ARTICLE: ‘Days of our Lives’ Alum Lucas Adams Joins ‘The Young and the Restless’ As Recast Noah Newman
“Days of our Lives” alum Lucas Adams (ex-Tripp Dalton) is the latest actor to be cast on “The Young and the Restless.” According to TV Insider, which first broke the news, Adams will portray Noah Newman on the daytime drama series, the eldest child of Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), and will begin taping this month at the show’s Television City-based studio in Hollywood with his first air date slated for sometime later this fall. The role of Noah Newman was most recently portrayed by Rory Gibson, who is currently enjoying critical acclaim for his take as Michael Corinthos on “General Hospital.” Since last appearing in Genoa City in 2023, Noah contemplated his feelings for Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks), who is married to his maternal half sister, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). Other romances included Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and, later, Allie Abbott Nguyen (Kelsey Wang), the granddaughter of Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), and the latter of which left town with Noah so the two could enjoy a new life together in Europe. Incidentally, Adams previously appeared on “The Young and the Restless” in a March 2012 episode, playing the uncredited role of Wesley. The casting of Adams comes just one week after the show announced it had hired his former “Days of our Lives” co-star Tamara Braun (ex-Ava Vitali), who begins taping this week, and is set to play the newly created role of Sienna Bacall, a woman who has “personal connections to several characters” in Genoa City. Adams joined the cast of the Peacock exclusive series in 2017, appearing on and off until 2024, while also earning two Emmy nominations for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Daytime Drama Series. Outside of daytime, Adams has appeared in episodes of such shows as “Suburgatory,” “True Blood,” “Grimm,” “The Thundermans,” and more importantly, “Liv and Maddie,” where he met his his real-life wife, Shelby Wulfert, who played the double for series star Dove Cameron to help aide the actress appear as twins on the Disney Channel original series. Adams and Wulfert married in October 2022. In addition to Adams and Braun, “The Young and the Restless” has also cast Roger Howarth (“General Hospital,” “One Life to Live”) for a mystery role. ARTICLE: ‘Beyond The Gates’ Season 2 To Feature 238 Episodes, Series Star Karla Mosley Reveals
Season 2 of “Beyond the Gates” will reportedly feature 238 episodes, series star Karla Mosley (Dani Dupree) shared on Instagram in response to a post discussing the show airing another week of encore episodes and why the series is the only one doing so while the other soaps, including fellow CBS dramas “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “The Young and the Restless,” continue airing originals. “Yeah, it’s a bummer! I think it has to do with the number of eps shot because we are a new soap,” said Mosley. “This upcoming year, we are shooting 238 instead of the 200 we did this year. And the year after that we would start doing 250 like most soaps. I think they are giving us some wiggle room to ramp up to the full 250 as everyone gets their footing in this genre.” “Remember, the others have been around for 40 and 50 years. And so have some of the producers, actors and crew members,” continued Mosley. “It’s a different kind of rigor. But, fear not, we are hot on their heels.” As exclusively reported by Soap Opera Network, Season 1 of “Beyond the Gates” will continue to air through the end of 2025, with episodes from Season 2, taping this month, set to air in 2026. Further, the soap opera is roughly four months ahead in terms of tape-to-air and two months ahead in script-to-tape. The increase in episodes ordered for Season 2 will likely result in fewer encore broadcasts next season, particularly as “Beyond the Gates” premiered the last week of February 2025. CBS renewed “Beyond the Gates” for a second season in May, with the network touting the show’s success and improving its time period by +48% among Total Viewers, according to Most Current and Season-to-Date ratings data released by Nielsen at the time. During the week of August 25-29, 2025, the most recent week in which ratings data is available, the soap opera averaged 1.539 million viewers, its best viewership number in three weeks. ARTICLE: Drew Cain Is Shot On ‘General Hospital’: Who Pulled The Trigger? (PROMO)
This week on “General Hospital,” it’s the moment fans have been clamoring for when someone finally decides they’ve had enough of Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), resulting in the congressman being shot by an unknown assailant. Note: “General Hospital” aired a rerun on Monday, September 1 (Labor Day). The show returns with all-new episodes on Tuesday, September 2. In a promo released for the daytime drama series for the week of September 1-5, 2025, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) can be seen asking Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), “How many people do you think want Drew Cain dead?” Dante responds, saying, “That’s a long list!” ABC Agreeing with Dante’s assessment, Anna ponders, “Who’s at the top?” as several faces flash across the screen, including that of Portia (Brook Kerr), Sonny (Maurice Benard), Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), Curtis (Donnell Turner), Nina (Cynthia Watros) and Michael (Rory Gibson). However, as Dante said, the list of suspects is quite long, as outlined by user @port_misery in a post on X (formerly Twitter), which displays a collage of several dozen people in Port Charles who would have wanted to off the former Quartermaine. Check out this week’s promo below. Interestingly, one potential suspect, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), metaphorically has wanted to get back at Drew for some time, as she once said to Jason (Steve Burton) in December 2024, “You had your shot at Drew… let me have mine!” Could she have finally reached her breaking point? To find out how the story develops, make sure to watch “General Hospital” weekdays on ABC. Stream anytime on Hulu. Note: The post Drew Cain Is Shot On ‘General Hospital’: Who Pulled The Trigger? ARTICLE: “It Was Make It Or Die,” Reveals ‘General Hospital’ & ‘All My Children’ Star Eva LaRue, Discussing How Her Late Mother Made Sacrifices For Her Career (EXCLUSIVE)
The ninth episode of “Soapy Hosted by Rebecca Budig and Greg Rikaart,” which is the new audio and video podcast series that takes a deep dive into the legacy, fandom, and enduring appeal of soap operas, will feature former “General Hospital” and “All My Children” star Eva LaRue. Releasing Tuesday, September 2, the episode sees LaRue sitting down with hosts Rebecca Budig (“The Bold and the Beautiful,” “All My Children”) and Greg Rikaart (“The Young and the Restless,” “Days of our Lives”) as she discusses in an exclusive clip released to Soap Opera Network the sacrifices her late mother, Marcie, made to help her career, and how she never had a back up plan to fall upon, emphasizing how she had to make it in acting no matter what. “She just passed a couple of years ago,” LaRue said, responding to Rikaart referencing how her mother would donate blood to help pay for LaRue and her sister to attend dance school. Eva LaRue, Rebecca Budig, Greg Rikaart CBS “My sister and I were pretty good dancers, so we got dance scholarships; otherwise, we wouldn’t have been able to afford dance class. But the dance scholarships were in L.A., so she gave blood for gas money to drive us to L.A., basically five days a week after school. And she was working two jobs under the table. We were on welfare until I was about 16, and she just really killed herself for it,” LaRue continued. “She just really wanted us to be able to really live out our dreams, and we were lucky that it was actually what we wanted – my sister and I were both singers and dancers, and into theatre and all the things. She really did everything she could to give us that dream. “The rest of my family was like, ‘What are you doing?’ I remember my uncle saying to me at one point, he was like, ‘This is really cute what your mom is doing for you and everything, but, like, what’s your fallback plan? You’ve got to have a plan B.’ And I was like, ‘I don’t have a plan B.’ He said, ‘Well, that’s crazy. Your chances of making it in this industry…’ but I think because I did not have a fall back plan – I think when you have a fall back plan, you’re going to fall back on that plan! I did not have a fallback plan, and it wasn’t like my mom could support me in L.A. We were broke, so if I didn’t make it, there wasn’t anybody paying for my rent. It was make it or die.” Watch our exclusive clip below. In a separate clip released by CBS, LaRue compares her experience returning to daytime in 2019, this time on “The Young and the Restless” as Celeste Rosales, after spending several seasons as Natalia Boa Vista in the primetime drama “CSI: Miami.” Check out the clip below. Future episodes of “Soapy” will include interviews with Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer, “The Bold and the Beautiful”), Cameron Mathison (Drew Cain, “General Hospital”), Karla Mosley (Dani Dupree, “Beyond the Gates”) and Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman, “The Young and the Restless”). Full video episodes are released every Tuesday through September 30 on the CBS brand YouTube channel. Produced by the Paramount Multiplatform Production Group, “Soapy Hosted by Rebecca Budig and Greg Rikaart” is executive produced by Mike Benson. Andrew Pemberton-Fowler serves as producer. ARTICLE: ‘The Young And The Restless’ Star Michelle Stafford Looks Forward To Working With Former ‘General Hospital’ Co-Stars
“The Young and the Restless” will soon welcome veteran soap stars Tamara Braun (“Days of our Lives,” “General Hospital”) and Roger Howarth (“General Hospital,” “One Life to Live”) to its cast when the two begin taping their first scene in September. Ahead of their crossing the threshold of Stage 41 and Stage 43 at Television City, where the world of Genoa City is created, cast member Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers) shared words of happiness in a post she shared on Instagram, where she welcomed both Braun and Howarth, while declaring the long-running soap opera “just got a little more bad ass.” “I could not be happier to be posting this!! Not only because these two are extra extraordinary actors, but because they are my friends!!” commented Stafford, following the news that Braun has been cast as Sienna Bacall, who is said to have “personal connections to several characters” in Genoa City. Meanwhile, Howarth will be playing a “mystery role.” “Our show just got a little more bad ass,” continued Stafford in her post. She added, “Just so you know, more surprises to come,” while using the official “Y&R” hashtag and the hashtag “Get Ready.” The casting of Braun and Howarth on “The Young and the Restless” reunites the former “General Hospital” cast members with Stafford, where Braun previously portrayed Kim Nero from 2017-2019 and Howarth played Franco Baldwin from 2013-2021. Meanwhile, Stafford appeared on the ABC soap opera as Nina Reeves from 2014-2019, before returning to the CBS series to reprise her three-time Emmy award-winning role – she most recently took home the golden statue in 2024 for Outstanding Lead Performance in a Daytime Drama Series: Actress. On “General Hospital,” during her time as Nina Reeves, Stafford interacted with Howarth’s Franco, where the characters built a bond that later evolved from friendship to romance, and a little blackmail in between. The role of Nina was later recast with Cynthia Watros (“Guiding Light”) taking over soon after Stafford departed Port Charles. According to PEOPLE, which first reported Braun’s casting, the two-time Emmy winner will begin taping in early September. She is set to make her first appearance on screen sometime later this fall. Meanwhile, according to Deadline, which first reported Howarth’s casting, Howarth is set to begin taping episodes in mid-September, with his first scenes set to air in the fall. After Franco was killed off in 2021, “General Hospital” decided to keep Howarth as part of the cast by having him portray the newly created role of Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt, who was part of the Quartermaine family through his parents, Jimmy Lee Holt and Charity Gatlin, with his paternal grandparents being George and Ida Quartermaine. Austin was killed off in the Friday, November 17, 2023 episode. Previously, Howarth joined the soap opera in March 2012 when he took his iconic “One Life to Live” character, Todd Manning, from Llanview to Port Charles. He exited the soap temporarily in 2013 due to an ongoing dispute between ABC and Prospect Park Networks (“PPN”), which at the time had licensed the “One Life to Live” characters in the hopes of launching an online reboot along with its sister soap “All My Children.” The dispute saw ABC forced to create new characters for Howarth and other actors who had migrated to the long-running soap opera. Franco Baldwin, a character first created by actor James Franco in 2009 as part of an exhibit he was working on for The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (MOCA), was the character the show’s writers at the time used to re-establish the actor’s presence in Port Charles. Howarth’s casting at “The Young and the Restless” marks a return for the actor to CBS, where he spent nearly a decade portraying Paul Ryan on “As The World Turns” and previously portrayed the short-term role of Jory on “Guiding Light” in 1992. Before portraying Kim Nero on “General Hospital,” Braun was best known for her role as Carly Corinthos, having played the role from 2001-2005 following the exit of Sarah Joy Brow, who originated the role. After making several guest appearances on shows like “House,” “Cold Case,” “Ghost Whisperer,” “Without a Trace” and “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” Braun returned to daytime in 2008, first on “Days of our Lives” playing Ava Vitali, a character that netted Braun her first-ever Emmy award win in 2009, this time for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series, and later playing the newly created contract role of Reese Williams on “All My Children.” Following her exit from Pine Valley in 2009, Braun returned to “Days of our Lives” in 2011, this time taking on the role of Taylor Walker, the younger sister of Nicole Walker. Braun left the soap again that same year, only to return in 2015, this time reprising her role as Ava Vitali, before ultimately heading to “General Hospital” to play the aforementioned Kim Nero, a role which, in 2020, netted Braun her second-ever Emmy award for Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Daytime Drama Series: Actress. Braun again returned to “Days of our Lives” in 2020, continuing to appear as Ava off and on for several more years before finally exiting earlier this year, where she revealed she taped her final episodes in July 2024. During her most recent run on “Days of our Lives,” Braun received two additional Emmy nominations for her portrayal of Ava, one in 2021 for Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Daytime Drama Series: Actress and again in 2024 for Outstanding Lead Performance in a Daytime Drama Series: Actress. BTG: September 2025 Spoilers
Depends on when the person was cast. Meaning, did they cast them just before the Deadline interview and they already started filming, or did they cast them with the intent of them starting filming for Season 2? I have a few guesses, and I think I know who it will eventually be, but the details are important in terms of when the deal went down, so as to determine when we'll officially learn of the individual's debut date. For instance, we didn't know it at the time, but we caught a shot of Keith D. Robinson on set months before his casting was announced; we just didn't realize it at the time. I'm not sure that's the case here.

ARTICLE: Matthew Atkinson Back To ‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ – Find Out When To Watch
In early August, actor Matthew Atkinson shocked fans of “The Bold and the Beautiful” when he shared a clip on Instagram of himself at the former television home of the daytime drama series, Television City, seemingly confirming he would be reprising the role of Thomas Forrester on the soap. “Second time’s a charm,” said Atkinson in the caption of his post, which was posted on August 11, as he played a game of cornhole. Within hours of his post, Soap Opera Digest reported that the actor was indeed returning to Forrester Creations, stating that Atkinson would make his onscreen return sometime in early September. With the month fast approaching, we now know fans can expect to see him back on the show during the week of September 1-5, 2025. In a preview clip highlighting what’s to come on the half-hour series, Atkinson can first be seen as Thomas, entering the office of his mother, Taylor Hayes, saying, “Hi, mom!” as the two embrace. This marks the first time Atkinson will share the screen with Rebecca Budig, who took over the role of Taylor in August 2024 — Atkinson last appeared on the show as Thomas in July 2024, when the character announced his engagement to Paris Buckingham (Diamond White). In another scene from the aforementioned preview clip, a clearly annoyed Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) looks on as Thomas barges into her office at Forrester, warning his former stepmother not to think about getting herself involved again with his father, Ridge (Thorsten Kaye), telling the designer and chemist, “My dad is marrying my mom. Don’t do anything that comes between them ever again!” Of course, Brooke, being who she is, doesn’t take too kindly to the threat, especially after Ridge once again declared his love for her during their recent excursion in Italy, particularly as he saved her from a possibly dangerous outcome. A bemused Katie (Heather Tom) is also in the room when Thomas says what he has to say to Brooke. With “The Bold and the Beautiful” moving to Sunset Las Palmas Studios after more than 38 years at Television City, it’s unclear how long Atkinson’s return will last, considering he taped those initial scenes before the soap opera took a five-week summer hiatus in light of the show’s move from the Fairfax and Beverly Blvd in Los Angeles (Television City) to the Hollywood neighborhood of North Las Palmas Avenue and Santa Monica Blvd (Sunset Las Palmas Studios). Check out a clip of what’s to come on “The Bold and the Beautiful” below. ARTICLE: CTV Drama Channel Lands Linear Rights To ‘Beyond The Gates’ In Canada, Crave Grabs Streaming (Exclusive)
Canadian fans of “Beyond the Gates” will have a new way to catch up with what’s happening in Fairmont Crest following CHCH’s decision to pull the daytime drama series from its 2025-2026 schedule. In a statement released exclusively to Soap Opera Network, a representative for Paramount Global Content Distribution, which handles international distribution of the soap opera, noted that “Beyond the Gates” will be added to Canada’s CTV Drama Channel lineup, airing day and date with the show’s U.S. broadcast on CBS (2:00 p.m. ET), beginning Monday, September 8. Additionally, Crave has landed the exclusive streaming rights for “Beyond the Gates” in Canada, marking the first time the series will be available to watch outside of linear access, while also providing potential new fans an opportunity to check out the series for the first time as the show was previously limited to the Hamilton and surrounding Halton and Niagara regions during its CHCH run. “This will be the rollout for new episodes moving forward,” the Paramount rep said. According to a representative for Bell Media, which owns CTV and Crave, before new episodes begin airing on CTV Drama Channel, all past episodes of “Beyond the Gates” that have already aired will be available to stream on Crave beginning Monday, September 1, “giving Canadian fans a chance to catch up on any episodes they may have missed” before the show returns with new episodes Monday, September 8, now airing on CTV Drama Channel. The new episodes will be available to stream the next day on Crave beginning Tuesday, September 9. As previously reported, CHCH announced on Thursday that the network would not be carrying “Beyond the Gates” on its 2025-2026 schedule, although no specific reason for the change was cited at the time. After broadcasting 123 episodes of the soap opera, with the most recent airing on Friday, August 29, CHCH will replace the show with repeats of “The A-Team” starting Monday, September 1. In the U.S., CBS will once again air encores of “Beyond the Gates” in place of all-new episodes during the week of September 1-5. The decision comes as no surprise, considering episodes from Season 1, approximately 200 in total, are set to finish airing at the end of 2025 as Soap Opera Network exclusively reported last week. Renewed for a second season in May, production is set to begin in September for those episodes, which are scheduled to air in 2026. The encores scheduled to air during the week of September 1-5 on CBS surround Ted (then played by Maurice Johnson) and Nicole’s (Daphnée Duplaix) anniversary party. The decision comes as no surprise, considering episodes from Season 1, approximately 200 in total, are set to finish airing at the end of 2025 as Soap Opera Network exclusively reported last week. As of Friday, August 29, just 123 episodes of “Beyond the Gates” have aired. Renewed for a second season in May, production is set to begin in September for those episodes, which are scheduled to air in 2026. Like the network did when it aired a full week’s worth of encores during the week of June 30-July 4, 2025, which featured the first five episodes of the series, the next set of encores will also be connected, specifically those episodes surrounding Ted’s (then played by Maurice Johnson) and Nicole’s (Daphnée Duplaix) anniversary party. Maurice Johnson, Daphnée Duplaix Quantrell Colbert/CBS Originally broadcast in early May, though partially impacted by CBS’ commitment to airing UEFA Champions League Soccer, the episodes saw the revelation of Ted’s long ago affair with Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) that, unknowing to him, resulted in a child, who turned out to be Eva (Ambyr Michelle), the woman who intentionally inserted herself into his life with Nicole to get closer to him and get what she thought she and her mother deserved for him abandoning them. Quantrell Colbert/CBS By the fifth episode, Nicole felt betrayed by Ted and essentially saw her marriage collapse before her eyes. When original episodes of “Beyond the Gates” return on September 8, look for Joey (Jon Lindstrom) and Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) to get caught in the act by Vanessa’s husband, Doug (Jason Graham). Ironic, considering Joey admits to Vanessa in a clip that he has “no problem lying to Doug if it means bringing [her] to [him] where [she] belongs.” Meanwhile, Nicole sets Ted (now played by Keith D. Robinson) straight. Elsewhere, Eva comforts her momma Leslie, who sobbingly declares, “I’m not some low-class joke. I am somebody.” As the Duprees rush to save Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla), Kat (Colby Muhammad), Jacob (Jibre Hordges) and Madison (Kenjah) put their lives at risk. Will they get to Chelsea in time before Allison (Brianna Roberts) makes her next move, or will they find themselves permanently derailed? You’ll have to tune in to find out! Watch a clip from what’s to come on “Beyond the Gates” below. What follows is a breakdown of encore episodes set to air during the week of September 1-5, 2025. Monday, September 1 – Episode #045 (Encore) The Duprees kick off Ted and Nicole’s anniversary party, Eva tries one last time to keep her mother in check and Kat inches closer to unearthing the conspiracy that threatens to shatter the family’s big night. Tuesday, September 2 – Episode #046 (Encore) Ted and Nicole’s anniversary party is a night the family won’t soon forget, while Ashley and Derek juggle the messy realities of moving in together. Thursday, September 4 – Episode #048 (Encore) Nicole struggles with the fallout of Ted’s decades-old betrayal, and Bill’s covert role in burying Ted’s secret resurfaces—forcing each member of the Dupree and Hamilton families to reevaluate loyalties, question old bonds, and wonder if anything in their world remains secure. - ARTICLE: ‘The Young And The Restless’ Casts ‘General Hospital’ & ‘One Life To Live’ Alum Roger Howarth For Mystery Role
Roger Howarth, the Emmy award-winning actor who most recently portrayed the contract role of Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt on “General Hospital,” is joining the cast of “The Young and the Restless” for a “mystery role” that will bring him to Genoa City later this year. According to Deadline, which first reported the news, Haworth is set to begin taping episodes in mid-September at the Television City studio, where the soap opera is based in Hollywood, with his first scenes set to air in the fall. After the news broke, Howarth took to Instagram on Thursday, posting, “Excited and appreciative… I’m a lucky guy…,” while including a photo of himself that has him crossing his fingers. The letters “R” and “Y” were inserted into the image, though their meaning wasn't explicitly clear; their intent is likely as a reverse "Y&R." Roger Howarth @therealrogerhowarth/Instagram Howarth first joined the cast of “General Hospital” in March 2012 when he took his iconic “One Life to Live” character, Todd Manning, from Llanview to Port Charles. Following a dispute between ABC and Prospect Park Networks (“PPN”), which at the time had licensed the “One Life to Live” characters in the hopes of launching an online reboot of the soap opera along with sister soap “All My Children,” ABC was forced to create new characters for Howarth and other actors who had migrated to the long-running soap opera. By February 2013, plans for the online reboot were taking shape, and in March 2013, Todd, Starr Manning (Kirsten Alderson) and John McBain (Michael Easton) seemingly disappeared from Port Charles overnight due to the dispute between ABC and PPN. In May 2013, Howarth took over the role of Franco Baldwin, a character first created by actor James Franco in 2009 as part of an exhibit he was working on for The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (MOCA), who at the time was a crazy art dealer that terrorized Port Charles until he was later redeemed via an excuse of having a brain tumor when Howarth stepped into the role. After Franco was killed off in 2021, the show decided to keep Howarth as part of the cast by having him portray the newly created role of Dr. Austin Gatlin-Holt, who was part of the Quartermaine family through his parents, Jimmy Lee Holt and Charity Gatlin, with his paternal grandparents being George and Ida Quartermaine. Austin was killed off in the Friday, November 17, 2023 episode of “General Hospital” when the character was shot in a cliffhanger that went unsolved for more than a year, with it finally being revealed earlier this year that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) killed him. “Still life with coffee and rabbit ears. Three things that I know for sure…,” Haworth noted in an Instagram post at the time, confirming his exit from “General Hospital” while revealing the network reportedly declined to offer him a new contract, with his exit “storyline-dictated.” “Daytime fans are lovely and amazing and supportive and dedicated and I am deeply grateful to each sparkly one of them,” said Howarth in the first bullet point of three. “I enjoyed my time at ‘General Hospital’ and wish the cast and crew the best and continued success. It was a pleasure working with you all,” he added in bullet two, and finally, for bullet three, he said, “Life is amazing. We just don’t Ever know what’s gonna happen. How great!” The third point was proven true on Thursday as the actor had not expected to see himself back in daytime, what with just four soaps on the air at the time he made the statement – there are now five soap operas as of 2025 with the addition of “Beyond the Gates.” Haworth’s casting at “The Young and the Restless” marks a return for the actor to CBS, where he spent nearly a decade portraying Paul Ryan on “As The World Turns” and previously portrayed the short-term role of Jory on “Guiding Light” in 1992. Following the soap’s cancellation in 2010, Haworth returned to “One Life to Live” to reprise the role of Todd Manning, where he previously appeared off and on from 1993-2003. In 1994, Haworth won his first Emmy award for his portrayal of the Lord heir, taking home the golden statue in the category of Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series. He received his second nomination in 1995, this time in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series category. During his run on “As The World Turns,” Haworth received two additional Emmy nominations, this time in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series category (2004, 2005). Haworth first made a name for himself in daytime when he made his debut as Kent Winslow on “Loving.” His other credits include appearances in episodes of “Diagnosis Murder,” “Prey,” “Dawson’s Creek” and “The Flash,” among others. The news of Howarth’s casting comes just days after the soap opera announced that Tamara Braun (“General Hospital,” “Days of our Lives”) would also be joining the series, playing the role of Sienna Bacall, who is said to have “personal connections to several characters” in Genoa City.
