn’t keep her. With a high risk pregnancy she would’ve been severely limited with what she could deliver. I think she’ll be back next year with the type of salary she wants. Sheree on the other hand needed to go. She had no story last season (prison calls don’t count) and joining Kim on that foolish Nene-takedown made her unrootable. It was just so one sided.
  22. Sad news! Camille’s Malibu house just burned down which might explain why she didn’t go on the cast trip to Paris. Eileen Davidson’s home was thought to be lost, but she just got word only her yard was damaged. Off topic, but Tracey Bergman from Y&R also lost her home.
  23. I keep hearing filming has been extended and other than the LVP drama nothing is happening. I think the smartest thing she could’ve done was not film with them. They’re scrambling to come up with something since she won’t allow herself to be their story.
  24. I’d love it bc I’m not sold on Barbara, but I don’t believe Jill will be more than a guest. ETA thoughts on the others: RHOC - I’m still bored. This was by no means a bad season but it lacked momentum and chemistry with the cast. I watch and enjoy but I’m ready for it to be over and to see what they do next season. Exit rumor: RHOJ - Ever since the season six reboot I’ve been back in love here. I think the Manzo’s needed to go to reset the storylines and it’s mostly worked. Last season was good but my biggest complaint was them throwing out months of filming and using it only in flashbacks. I gave them a pass because it gave us 13 tight episodes and with Teresa grieving her mother it made sense to skip a lot of that as it would’ve been very dark. Now fast forward to this premiere and they’ve done it again except it is obviously to limit Danielle’s screentime. Starting with season six they keep doing this weird thing of changing their minds while filming and cutting lots of stuff. I don’t get that. OC may not always be successful in its delivery but at least they stick to what was planned. It’s odd that everybody is talking about Danielle and she’s featured in all the flashbacks yet she doesn’t have her own POV. They should’ve treated her as a full time housewife since it’s obvious she was filmed that way. Beyond that I enjoyed it. I always found the truce between Melissa and Teresa to be forced so I’m looking forward to that being derailed. I enjoyed Dolores so much more without Siggy! The stuff with Frank surprised me as I’d completely forgotten the reunion. Margaret was fun as always. Andy compared her to Dorinda and I agree. She came late but just fits. My verdict off one episode is that NJ will have a good season!
  25. Where did they find Anna Stuart and how could they let her go?! This goes for the other soaps she appeared on as well. My goodness, she’s only been on a few months where I’m at but she is truly flawless. It’s rare you see a young actor so gifted who hits the ground running with no grace period. She is stunningly beautiful and has imbued Toni with so many layers in such a short period of time. You can say what you want about the writing here and there, but this cast is amazing and full of unsung Daytime should-be legends.
