Trisha did the damn thing today. Colby too.

I really feel like Kat isn't going to be a match outside of her reluctantly wanting to be anyway and that's when Joey is going to ask Heather to find to find an organ donor or an organ that will match Eva.

He mentioned today that Izaiah is one of the few people he cares about and although he isn't crazy about Leslie he's definitely gonna do it for Izaiah.

I feel like this gives us the drama and then a solution.

If Joey is the savior who saves Eva, I am going to scream bloody murder. You think I've been unhappy with the white guy hero to this point? Just wait.

Is Martin running unopposed? Did I somehow miss the name of his opponent? For some reason, I just cannot take his campaign seriously.

He's not unopposed, but no opponent has been mentioned.

It's all pretty shaky, but I'll let this slide, even though a sitting member of Congress would have very little trouble winning a primary unless he,/she was severely compromised.

If they do this for the general election, it'll again be shaky, because the chances of someone (a republican) defeating Martin would be slim to none unless Martin's sins are exposed.

I will never stop beating the drum of what a horrible, off-putting, and irrelevant character Ashley is, and what a boring actress Jen Jacob is (she can’t rise above the horrible writing for her charac

MVJ definitely needs to slow down with her unwarranted fascination with Jon Lindstrom - the character is awfully written, but there is nothing interesting about Lindstrom’s performance either. Frankly

I personally don't think that disliking White Savior Joey is an indication the character is working. If it's a choice between King Joey and Duprees Strong, I choose neither.

Very. But at least your reasoning has always made sense and be constructive. :)

There was a screenshot on the web ( Ill look to see if I can find ) it that said his opponent's name was Emily. I thought initially that was who Ashley Jones was playing. Not sure if the role has been cast or when we will see her though

Should I laugh at this? Or do I bother you so much that I'm like a bad rash that reappears? 😂

As do I. I can understand the character being picked on (same for Vanessa as well) this year because they have both been horrible and well...poorly written. Definitely deserving of a comeuppance that isn't coming soon enough.

The first year, both characters had the best paced of the B stories...heck one of the best stories last year. It felt organic and then the plotlines converged. That was back when there was gray to Vanessa's character which made it more engrossing. So engrossing was Doug/Vanessa/Joey, I didn't notice the optics until it was pointed out. It has been great food for thought beyond people hating Joey simply due to the mob aesthetic or how JL played him.

Great show today, although I wouldn't have missed Joey and Vanessa. It was great seeing Deanna. She had me cracking up with the "crusty rubber ducky" comment.

I came here just to comment on this very remark.😂 If only they would write for this character, outside of her trifling mother and unconvincing geriatric wannabe gangster boyfriend.

Oh yes, Deanna on FaceTime and that line was a highlight today, and the episode was full of those.

Eva needing a liver transplant is a twist I didn't see coming. I thought with all the bleeding and what we saw of Kat in the coming attractions, she would need a transfusion. I was prepared to roll my eyes at Kat not wanting to donate blood, like when she didn't want to get genetic testing. This would be a much more significant sacrifice.

More amazing acting today.

I'm fascinated to see what they are going to do set-wise while the club is out of commission.

Two small quibbles about hospital protocol... How did Martin get a room so quickly? Dupree connections? And why were Dana/Leslie and Izaiah hanging out in an empty, private room - during a natural disaster, no less? They were mostly blocking the bed and I just assumed they were in Eva's room until Ted said he was going to "her" room. Then they sat on the empty bed to pray! Go to the hospital chapel?

"Crusty rubber duck" would have been something else starting with d on cable or streaming. I appreciate the veiled insult.

Leslie was for the first time serious and not over the top. Even her snapping at Kat was more nuanced.

Chelsea said that her and Tomas were searching for Kat, but Tomas was sedentary during the chaos.

I didn’t think it was possible but AA has somehow gotten even worse during this tornado storyline as Tomas.

Here is that screenshot I talked about earlier . I put it behind a spoiler just in case
