That said, the rest...Sonny and Carly, Nem/Scary Nanny...was mercifully brief. But...baby John is now Spencer Cassadine?! And Nikolas rejects Stefan as a name (suggested by Colleen) because EMILY was less than thrilled?! Stefan must be rolling in his grave.

On a good note, Tristan and Finola still sparkle together.

And good for GH for having Stuart Damon play a role in the HIV story, especially as he was so integral to Stone's story.

Now, if we can just get poor John J. York (Mac) involved, everything would be as perfect as can be.

The docks are THE happening place, don'tcha know? Trouble is, yeah...everyone spills their plans there and then later expect them to work, only to always fail miserably. So, wouldn't it be better to not spill them IN PUBLIC? LOL!

Aww, I liked Spencer Cassadine; Nikolas has always tried to include his brother and sister in his life, more so sometimes than they include him. Plus, I got the impression he had that name in mind the whole time, and was just humoring everyone else's suggestions...

LOVED the Scorpio family scenes all around. I like that they're highlighting Robin's fears about Stone and his death in this story; I didn't expect that, I thought it would be about HER status only (and Patrick's). It's a nice nod to history, particularly that Anna and Robert weren't there (except as ghosts, which we know now wasn't possible). They're actually playing beats of the Stone story that didn't get played out then. That's a nice touch.

But what the heck is wrong with Anna's upper lip? Did she Botox it? It's frozen and disconcerting...

I like that Nikolas is renaming John, Spencer. Not only does it involve Lucky and Lulu, buts its sort of a nod to Laura who was a Spencer because of Luke. But Colleen, the Psycho Nanny, is so freaking creepy, its sad that we see more of her than we do Helena. I get that Colleen is Helena's spy, but the fact that she has this creepy crush on Nikolas is all the more weird.

Now, im not sure how everyone feels, but at the beginning of the Sonny/Bi-polar story I was into it, but now he is such a stupid ass. How many times does he need to be told that he has to keep going to therapy and that the medicine has to be adjusted to the right fit to truly work for him. I can't stand him right now, he is such a stubborn ass, yes i feel bad for the character, he will have to stay on the medicine the rest of his life, but get over it, thats like and alcoholic saying that just because theyve gone a couple of weeks without drinking its ok to have a drink every now and then. It just doesnt work like that.

I was too young to remember the Scorpio family and when Stone died i was in grade school so i was typically in daycare or still in school when GH was on, so i never really saw how that story was played out, but i think just the fact that they are making nods to it is a great thing. I have seen some of the clips on youtube and those scenes were amazingly done and very emotional, i can honestly say that when i watched the scene where stone died and Sonny, Brenda, Felicia, Mac, Robin and Lily were in the room with Stone all saying goodbye, I had a tear in my eye. And now GH is actually making me feel for Patrick and the inner turmoil that Robin is going through. I also love how Anna and Robert are there to help Robin out this time around and that they are actually acknowledging that they are family, which tends to be ignored all around on GH.

In my opinion, today was a very good show.

As for Spencer Cassadine... WTF??? Named after Luke's family? Yes, Nik loves Lulu and Lucky, but would he really take Luke's last name and give it to his son? I don't think so. Stefan makes so much more sense.

It makes perfect sense for Nikolas to name the baby Spencer Cassadine. It allows the baby to know he's connected to Lucky and Lulu as well as Nikolas. The child's last name is Cassadine so it's not like his lineage is completely forgotten.

Besides, it's orginal. What if Stefan were to come back (which is not impossible)? There would be two Stefan Cassadines?!

That was a smart move on the writers' part.

Nanny Eyebrows is on my last nerve, as well. I hope she fumbles miserably so Helena offs the wench.

Spencer is an excellent name. Nikolas and Emily are so amazing together. I'm glad I can finally enjoy Emily again, because Natalia is a great actress, great person too.

I get that Spencer does not fit the Russian/Greek Heritage that Nikolas comes from but Nikolas named him that because its his way of bringing his two families together. He pointed out that this was the thing that would signify the end of the Spencer/Cassadine War. I still think it was a good idea.

Robert and Anna are my first couple devotion. I think they still got it. I would love to see them get together again. They are now and will always be soulmates.

I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed Stuart Damon/Alan Q with Robin today. My heart stayed in my throat the entire time they spoke. I remember how wonderful Alan was to Robin when she tested positive and it remains in my heart to this day. When Alan really screws up with Monica or with Jason, I can remember those times and remember what a truly remarkable heart Alan really has. Alan is a truly integral part of this show and his history is tragically underused. I liked his remarks about his own battle with prescription drugs the other day too. Alan and Robin's father figure/daughter relationship is wonderful!

I was also beginning to wonder if I was the only person that notices how crazy it is that we aren't seeing Mac and Robin toether more during this. I understand Mac giving Robert and Anna a chance to be there for Robin but couldn't we at least get a scene where Mac tells her that he is always there for her and that he is trying to give Robert and Anna a chance to be the parents she always needed. They could reassure each other about how important they are to each other. And while we are on the subject of Mac, can we get a little realization from Mac that Felicia's daughter and the girl he raised, Maxie, is a loose cannon? Can we see him at least TRY to help her through whatever it is that makes her the baddest bad girl in town next to Helena???

Spencer is an English name that means "keeper of provisions". That is my son's name...hehe.

Of all the stupid things GH has done of the years, naming the newest Cassadine Spencer ain't really one of them. Sorry.
