Sorry to say, I've felt Anna and Maxie have been burned out for a long time. It might be best to just give them happy endings and bring in new characters with the traits they used to have.

The show is long overdue bringing in a daughter for Lucy, who should get involved with Michael, driving Tracy nuts.

I believe Vee has been advocating for Serena/Michael for a long time.

Agree. I have all the sympathy in the world for KS and her medical issues. But she seemingly takes months off at a time for a role that could be recast or simply written off. Maxie's recent blink and you miss it return to GH added nothing of value to the story.

I like Anna but the character has been so watered down. It would've been cool if she had been mentoring Emma into the WSB.

Serena Baldwin and Michael would be a good match. Unless there's another daughter I'm forgetting. I wouldn't mind if Lucy and Kevin reunited. I always loved them together.

Lucy also has an adopted daughter Christina.

I would have loved Anna mentoring Emma at the WSB. But we know how I feel about that story.

Does KS even have a large enough fanbase that warrants not just recasting the role and moving on? She’s been pretty good since PM’s brief stint but I’d rather have an actress that can actually be there.

I didn’t grow up with Anna so honestly I’m fine if she leaves. Finola’s constant need to cry in every scene is only rivaled by JJ’s first return and I have no use for it.

I actually would probably put Michael with a totally new character, namely a driven surgeon in the Patrick mold. But Serena as a slighty daffy heiress/businesswoman a la Lucy would also be an option to play with. I think it's too pat and cliche to just put core children together right off. Plus Michael has been with a princess type before (Starr).

But Christina I would definitely bring on (probably using a new name given the obvious issue) as a troublemaking novelist/activist or eccentric therapist, someone vaguely Bridget Dobson or Lena Dunham (minus the actual Lena Dunham). Trading on her parents' scandals. She would be a spiky character, the contrast to Serena, and would probably end up with the arrogant Dr. Thomas Hardy (Tommy).

I think it's probably just time to write Maxie out. This story should have been big for her and the chance is gone. And she's back with Spinelli again, which limits her stories.

They could easily write out her with Spinelli and then have a slightly aged up Georgie come to live with Mac and Felicia for whatever reason.

Thank you for clarifying because I didn't want to speak too out of turn. I definitely wouldn't want two core kids put together off the bat. Give me a nice slow (but not slow as molasses) burn.

Totally love the Christina idea. And she definitely has so much more of an open slate to play with due to being out of sight for years, but yet has the history of vets behind her
