I can't be the only one who's tired of Valentin running to hide behind corners and doors at Carly's. It's beyond laughable at this point.

I kind of like it LOL. I really am digging this couple. I know I'm probably not supposed to, but I don't have their history. They just have great chemistry.

Alexa Havins was really strong today.

Maurice made me LOL, sitting in his chair when Lucas was telling them about the French gay guy having a thing for Marco.

I can't wait for tomorrow!

The show’s current biggest structural issue—how to fulfill Mo’s guarantees while working within his current limited capabilities—was on full display during these scenes. Sonny had 1 line for every 10 that Laura and Lucas had, and the rest of the time he looked like he was nodding off in that big chair.

Yep.

Lucas went to the PCPD and told him about the investigation into Marco's murder.

Laughable and insufferable

There is a big issue with Sonny/MB. At this point he could all but disappear and it wouldn't matter. He's not driving any story, he has no real pairing, and he's a talk to for characters that could be talking to someone else.

I am under no illusion that the show will fire MB nor do I even want that. The show needs to figure out what to do with him and @Vee and I have the Brenda plan if they need help lol. It's getting embarrassing for him and me as a viewer and Sonny fan to watch him like this.

You mean, you don't buy ADA Turner (a.k.a. another 'Brenda clone') being Sonny's true love? Why not? You should! D'uh!

But no, in all seriousness, I know exiting Maurice Benard as Sonny would be a shift and likely have some kind of backlash, but it is something that is overdue. It should have happened when Sonny was in jail with Ava and Julian. That should have been the exit strategy; it's clear he won't play certain storylines and pushes back (and, IMHO, he is not one of those actors who have earned that right).

I understand how much MB needs to work for the sake of his overall well-being, but there comes a point where you gotta admit to yourself that you're just too exhausted and need to take a break. And that's what I want MB to do: take a break, work on getting himself back into (mental and physical) shape and then, after consulting with the right people, decide on whether he's up to returning to the show. If nothing else, maybe he could segue into becoming an acting career, helping aspiring actors learn their craft. I think he'd be great at that.

It's painful to watch Maurice Benard mumble and sleepwalk through his scenes. GH should pull up a Brink to Vanessa Marcil's home and write a half-decent exit for Sonny, with Brenda ushering him out of Port Charles. Her last few returns have been disappointing (for so many reasons), and I don't expect much from this writing team, but even they could produce something halfway decent.

Veterans shouldn't be put out to pasture, but I expect more of them. MB hasn't wowed and impressed me in years and he comes off like someone's grandfather.

MB could retire from acting and mentor. He can be fulfilled without us having to endure Weekend at Bernie's with him on GH.
