I have to agree, Casey. I used to hate Mimi for her abortion and all that followed but now I'm just LOVING how she's become daytime's NUMBER ONE whipping post! No, Belle is not carrying her and Shawn's baby. Did everyone forget that the glove returned the petrie dishes back AFTER the implantation. So..............Belle is implanted with the Mimi/Philip baby.

The gloved one did switch it back after implantation. WHY because he knew that someone would discover the error and force a DNA test to be made. This is exactly what happened. The doctor told the couples that it was possible that each couple was implanted with the wrong baby and that is why he was running a test to make the determination. He also told the couples that they (the hospital) was not sure when the mix up happened.

The techs ran the test and saw that Belle was implanted with her own egg. Then the tech actually saw that the DNA of the sperm was wrong. He ran the test to show that Belle is carrying Shawn's kid.

The doctor told the couples that the each woman is carrying to correct egg and that the SPERM was mixed up

I thought that today's episode cleared this up IMO.

Well, as I said in the Raining Babies thread, I think Patrick and Bo as possibilities for the dad each had their own pro's and con's. I am foreseeing a lot of Patty/Hope scenes, and I foresee a lot of fast forwarding - which is a pro.

If Belle is carrying her child then the black hand did something they didn't show (like switch the petri covers again). Maybe we thought it was a flash back when really it was new?

Step 1) Switch petri dish lids. Belle's egg say's Mimi's and vice versa

Step 2) Sperm added to eggs per petri dish lid

Step 3) Missing - (petri dish lids switched back)

Step 4) Eggs implanted according to petri dish lid

Step 5) Switch petri dish locations so that lid does not match tray which causes nurses to notice

This is my last response on this. There is no such thing as a type of rape. You are either raped or not, you are either dead or not. There is no degree or type of rape BUT rape. A rape is a violation, but NOT all violations are rapes.

This actually brings up an interesting discussion because remember when the evil Virginia impregnated Vanessa with Tyus' sperm on "Sunset Beach?" Nice Billie and Austin scenes..I really enjoy Billie so much more when she is away from Bope..Julie Pinson has great chemistry with so many other actors...Matt A, Austin Peck, Lauren Koslow, and Rachel Melvin to name a few...

Pretty good show all around..I'm actually finally enjoying shawn, mimi, belle, and phillip again..this story is interesting..and Mimi is getting exactly what she deserves...Also i'm happy that Kyle B and Martha are finally getting some good material....I'm excited at the idea of Phillip acting more like his father..

No it did not clear that up. The glove switched the dishes or vials back so no one would know there was anything amiss. When the techs did their work, they discovered that the eggs were fertilized with the wrong sperm, but they do NOT KNOW that Belle's egg was implanted into the surrogate BECAUSE the dishes were in the right place....so as far as anyone right now on the story knows except for the fans and the glove, is that Belle got her egg fertilized with Shawn's sperm....when in reality she has Mimi's egg and Philips sperm embryo and the surrogate got Belle/Shawn embryo.

Here is my thinking now.

Remember the surrogate got into a little fender bender and called in she was going to be late. What if that little fender bender actually was an interruption on the part of the mastermind of this glove mystery, telling her that she was no longer needed and sent home so he/she could insert his/her own person to receive the Belle/Shawn egg. Then no one knows this except us and the glove that Lauren has that embryo and she disappears with it.

I believe the real story is just beginning. It will be Shawn and Belle searching for their embryo and the surrogate.

ANOTHER THING: Philip is correct in being ready to sue the institution and I do believe he has grounds to request that the embryo be aborted due to he did not give his consent and he does not have to share his sperm with a woman he does not want to. I think that would be interesting, too....but apparently he isn't going to be around long enough to play that out.

I didn't say that the story was over, I said that the switching and who has what baby was clear (apparently only to me ). What is not over is Shawn and Belle not knowing the Claire is their baby; Shawn not knowing that Mimi lied; and who knows what is going to happen to Philip.

Oh this is one of my favorite topics, what a horrible character Mimi is and how bad Shimi are. I absolutely adored today's scenes because after all her lies and manipulations, Shelle are going to have a baby and this time, Shawn knows about it, so all of that for nothing. I love watching Mimi implode!

I agree, and it pains me to do so that KB has gotten so much better but a lot of that has to do with the fact they are finally giving him some character.
