I'm pretty sure he used that circuitry line in BB2, at least once. I had a deja vu feeling when he said it tonight.

And wasn't it almost surreal to see all of these people back in the house? It felt so weird! Like it wasn't real at all.

God ... 10 minutes until the live feeds begin!!!!!

Chicken George being voted in over Monica is a SIN. A sin, I tell you!!!!!

I did laugh hysterically when he fell of the pedestal and landed on his huge ass.

-I *so* don't want Danielle to go home already! We NEED her pot stirring way to keep things interested.

SHE was the one who got the game going and made tonight's episode so enjoyable.

-STFU Will!!!! Ewwwww... shaved pits!

-WHY is Mike Boogie there? Hate.

-JASE instead of Ivette?

I agree. I really could have done without George or Mike and thrown in a Monica or a Dana! BOO!

I am grateful no Lisa, Cowboy, or Bunky though. THANK GOD!

Oh, something else cool. I was at the Jersey Shore this week. And on the 4th, the local CBS affiliate ran a plane message about BB:AS over the ocean. It was cool!

Picking Chicken George and Mike fricking Boogie over Monica and Dana was EXTREMELY silly! I hate Dana, but she is more interesting than the dull as rocks Erika. I think a major problem is that America shocked them by voting in Erika and Diane.

For me, the balance is off, the chemistry isn't there. I found the premiere to be a little boring overall. I just can't understand how they thought CHICKEN GEORGE was more interesting than IT'S AWNICA!

Will all but admitted he's the reason Boogie made it on. Frankly, Boogie over Monica is just WRONG. I also felt bad for Lisa. I love Erika, I do, and it warms my heart she's with Janelle and the BB6 crew ... but Lisa kinda deserved a spot. Riding coattails or not ...

I'm still in shock that JASE was voted in by America. I really find that HARD to believe.

It was obvious that all of the America choices were from the the last three seasons (BB4, BB5 & BB6). No one from earlier seasons were picked by America. Shows that America has short attention spans. And really, it was mostly all of BB5 and BB6 picked by America. Only Ivette and Cowboy were rightfully shut out.

I understand the producers picking George, but [!@#$%^&*] Boogie? Over Monica! (Yes, I'm repeating myself). I'm still infuriated at that.

And call me crazy, but I actually like Jase this year.

And WOOT! 1400 posts!!!

I wouldnt put much faith in America's votes, bc of all the auto voters over the net. Plus its expected that more viewers would pick from the latter seasons as I dont think most fans have seen all seasons, hence they'd pick who they are familiar with.

As for George, he's only in there so the show can say they had someone from all 6 seasons. He's boring and I can see him lasting a long time bc he's not a threat at all.

I love Boogie and glad he's in but I would have sacrificed him for Monica. He is only there bc of Will bc they have a strong alliance and played off each other well as Chill Town.

Erika is boring and looks horrible. Why she is in, I have no idea. The show should have lied and said that someone else was America's choice. Who knows, they probably did, but I wish it werent her

    • The actor who plays Martin has been teasing that nobody has guessed Martin's secret. I love that for things like that and the June story we have no idea. I feel like if we didn't have the day ahead feeds Anita's reveal would've been shocking as well. I love that they aren't going the obvious route with these stories.
    • I tried following the news in Los Angeles at https://laist.com (independent public radio and news) They had up-to-the minute accurate info during the wildfires in January. There's no video, no impact to my mind as to what's happening. Trying other outlets, to get the truth, but it's hard.
    • That's a bit murky since that happened during a writers' strike. Assuming Kristen Marie had a 2-year contract she left about when her contract would have expired and Sharlene and Josie showed up right before that. Lemay was officially credited as HW from September 1988 but it seems very probable that his anticipated tenure influenced events that happened during the strike which started in April.
    • I've seen so many posters over the years who are bright, creative, well-versed in soap history, and who care deeply about the integrity of the genre. I'd put the shows' chances in their hands a lot faster than I would allow any of the "usual suspects" to take control of the dramas they've already helped decimate. When I returned to university in the 1980s, I created a bible for a new soap and presented it in my screenwriting class. It was in reaction to how badly I saw the network shows being butchered at the time. The creative process was thrilling; a total joy, and I still smile when I remember the positive feedback I received from the professor and my fellow students. I was used to seeing written commentary from professors on my work. This one wrote me a long, complimentary note on the final page of the bible, but also graded it 97%, A+. I was beaming ear to ear for days!

    • Thanks. I do wonder if Rose was meant to be more given the caliber of actress they hired. I remembered Sara and Peggy staying longer as they were still on when Soapnet started their repeats. I wonder if that was part of the reason they brought Jake's brother in.
    • Speculation about Missy Reeves' potential evolution on basic civil rights doesn’t change my opinion of her. My view is shaped entirely by her public social media presence—which I find unpalatable—and I have no interest in learning more beyond that. I simply liked Jennifer’s hair and dress. That’s as far as my admiration goes.

    • Cheryl was gone before Lemay came back but I agree with your thinking that he would rather a character from a family he introduced to the show than a family he did not originate.  I remember reading somewhere in the early 90's probably after DS left as writer, their was an either a writer or a producer who made a comment that their intent was bring the McKinnon family back to AW.  Would have made sense for the newer viewers from the 80's.  Much like Lemay's attempt to bring the Frames back from his writing in the 70's in his 1988 return
    • DePriest left in January 1988. According to the AWHP, Rose last appeared nearly a year before in February 1987 while both Sara and Peggy appeared as late as October 1987.
    • Annie was not brought in as an antagonist for Reva. Reva wasn’t even on the canvas when Annie first appeared in late 1994.
    • The speculation……….very entertaining.
