I've never understood why this show has not tried Abby and Max together.

Could it be Ashley Benson's age of 15 that she can't do a love scene? Besides, the writers could just bring them along slowly. Ashley is such a lovely girl and has handled all of her scenes extremely well.

I'd just like to see more of her and have Abby with a likable character like Max. I've never really been sold on Rachel Melvin.

I agree that Salem does need some new blood in it.

This was always disgusting to me from the start. I mean I consider Max to be an actual Brady because he acts like he is and adopted meas hei s a Brad even though he isn't realted to them and it is disgusting that he dates his niece. And I remember when Cassie was going after Shawn, that was DISGUSTING once we found out she was a Brady. Days needs some new families.

Rachel has gotten better, but I think Abby would be a better match for Max, personality wise. It could be that because of Ashley's age, the show doesn't want to pursue a frontburner romance for her...however, we haven't seen the guy that plays her boyfriend Josh for a bit, and Abby's lines about him yesterday could be some foreshadowing that maybe down the road, Abby will get somebody else. Anyway, I enjoy watching Ashley more than Rachel, and I hope the show uses her talents more. The writers seem to have an endless hard-on for the Bradys while kicking the Hortons aside.

Abby does great with Josh. She chose him for herself. Max is not related by blood to anyone in Salem. He is a very eligible bachelor. Even though he was adopted, he was not an infant and had a life before Salem that he probably can remember (I don't recall if he had amnesia or not). There is no way on earth his relationship with Chelsea or Stephanie is not legal and acceptable. Do a google and learn that 25% of the worlds married people are related to each other. Many members of royalty are married to cousins, for instance Queen Elizabeth of England. Some of the happiest married people are those who are related. Now, real incest such as father and daughter or brother and sister, that is a problem or could be and especially if a pregnancy occurs. That is the reason for taboo of incest. It's the gene pool. Past 1st cousins, it is acceptable. There is no honest reason to be upset for 2nd cousins marrying except for individual phobia which needs to be questioned. Why do you feel that way? These are my views and you can do the research.

I wonder who Will will be coupled with, I think he is basically related to everyone.

He is related to the Brady's, Horton's, Robert's, Black's

Maybe he will become a couple with Connor or Bonnie.

Doing a Chelsea/Max/Stephanie triangle is predictable and boring. Yes, the near-incest does play a role. Some of us find people going after a relative by adoption is icky. There's nothing wrong with feeling like that. You're making more out of this than it's needed. Just accept the fact some of us on the board think Max/Abby would be cute and more interesting.

Instead of bringing on completely new families, they should bring on people related to people who were once on the show. That way, they might not have a familial connection but there'll be a historical connection. DAYS has such a rich history that it really shouldn't be too hard.

That's a good idea and one a lot of fans have already been hoping for.

I've been thinking Max was Chelsea and Stephanie's cousin.......but he is their uncle, not by blood of course but still the relationship of niece and uncle. Adopted non-blood half niece and adopted non-blood uncle for Max and Chelsea. non-blood niece and adopted non-blood uncle for Stephanie. I'd like to see a study on these relationships. My personal "feeling" is that Chelsea and Max have a special bond just by the fact they both were adopted. Then the fact that they met for the first time when they were young adults puts the familial situation further away. To me, it's OK, but maybe they should just turn into best buds instead. If they married, their kids would be unaffected by the relationship as far as passing on weakest gene in the same gene pool goes though.

Max/Chelsea doesn't bother me probably because I still don't think of her as his neice because she has not been here that long and I always wondered if she is really Bo and Billie's daughter.

Max/Stephanie I get bothered because Stephanie is a character built into the history of the show and one of its most popular supercouples so I guess that is why it bugs me. Chelsea has no history on the show and is not the child of a supercouple so that is a difference to me.

Max thinks of himself as a Brady so it is bothersome but with Chelsea I don't mind it strangely. Maybe because I have accepted it I guess. I mean Max was around when Steve/Kayla were on the show and Stephanie was born so it is kinda creepy. Days needs new blood and I hope that EJ may be the start of that but introducing a new family may be hard with the budget cuts and all and fans are already mad that they are losing Matt Ashford. If they lose them and get newbies or a new family, they will be really pissed.

I am pretty sure Benson's age is the reason why Days doesn't do Max/Abby. There is no other reason why they wouldn't-the drama is there with Chelsea/Max/Abby so that is the only logical reason why Days has not gone there yet.

Even though it is kinda creepy I don't have a problem with Max/Chelsea or Max/Stephanie. They are not blood relatives, don't consider each other as family even though Max considers himself a Brady and it could be creepier like the writers pairing characters related by blood like some other soaps are doing (kissing cousins related through blood is becoming a popular trend with soap writers)
