Every day that goes on, I despise Ted even more. I mean, how much more of a dumbass can he possibly get? He really believes Leslie at face value that Vernon is cheating on Anita with someone else?

Horrendous writing that makes no sense. None. I've decided I don't care about Naomi and Jacob's relationship at all. In a show that had some really good emotional moments, that stuff with the Naomi gift was childish and ridiculous.

-- The Anita cancer storyline is off to a good start, but I kind of wish they held off on it until after the holidays. We could get enough emotion from the June story.

-- Did Tracy really ask Vernon "Do you have a restroom"? Does she think she's in a gas station?

-- Please end this Vernon/Sharon mess a.s.a.p. It's already gone on too long.

-- I will forever be disappointed if Vernon doesn't sing "Never Can Say Goodbye" to Anita as a Christmas gift. It's a perfect way to milk the cancer storyline.

-- I'm glad Regina was brought in, but would have preferred seeing June decorate with the tree topper. Samantha would really have said Regina was their angel? Not buying it.

-- Seemed like Eva and Ted just got to the Christmas party and left 10 minutes later.

-- Why was Kat of all people chosen to do the tree topper at Dani and Andre's? It's their first Christmas together, so let them do it together.

-- The Cascade product placement and dialogue was HORRENDOUS. Who is writing this stuff???

-- Ted continues to be written as a complete fool and dumbass. Believing Leslie about Vernon having an affair? I feel sorry for actors when they're put through this.

I very much enjoyed today's episode. Many have said it was heartbreaking, which it was, with Anita's breast cancer diagnosis but it was also heartwarming. I loved the heartfelt moments at the Richardson-Smith brownstone with June, Tyrell, Samantha and Regina. But I do love me some Smitty.

As for Naomi and Jacob, she is definitely an entitled spoiled b***h like Kat and I feel sorry for Jacob.

And where was Kial??? Are they really trying to make Nicole & Carlton a thing??? 🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️

Today was a great soap Christmas episode though I have to agree with @Liberty City , why are we putting the tree up two days before Christmas. Literally no one I’ve ever known in my 37 years on this earth does this. Hell I know people that do it the day after Thanksgiving.

Meet your first! We brought our inside Sunday and plan to decorate it Wednesday afternoon. That'll give us our twelve days (plus one extra), which seems like more than enough to me. I'd be tired of it if it sat there from Thanksgiving till Epiphany.

Same. Nicole deserves a slow burn. And a triangle. And as an A character it is overdue. BRING IT!

I loved the last 3 episodes, with the exception of few bizarre moments and the fact that the product placement needs to improve, because it cheapens the ENTIRE show... Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand I still don't like how during the Holidays we are going to such dark places, seconding what @ranger1rg said in his post - I would have waited till the end of the Holidays. Their ratings are rocky enough, we don't need people tuning out, because the mood is too depressing. Trust me, people do that when the mood on screen is too gloom during Christmas. This should have followed somewhere in mid January.

Same. It is something that irks me across all soaps; based on yesterday's episodes of several soaps, they were 'tree trimming' on Christmas Eve or in the days preceding Christmas, and it just bothers me. And yes, I've known people who put theirs up on Black Friday or even before Thanksgiving, but that [to me] is too early because, by Christmas, you've got a dead tree with no scent, and no one wants that. At least by the beginning of December that scent should still be there by Christmas Day, or at least beginning to fade.

I prefer around December 3rd for the tree.

Anita getting horrible news near Christmas IS, unfortunately, realistic. My closest friend died last year on Christmas day. Also, more ppl are off work for the holidays and might see it and think about getting checked.

The Cascade product placement dialog killed me.

I don't know... Next thing we'll have Hayley putting a Cascade pod in Bill's drink to finish him or something like that...
