Martin is a verbally abusive piece of crap... the show might have forgotten the gas lighting and sabotage he tried to do to Smitty at the start of the show, but I haven't forgotten that. I wish the tree had killed his character.

He was very OTT when Samantha almost had sex, too (while being a bro with Tyrell). He was practically ready to kick her out of the house or banish her to her room. And at Kat for just talking about sex, even though Kat is actually pretty chaste.

I will never stop beating the drum of what a horrible, off-putting, and irrelevant character Ashley is, and what a boring actress Jen Jacob is (she can’t rise above the horrible writing for her charac

MVJ definitely needs to slow down with her unwarranted fascination with Jon Lindstrom - the character is awfully written, but there is nothing interesting about Lindstrom’s performance either. Frankly

I personally don't think that disliking White Savior Joey is an indication the character is working. If it's a choice between King Joey and Duprees Strong, I choose neither.

Bill is the type that starts negging his wife to deflect that HE just had an affair.

I picked up on that, too, and rolled my eyes.

That's an example of holding Kat accountable? For what? Being traumatized after seeing someone nearly die before help came? He didn't give her five seconds before calling her selfish. Kat hasn't made this all about herself (unlike Leslie) and she's not willing to blindly jump into a situation uninformed (or play martyr, for that matter). If he had seen her moment with Leslie, he would've shut his mouth.

No one is obligated to undergo testing, even for family.

She piped up when Martin wanted to get tested seemingly not wanting him to do it so it seems clear that Kat doesn't want a Dupree helping Eva. She is under no obligation to get tested, but let's not forget that she berated Eva in the stairwell until she saw she was bleeding and that was horrible. Granted, Martin doesn't know that, but he does know that she wished Eva dead.

Definitely agree here. I'm not always Team Kat, especially when it comes to Eva vs. Kat, but Kat is not obligated to make a big decision like that on a whim or emotion. She's already traumatized and emotional, whatever Martin thought he was doing didn't help. I'm curious to see how tomorrow goes as she's hopefully given time to think through it.

I don't find that clear at all. Martin had just been hospitalized himself, and while he tried to claim he was "released", Smitty told them that the doctor wanted to keep Martin in overnight. Kat thought of Andre as a potential match and called him (not knowing whatever medication would keep him from the testing). She didn't blink twice when Ted got tested. Those aren't the actions of someone who's wishing Eva ill.

It's one thing to snipe at a person you aren't willing to accept as family because of biology. It's another to actively wish them dead. Even after you've wished they'd never been born.

I'm wondering if we're going to get a late-in-life pregnancy with Dani and a "who's the daddy" story?

Of course, there's no way Dani looks like she could be the mom of a 30 year old. Just like Nicole and Ted look like Martin's siblings. Especially, Ted. I've never bought him as Martin's father. They look the same age!

I wish there was a strong Tomas that could be part of a Eva/Kat/Isiah/Tomas triangle. I feel like it's a missing piece of the puzzle.

Hayley all about the come up in the vein of Brenda Dickson original recipe Jill Foster, and also Brooke Logan.

And, what happened with Hayley's plan to kill Bill? It's like it completely disappeared! At this point, I don't know what her long game is here. Is she trying to just stay Bill's wife? I really got excited when it was revealed that she wasn't playing him, but then it went....nowhere.

As for Martin's behavior when it comes to keeping his children chaste, I can't help but see it as ironic in that, notwithstanding that it's now widely acceptable and legal, he is doing with another man that which for time immemorial was deemed "abominable," and still is to many. But heteronormative teenagers who are nearly grown and coming into their own must be monitored if not kept apart. Would he stop them if they were gay? Then, it would be about living one's 'truth' and about 'freedom,' but straight youth can ruin their lives, education and career opportunities, by having babies! Horrors!

BC has improved in his performance but I still think he only has one gear and that's anger, which is the easiest emotion to portray. Still, at least he emotes, unlike AA.

I think Martin was too quick to condemn Kat. There needed to be more time before he took that stance.

But to me Martin/Smitty are always holier than thou in their interactions with others. The dull Gays.

Protecting teenagers from unplanned pregnancies isn't a 'heteronormative' double standard; it's just Parenting 101. Trying to link Martin's adult relationship to his rules for his teenagers is a massive stretch. If a straight dad set the exact same boundaries for his kids, no one would bat an eye—holding Martin to a different standard just because he's gay is the real irony here.

It would be funny if Hayley crossed over to Y&R to go after Kyle, gets busted by everyone in town, and then heads to LA and ends up on B&B. She could arrive in town married to Thomas.

That would be something. I would watch that.

I wonder if spinning Hayley off onto another show is the plan. After all, if she EVENTUALLY does try to kill Bill it paints her into a corner on BTG.
