Oh now that you mention it…watch her be a recast Avery (Phyllis sister). That wouldn’t be bad but I don’t need any other characters connected to Phyllis or Nick/Sharon for that matter.

Oh god Avery is definitely not needed back. I agree though.. and the only connections I need to Nick and Sharon are their children, Noah & Faith which we probably wouldn’t get. 
 

id seriously be interested in a Mackenzie recast though. There is so much story potential for Billy there and I don’t know why it’s been ignored for so long when Billy has become such a front burner character these days. I am NOT feeling the relationship with Sally. They make me sick. I literally FF their scenes.

A recast for Mackenzie would be inspired. She would pair up with Jason Thompson's Billy very well. And if she could work with Jess Walton for some Jill/Mac friction, it would be electric.

But the show can't write/produce for its existing cast, so I won't hold my breath.

THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS continues to ignore the Young in their Title. Except for Failly Erin.  Charlie and Mattie's angst is offscreen. 

Braun is a great actress, but Y&R will waste her. Jermaine Rivers was a fantastic find that fit right in with the extended Winters clan. "Great job, gere's your walking papers..." Braun is too good for whatever throwaway character she plays...  My guess would be a return of Grace Turner, but I doubt Griffith remembers she exists.

3-6 months til the next "big" casting news as "Bacall" quietly disappears.

On another note, seeing TR's final scenes gutted me, but Cane talking for 34 minutes was more than anyone needed.

she's coming from DAYS, who took their original (modern) Patty... so I'm guessing this is a stunt and she will be Patty Williams w/ the crazy under control. Either Cane or Victor bringing her on to distract Jack, so they can steal Jabot, etc. LOL It will be funny watching her and MS try and out eat the scenery w/ each other. lol 

Haha, I was just thinking the former Carly's are always popping up somewhere on another soap, but never quite sticking around for the long haul. I'm surprised she lasted as long as she did on DAYS, though I was certain she'd be back soon, or had already been back and taped and left again; who knows with DAYS. Heck, she'll probably appear in Salem next June for a 3 week stint. 

Tamara is about 25-30 years too young to play Patty, but we're dealing with Billy Flynn as Cane Ashby.

Happy to see her. I might watch for a week.

I hope for Tamara’s sake they at least give her a legacy character to play. I probably will tune in when she starts airing.
