Trisha did the damn thing today. Colby too.

I really feel like Kat isn't going to be a match outside of her reluctantly wanting to be anyway and that's when Joey is going to ask Heather to find to find an organ donor or an organ that will match Eva.

He mentioned today that Izaiah is one of the few people he cares about and although he isn't crazy about Leslie he's definitely gonna do it for Izaiah.

I feel like this gives us the drama and then a solution.

If Joey is the savior who saves Eva, I am going to scream bloody murder. You think I've been unhappy with the white guy hero to this point? Just wait.

Is Martin running unopposed? Did I somehow miss the name of his opponent? For some reason, I just cannot take his campaign seriously.

He's not unopposed, but no opponent has been mentioned.

It's all pretty shaky, but I'll let this slide, even though a sitting member of Congress would have very little trouble winning a primary unless he,/she was severely compromised.

If they do this for the general election, it'll again be shaky, because the chances of someone (a republican) defeating Martin would be slim to none unless Martin's sins are exposed.

I will never stop beating the drum of what a horrible, off-putting, and irrelevant character Ashley is, and what a boring actress Jen Jacob is (she can’t rise above the horrible writing for her charac

MVJ definitely needs to slow down with her unwarranted fascination with Jon Lindstrom - the character is awfully written, but there is nothing interesting about Lindstrom’s performance either. Frankly

I personally don't think that disliking White Savior Joey is an indication the character is working. If it's a choice between King Joey and Duprees Strong, I choose neither.

Very. But at least your reasoning has always made sense and be constructive. :)

I agree. I dont always agree but I respect the fact that there is always well said reasoning behind it.

There was a screenshot on the web ( Ill look to see if I can find ) it that said his opponent's name was Emily. I thought initially that was who Ashley Jones was playing. Not sure if the role has been cast or when we will see her though

Should I laugh at this? Or do I bother you so much that I'm like a bad rash that reappears? 😂

As do I. I can understand the character being picked on (same for Vanessa as well) this year because they have both been horrible and well...poorly written. Definitely deserving of a comeuppance that isn't coming soon enough.

The first year, both characters had the best paced of the B stories...heck one of the best stories last year. It felt organic and then the plotlines converged. That was back when there was gray to Vanessa's character which made it more engrossing. So engrossing was Doug/Vanessa/Joey, I didn't notice the optics until it was pointed out. It has been great food for thought beyond people hating Joey simply due to the mob aesthetic or how JL played him.

Great show today, although I wouldn't have missed Joey and Vanessa. It was great seeing Deanna. She had me cracking up with the "crusty rubber ducky" comment.

I came here just to comment on this very remark.😂 If only they would write for this character, outside of her trifling mother and unconvincing geriatric wannabe gangster boyfriend.

Oh yes, Deanna on FaceTime and that line was a highlight today, and the episode was full of those.

Eva needing a liver transplant is a twist I didn't see coming. I thought with all the bleeding and what we saw of Kat in the coming attractions, she would need a transfusion. I was prepared to roll my eyes at Kat not wanting to donate blood, like when she didn't want to get genetic testing. This would be a much more significant sacrifice.

More amazing acting today.

I'm fascinated to see what they are going to do set-wise while the club is out of commission.

Two small quibbles about hospital protocol... How did Martin get a room so quickly? Dupree connections? And why were Dana/Leslie and Izaiah hanging out in an empty, private room - during a natural disaster, no less? They were mostly blocking the bed and I just assumed they were in Eva's room until Ted said he was going to "her" room. Then they sat on the empty bed to pray! Go to the hospital chapel?

"Crusty rubber duck" would have been something else starting with d on cable or streaming. I appreciate the veiled insult.

Leslie was for the first time serious and not over the top. Even her snapping at Kat was more nuanced.

Chelsea said that her and Tomas were searching for Kat, but Tomas was sedentary during the chaos.

I didn’t think it was possible but AA has somehow gotten even worse during this tornado storyline as Tomas.

You should definitely laugh. Please laugh 😃

Was that an actual screenshot of something that aired? I assume it was screenshot because of the two misspellings.

If it aired, it's not a spoiler.

I noticed at the end of today's ep June called Naomi and Naomi said she'd be there soon... this was after Tyrell and Samantha assumed she was fine because she wasn't at work. Curious if we'll see how the other half lives and made it through the tornado tomorrow.

Ohhh, Deanna had Vanessa's number! That was too good. Didn't the same thing happen with Doug? He overheard Joey with Van the night he died? One wonders if Joey does it accidentally-on-purpose...

I was a little thrown when Joey added Isaiah to the list of people he loves. From the one or two scenes they've had, I definitely didn't think the bond was that strong. They're definitely telling and not showing on that one.

I'm so over that the Duprees are so perfect, they even heal immediately from what should be catastrophic injuries.

I kind of loved Leslie praying with Isaiah. Aw, he loves Eva SO much. ❤️

Kat should feel guilty over the way she treated Eva when she was injured. In the middle of a disaster if someone says "I'm not feeling right," you don't go off like that and call them lazy. I liked that she did that because I thought it would end up being sappy sisterly stuff where they realize how they care about each other, etc. This was so much better. But Leslie is being unfair to Kat since she doesn't know how Kat behaved (it really was pretty bad, even Leslie showed compassion to Anita).

Well, the lead-up and start to this BTG/Y&R crossover has been really good. I forgot to mention how much I loved the subtle mentions on the Friday before to it. And I did like Victor's entrance...shades of the time TSJ Tucker landed on the Abbotts' lawn in a helicopter on Y&R. And then the building up on the storm has been nicely done as well. Sidenote...I love that BTG is continuing to do what B&B always does...dress stars from Y&R even better than they look on their own show.

THINGS I LIKE SO FAR...

ROUND 2 FORMING. I called it then when Devon crossed over and talked to Anita about the remastering of the Articulates' tracks and BOOM THERE IT IS!!! Now that SilkPress knows about it, she's going to try to squeeze her butt into that story for Barbara. And it all leads to Anita vs her Round 2. It was a nice little payoff to see that plot thread come back around during the crossover as hoped. Speaking of...

DEVON. Yes, Andre! Wife or not, I too saw that look Devon gave Dani hehe. If there wasn't already juicy mess coming from Bill, I would have been all for it. It is funny that since Devon and Dani crossed paths, they are both married. But that...and the Articulates thread...just shows how Devon could seamlessly fold into this show if he ever left Y&R. Just saying...

VICTOR. I'm bias. It's Victor. Nuff said.

THE FUNDRAISER. I'm liking the extras! I'm liking the clothes of course. But I'm liking how the stories are mixing together. Of course, Vanessa would bring Joey as her Plus One...immediately having tension with the Duprees. And Joey should have known better....knowing his presence teases Martin's Secret to the public surface. Of course, Ted continues to give NOTHING as Silk Press Sheila gets in his face. Of course, SilkPress makes an entrance, echoing the recent Impaler reveal. Anastacia WILL pot stir. But Kat vs Eva is always in style...which for the record Eva didn't seem like she was handling that interview well to me. And Andre/Dani/Bill is hot, hot, hot!!! And lest we forget...characters from Y&R are milling about, giving great moments.

DANI/VANESSA. You know I live for their scenes. And while Vanessa did not want to hear it, Dani gave her some truth.

THE IMPALER REVEAL. Finally!!! So all that foreshadowing was just that...Heather's arrival. First Darlene. Then Deanna. Now...Heather. Well-played. I liked how AJ played her...very Sarah Joy Brown. Do I think she can play this character? I feel that a lot of the talk I saw referenced her daytime time roles, but what about her primetime roles? Has she played against type that it's possible she can do this role? Hmmm...maybe. The only thing I know her from was TRUE BLOOD Season 2 with Michelle Forbes's Mary Ann so good girl until she's not...hmmm again maybe. Also with AJ coming on as Joey's sister...the character has another tentacle/connection to the canvas...which I have mixed feelings about. Though for me...it's because another connection to the canvas might stretch out Joey's long overdue comeuppance for Doug's death.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES. Dani and Ashley actually having a deep conversation? Alone? Wow. But a good scene all the same.

SHE'S NOT (TOO) ANNOYING FOR ONCE. I had to roll my eyes at Silk Press Sheila. I was happy to see my Have-Nots briefly together. It would be nice to see them gossiping (recapping) anew. Le sigh. That said...as annoying as SilkPress can be...it does seem like she is moving with purpose to stir up story rather than be a cartoon...well...outside of Ted No-Backbone. Her entrance echoing Heather, spooking Joey and the fact he now has ANOTHER secret. The start of that long-backburnered Articulate plot thread. And I liked the scene she had with Diane. Dare I say...she came across human and with the self-awareness to make her character rootable.

HERE COMETH TORNADO! That start was great. And I agree with other comments I saw. It really brought to mind the AMC 1994 tornado.

THINGS I'M NOT LIKING.

VANESSA. Honestly, I'm about to call her out of her name for doing that (bringing Joey) at a Dupree event.

TED/SHANICE. Shanice deserves better. Where's that backbone at, Ted?
