I see a lot of comments about Sharon’s face, her seeming “loopy”. I personally think it’s the actress checking out from this awful material but I guess we’ll see how she is with better writing and I’ll be willing to make up my mind then..

It does kind of go along with the idea that Sharon Newman herself is supposed to be heavily medicated right now with her bipolar disorder though right? 🤭

Even her voice seems to be affected. Sometimes it sounds like she's having trouble getting words out of her mouth, and her lips sometimes get distorted as she is speaking.

This has to be "Stall before the new writers arrive" time, right?

Because all of this is garbage.

-- Audra and Chelsea spending all this time together is insane. Would not happen. And why isn't Chelsea ever at home with her kid?

-- And why isn't Victoria ever at home with her kids? She spends her days in coffee shops and texting her boy toy.

-- Lauren crying over sick Jill? YAWN. WHO CARES? It's all meaningless off screen bullshlt.

-- Speaking of YAWN, so is Sally's baby. I do not care. I do wonder why she's ok with this parade of people arriving with their germs to see Ruby.

Saddling Billy and Sally with a child is a burden for the characters, especially Ruby is going to be constantly offscreen .

Already Dominic, Harrison, Aria, Connor. Christian, Johnny and Katie are seldom seen and their parents are busy running companies, socializing etc.

Who exactly is looking after Harrison while Kyle heads off to London?

I guess the whole 'Jill is dying' thing is just another way to fill in airtime. In a few weeks she will be on the way to recovery. All offscreen of course.

Yeah I think I’m tuning out for now. Forgetting about it for a couple weeks might help the time go by faster because I intend to start watching very closely after November 11th. 😂 I’ll watch clips and read recaps but otherwise I really don’t care what happens between now and the new writing.

Viewers who have been enduring the show lately don't want to sit through that dreck again, and viewers who have abandoned the show were driven away in the first place because of that 💩.

I’m off work today so I’m actually watching it right now. It’s episodes starting from around October 2022-2024 some time. It starts off with Kyle and Summers vow renewal & Tucker returning. Basically it’s in the thick of Josh Griffiths writing. I wasn’t watching during these years so I’m doing a little catch up and just skimming through the episodes. Hopefully they add more (older) seasons but I won’t get my hopes up for that.

It's so great that Sally lost all her baby weight in two days.

Quite liked the London set. For once the bed wasn't sitting there on display.The corridor gave the impression of a larger space. However, as usual some of the set decor looked cheap and inappropriate.

Speaking of such, I am always distracted by that octopus print in Billy's place. Don't know why anybody would have that. Looked online and it's yours for $35!

We will see Matt Clark again? A few weeks away for 'therapy' and he's ready to return? Hope not. I don't care if he's popular online and they love him at the show.

And what's happening with Holden?

-- Why didn't Kyle hide in the bedroom or bathroom instead of going outside? Made no sense.

-- Billy goes overseas to see his mother and spends his time alone and on his phone.

-- We were told at least twice that Sally is not alone because Coco and Grams are still around. Of course, there's no budget for them.

-- Watching Adam pine over Sally and her baby is painful.

And in a huge city like London Billy and Cane end up in the same pub.

At least most of this can be (hopefully) forgotten/rewritten by the new team.

I sure as hell hope the new writers don't use this material as a starting point, because it's all terrible.

I would rather have shock and awe where we get massive changes and a 180 all over the place -- a complete reset.

There's more to come with Phyllis vowing to destroy Newman Enterprises. How many times can they recycle that only to have it peter out and come to nothing?

Why not send the characters in new directions? I might tolerate Phyllis somewhat if she showed some growth.

As for Devon's college WTAF? We're never going to see it so why bother? And announcing Traci and Daniel might lecture-don't you need actual qualifications to do that? Maybe Sharon can have a class on kidnapping survival techniques.

Some things do need a total reset while other stuff can be tidied up quickly.

Not sure what can happen with Nate if he returns to medicine -no set or characters to interact with.

I'm so over them sitting in cafes talking about stuff we never see.

-- I agree that Phyllis wanting to destroy Newman is beyond tired. I hope the new writers had no hand in this.

-- Eric Braeden is getting worse. He struggled with his lines today more than ever.

-- Everything about this London trip is awful. For every character.

-- Sally has her baby 5 minutes ago and is already in a panic that Billy is going off the rails.
