They consider Paul as still being on the show, he was on the phone with Daniel when Heather died and couldn't make the funeral. 😅

Can't wait to see more scenes of a psycho plotting in that one hotel room!

Even though she is NOT my Kristen Dimera, I do love Stacy Haiduk. I have since the days of KINDRED THE EMBRACED and SUPERBOY. And I know I'm in the minority, but I loved the Mary Jane storyline...and still remember the promo of Patty stepping to Victor with that deep 'And if I DON'T, Victor?' I was just sorry she went too crazy, but it had a good start and air of mystery. I was also happy they tried to keep Stacy by giving Jack a relationship with Emily.

That said...clearly, Jack and Diane need some different, new drama and JG does love to write for the Abbotts. But what is that 4 or 5 psychos within the span of a year and a half?

Yeeeeah NO.

And ANOTHER thing. I mean, there's really no one other than Jack and Victor on the canvas that is really connected to her.

I thought she was fascinating as Patty the first time, and the show made the mistake of taking her too far and writing the character into a corner. I had wished they had stopped short of that and found a way to keep her. That being said, I don't trust this show to do anything right these days.

Patty does have history with Diane, but I hate that she'll continue to be crazy/psycho instead of being tortured like she was in the character's heyday circa 1983/1984.

Patty can have scenes with Mary, Carl, Paul, Steve and Todd. All apparently alive and well. Or did they intimate once that Mary had passed?

Everytime Josh dips into the past it's a disaster.

eg the creation of Jordan and Claire, bringing back Cole and killing him off, pyscho Cameron,Matt back from the dead, Allie, Aristotle/Cane, bring back Heather and killing her off, bringing back Leslie as an extra and so on.

Mary Williams croaked. During Dina Mergeron's final year, Dina set Nick Newman's nightclub on fire while suffering from Alzheimer's. Paul Williams told Jack she'd need to be booked for arson. Jack said, "Paul, you can't arrest my mother for this. If your own mother -- God rest her soul -- had done something like this, would you have arrested her?"
