I would definitely write Maxie/Spinelli off but give them a wedding first if KS is still available. Mac/Felicia can keep James to bond with "Nathan" and eventually an aged Georgie will make her way to town.

I hope the show will at least get KS back (or a temp recast) to complete the Nathan story. She should at least be around for the reveal and have some reaction to it. It really feels like everyone got their wires crossed with this story. I have to assume Frank took Kirsten at her word when she said she'd be back in the late fall, which I don't know why given her history of extending breaks. I certainly wouldn't have built a story around Maxie without having Kirsten in the building lol.

I definitely don't see Frank giving up on James so I can see him back with Mac and Felicia.

Yeah, I don't see FV letting James go. Those type of kids are his favorite although little James doesn't bother me in a Violet or Wiley kind of way lol. He's passably cute.

Yeah, another thing I can thank PM for. Before I found James annoying, but during that period, I came to like him and have ever since. But they really haven't been using him so I would expect him to leave if Maxie is sent to HEA, but yep. I don't see it cuz of Frank.

I agree. But it can also serve as an entry point for a strong recast teen Georgie, as LNL's 2006 story was for Julie Berman as Lulu. I would not send Georgie away at all, I'd have her stay on with Mac and Felicia with the family leaving.

Agreed on it being ridiculous spinning this story without Maxie. But they did it because above all FV is clearly still lusting after RP over a decade later, regardless of any acting talent or viable character. His taste has been like this since his days judging I Wanna be a Soap Star in the 2000s.

Just perusing through this thread, I hope whatever is going on with FH, she is doing well. Love Anna and it would be great to see her back in action.

I wasn't familiar with RB's rarler run on the show, but I find the actor pretty likeable and seems to blend well in the ensemble. Not every actor has to be Meryl Strrep.
