  1. Since this seems to be turning into an umbrella "DAYS" spoiler thread... It might be a dream. It might be a person wearing a mask. I don't give a damn. Them two have CHEM!
  2. "Y&R" is not too far off from its performance one year earlier in the demos. In Total Viewers it's up year over year and up year over year in Households, and remains third or fourth in the demos (often second). Josh is safe.
  3. Find out how daytime broadcast performed among Total Viewers, Households, Women 18-49 and Women 25-54 rating during the week of January 10-14, 2022. Note: The post Daytime Broadcast Ratings for the Week of January 10-14, 2022 appeared first on the Soap Opera Network website. Read More
  4. And that's a problem in itself. Not to mention EJ raped Sami. In the case of Kristen/Brady, it isn't the SORAS issue it's the fact that she was his step mom when he was younger. Sure, they can age to character but to outright ignore that she was around when he was growing up while still playing the beats of her obsession with John just isn't good writing by any of the writers or producers who allowed that plot. For soaps to survive in this current era of nearly 600 scripted series clawing for viewer attention they need to give some realism of sorts so that they can justify why they need 2.5 to 5 hours of a viewer's time. Just my opinion.
  5. Why is this spoiler already out there? Good, God I hate when people don't abide by agreements! Anyway, don't think too much about it. This episode won't be that impactful. Watch the episodes a few days after that for some real drama. Of course, to be clear, still watch ALL episodes of "Days of our Lives."
  6. All five co-hosts are appearing on "The Price is Right at Night" on Wednesday, January 19. This is clearly a last ditch effort by CBS to save this show. If the ratings don't perk up it's done after this season and I expect a replacement announcement by April 1 or sooner (like how GL got the boot on that day).
  7. I agree, again for the most part. However, I do like EH and always have so I'm being slightly biased in this.
  8. Can Adam just confess he really wants Chloe already? I'd rather them as a pair rather than the back and forth between Adam/Sally and Adam/Chelsea. At least it would up the drama as both women realize they can't have him and he wanted someone else. Someone they confided in, for the most part. It would at least be dramatic and not ridiculous. Plus it would finally give Elizabeth Hendrickson something to do. She has done absolutely nothing on this show since the days of Chloe and Billy (Billy Miller) -- to be clear this wasn't a knock on EH. It's a knock on the writers.
  9. Sneak peek of Akbar Gbajabiamila as he makes his daytime debut on "The Bold and the Beautiful" as Max, a Forrester Creations executive. 10. This is why I could never get behind Kristen/Brady from a storyline perspective. The hot sex scenes were great to watch when you ignored actual character history. Not to mention she mothered Johnny's niece, which makes his comment about not seeing her since he was a baby very ridiculous. Now they have to age hers and Will's daughter who is never with either of her parents.
  11. So what I liked about today's episode was the chemistry between Belle/EJ and Johnny/Gabi. Everything else was a bore. The writing for this show needs much improvement.
  12. This is true. On a somewhat related note, is there supposed to be a jury for these scenes? Or is the judge coming to his own verdict and sentencing? If this is about kidnapping, wouldn't the victim need to be there, specifically in town if not in court? I know they excused it with Sami giving her deposition and stuff but that's a poor excuse, IMO. Additionally, I don't ever recall a time where a victim could be out of the country while someone is on trial for something done to them unless it was a federal case (mostly due to witness protection purposes, if anything). If it's about COVID or budget, I think I'd like to win the lottery just so I could infuse money into this show.
  13. They were definitely the highlight of an otherwise awful episode. I could see them boinking in the court room during that lengthy break. Too bad it didn't happen because when it comes out "EJ"
  14. This is me when watching the Devil storyline, especially today's episode: 🙄😬
  15. "The Bold and the Beautiful" stars Thorsten Kaye and Lawrence Saint-Victor to guest on "The Talk" on Monday, January 17. 16. Thank you! This helps in my quest to find out exactly when it actually happened. No site seems to have noted her being upped to co-HW outside of @Toups and his handy archive here on the SON Community.
  17. That would require more than two gay people on a show at a time, and a show willing to let two brothers be gay at the same time. Maybe on a new soap. Not any current ones. Although...I could see it if they did step brothers competing for another guy but that would require a step family to be a real family and not a plot point because they can't find out what to do with two older adult characters.
  18. Steve deserved better on SATC and deserves better on AJLT. I watched about 20 minutes of the revival and had to turn it off. Not the show I grew up with, particularly from a structural standpoint. You'll have to tune in to find out!
  19. A former co-worker of mine married his wife, had a kid and they were married for 20 years. He's now happily married to a black man and they've been together for many years. His son is WAY taller than him (around 6'6 to his dad's 6' or 6'1), and hot AF.
  20. Raven-Symoné famously insisted that her character, Raven Baxter on "Raven's Home," not be a lesbian just because she is in real life. What you said above is exactly why I think actor's personal lives should be left out of their character's stories. However, Craig has been off the show long enough that it is plausible for this twist to be believable. Additionally, back when it was rumored that Kevin was gay (an era when that info was mostly taboo in the industry) many actually wanted Craig to be gay but not for the reasons you'd think. Some people couldn't fathom any other reason why someone that looked like Craig could get with someone that looked like Nancy since she was plus sized. Bookmark my comment. All I'm sayin'
  21. Thanks, Toups! The way it was worded to me was that it was some time ago like it was an afterthought of sorts (ie. it was long enough not to be that relevant today). Good to have a timeline of sorts that I can look at.
  22. Soap news gets clicks. Mainstream press is getting wise to it which is why the publicists are sending major news stories to them instead of the publications that have supported them for years. While the mainstream press may report the news, the readers of the content don't stick with them...they stick with SON (this place, not that other one), Daytime Confidential, SOD, etc. Same audience. Different outlets. Lastly, online entertainment sites have always existed for the clicks as their first priority. Even the supposed serious news outlets have become clickbait. It's all about the dollars, which I totally get. As for the reboot, let's not forget that COVID put a damper on development during the 2020-2021 television season. Many shows put in development around that time are only now getting looked at as possible opportunities for 2022-2023 since many of the shows looked at for fall 2020 got sidetracked to 2021-2022 (if that) as a result of not being able to shoot a pilot during the early part of the pandemic.
