Today, Smitty had that line about a grave which could have been foreshadowing his death, but my money is still on Doug being the first major character to bite it.

Smitty was the best part of the episode!  Mike Manning is doing a great job as a reporter.

I’m shocked how much I’m enjoying Smitty now. Mike Manning did nothing for me on Days but he’s really got this character down. Getting Smitty out of the house and in reporter mode and interacting all over the canvas was a great idea.

I loved the scenes with Shanice/Derek/Ashley/Andre. So unexpected IMO. And hurricane Dani 😂😂😂

Smitty is quickly becoming one of favorites, along with Nicole, Eva, Dana/Leslie, Vernon, Bill, Kat and Anita.

Speaking of Dani, I was Team Bill and Hayley once again. I really enjoyed seeing them tell her off. 

Mike Manning never disappoints and I’m so glad that he got a second chance to show off his abilities on a soap. Seeing Smitty in reporter mode and interacting with the rest of the canvas has been great. And he really does have good chemistry with Jibre Hordges. 

And I like Tyrell, but yeah that was a pretty bad move lol inviting a creepy older man into your house does not earn you respect, dude 😂

They better sweep next year's Emmys even if just for being the "fresh, new, shiny" object. But truly, the show puts the others to shame with the layered storytelling and acting.

Does the city were BTG takes place have a name?  Or is it just a vague suburb of Washington DC?   And obviously, Fairmont Crest is the name of the gated community, not the name of the city.
