Great to have Jill back on set and not on a laptop screen.

BUT she's stuck in that awful story. Some AI threat...really not interested.

Sometimes I think JG tries to respond to criticism via his writing. We complain about sets so he had every character express how amazing and lush it was in France, and many pronouncements about how it seemed like something big and exciting would happen. We had that scene when Jack and Nikki returned home and said GC is downright boring and the reply was they would never say that about GC lol. So I wonder if this AI crap is a reaction to the people who snark that he uses ChatGPT to write.

I know Sally is supposed to be like a young version of Phyllis but to me she’s more like Victoria. Shes supposedly very business savvy but shes boring as f*ck. I wouldn’t mind at all if she went back to B&B

So, Tessa and Sharon’s conversation indicated to me that Tessa and Daniel were gonna track down Mariah and we were gonna be able to see this drama play out on screen but ofcourse none of that happened. Tessa and Daniel are back at the coffee house next week talking about their trip to Sharon.. REALLY? What is the point of any of this. I get there are budget restraints but we couldn’t even atleast get a hotel set or something with Daniel and Tessa discovering some kind of information about Mariah? I just don’t understand these writers at all.

Oh but we will be able to see some scenes next week of Shick being in L.A with Noah. Funny how JG has to rely on Shick as his last ditch effort to save his job. Well I don’t think it’s going to work. Bye bye JG you couldn’t possibly be gone fast enough!

If this is Josh Griffith's last gasp to save his job, he's in deep, deep trouble, because this stuff is as bad or worse than what's put him in a hole.

Please soap gods let Josh Griffith be on the way out.

Did you see those 18-49 demo numbers? CBS cannot be happy.

Saw them, and agree.

He won’t even fully commit to Shick. He’s been giving us fans of the couple blue balls for fun.

THIS.

And @DaytimeFan Jill sounds like she's back and in town.

I think this is Josh Griffith's idea of a way to break-up two long-term married gay women, and then have one of the women turn to a man for emotional and sexual satisfaction   Josh will use the idea that "women are sexually fluid" to justify it.   Bullshit.

It’s been an extremely slow burn which I wouldn’t be upset about if the intention was to actually have them end up together. They’re already getting the Michael and Lauren treatment (being backburned) so why not just let them be together and start writing some stories for Noah and Faith.

I really hope that will be what happens if we get new writers.

He’s terrible at writing good stories for women period so it’s especially glaring when it’s a storyline for a female couple. He tends to care more about writing stories focused on the men (Billy, Victor, Nick, Adam) but soaps always used to be focused on the female perspective. I prefer a more balanced approach personally.. and being able to see both perspectives but hey I guess that’s asking too much.

I am catching up on this soap; I am in August, and everything is very fragmented, but the acting is strong, especially from Camryn Grimes and Amelia Heinle.
