Well.  I liked how pretty Kat looked holding the flowers.  But that's the only thing I liked today.

have not enjoyed BTG at all this week.   I can't stand Leslie.  She's not fun for me at all.   This has been the worst week of the show for me.

The point of soaps is entertainment.  I'm not having fun with this anymore.  I forced myself to watch every episode this week and hated it all.  BTG is a show I have truly loved and supported all this time.   But I'm not going to invest my energy into something that makes me angry and annoyed.  I'm out.

Awww sorry to hear that. I've enjoyed your comments, but I understand. Especially about SilkPress as of late. Hopefully, you will be bad when she finally gets her comeuppances.

Could Allison actually be a red herring and it's someone else that has Chels?

I thought about that, too. However, the show painted Tyrell and Samantha as June's kids, and many of us thought that was too obvious -- and then the show went with the obvious.

I think they're going with the obvious again, and that their red herring is not showing Allison.

I'm wondering if Chelsea is being held hostage due to a beef the kidnapper has with Bill and/or the rest of the Duprees?   Nah... that would be interesting and the most likely person that is holding Chelsea hostage is Allison and/or Allison's creepy ex.

Yeah, I thought about that as well.

I still kicking the show for that re: June/Ty/Samantha. Cuz...why?

I will probably kick them again if it's a red herring when it is still Allison.

Yeah, I am thinking creepy ex for now.

I also thought it might be Allison's partner when they decided to not show who had taken Chelsea. However, as mentioned before, the show has gone for the obvious so it most likely is Allison.

Now that I'm sitting here thinking about it. Could Allison actually be a red herring and it's someone else that has Chels? After all, we all know that Allison was giving stalker, but the show went out of their way to NOT show Allison. Even in previews.

I agree with you. It was why when I was watching yesterday that I said they found SilkPress's throughline moving forward in that scene. For too long she's been a cartoon, now she has even more of a reason to come across as a (flawed) human with that declaration to Eva. TMG played the hades out of that, giving her character the nuances over the writing that I needed.

TMG definitely added some layers and nuance in her scenes with Eva. I don’t mind Leslie being funny, as TMG is quite funny and good at humor, but it needs to be balanced out and that seems to be happening a bit lately which I’ve enjoyed.

It could be me just imagining things but it feels like we've had longer scenes recently, particularly in the opening segment prior to the credits. They've also fixed the editing and removed the abrupt transitions at commercial. These were small improvements that have helped the show IMO.

Now looking at the week overall, I was absolutely in love with Leslie's transition to power. This feels like classic soap without the time delay. I wouldn't mind them slowing stories down a bit but I feel like I'd be wrong to complain when I know how irritating it is seeing the stories dragged out on the other soaps. They can slow down a little bit in year two but I don't blame them for keeping up the pace to maintain viewers.

I loved how Leslie being Barbara's daughter got so much of the cast involved. The Dupree's, Bill and Ted, even Vanessa. It showed the potential this has to move the show forward. I also can't wait to see how her new house set looks! I know people keep pushing that Vernon rumor but I hope they make Dante Green her family and finally give us the second family we wanted.

Wishful Casting: Sean Blakemore as Dante Green, Victoria Rowell as his new wife and give them a son!

The Chelsea kidnapping I found to be a fun cliffhanger. I'm curious if Alison will be the one who kidnapped her or if it could be related to the ChelseaKat lawsuit. This is one story I hope they go the more traditional soap route and stretch out for a while.

I would not waste SB on a villain (and I think he's too young to be Dante Green). I would however bring him on for DD or someone else.
