Danny and Rocco..... and Lulu(who usually annoys the heck out of me) were the best thing about today's boring episode. Even Sasha and Willow's were 🥱

I'm all for the long game, but this is stuff is going on and on and on..........

Under the Korte/Van Etten regime, it alternates every single day. So yesterday it was "Elizabeth Korte, Chris Van Etten" and today it was "Chris Van Etten, Elizabeth Korte".

So, if we get a five-day week, one week it'll be three Korte first credits and two Van Etten second credits; then the following week, it'll be three Van Etten first credits and two Korte second credits.

So on Monday, Korte will be credited first (a three-day Korte lead credit).

Got it. I vaguely remember this being discussed. I guess it's fair.

Yeah; I feel like, in previous regimes, it wasn't as consistent as this. You could go episodes without it changing. I just hate the random indent on the secondary head writer.

Just shows you how quickly audiences respond to out-of-character writing.

This is Day 3 of the Dante Ranting Tour wherein he bashes everyone else's parenting and everyone else's kid. He could not be more obnoxious.

GH isn't that character-driven a show in recent decades. I think reaction depends on whether the character has a passionate fanbase. A character like Ava always has people who will defend her and back her up, as does a character like Nina (when they used to write for Nina, anyway). Dante doesn't.

That would be me. hehe. Keeping track of who I liked better and how it informed what would happen from episode to episode.

Just this fan's opinion but I have said these writers are the most plot opportunistic maybe ever! They will have any character say just about anything if it advances whatever plot point they have in their minds atm. I think if Dante's POV right now was defensible people would be running it up the flag pole. The fanbase thing you're describing to me it just means they're going to continue to like their fave no matter what.

I think Dante has a larger GH fanbase than both Ava and Nina character wise.  Both CW and MW have a built in fanbase outside GH which isn't really indictive of the characters, IMO.

I wrote my previous post about Dante being on a 3-day rant while I was at the 30-minute mark of the show. By the end, Dante was back to being reasonable and kind and understanding of everyone and everything.

OK, I get it. We all knew that sooner or later we'd get the wise Dante. The mistake was showing him berate Jason IN THE SAME EPISODE and imply he's a lousy father.

I get what you mean, but Mary Beth Evans was on DAYS yet never had a following at GH. Watros in particular had been out of any real daytime following for a long time, aside from her brief stint on Y&R. I suppose beyond the appeal of the actresses, it helps that they are often in conflict with characters a lot of vocal fans hate, which Dante is not.

It's hard to say about MBE's following.  Katherine was a mess from the start and diametrically opposite of Kayla.  Both Nina and Ava were messes too, but the material was more in their wheelhouse.  Plus, both came frome cancelled shows so that was the only option for their fans.

I just got to the first set of Dante ranting at Gio episodes and I really need him to shut the hell up. Gio literally was at the party with people his own age and didn’t even know Dante’s kid snuck out to a party. Talking about I could charge you for serving a minor? This is just really stupid writing.

You're really in for it, because those rants continue for 3 episodes.

Today's episode was serviceable, but the cliffhangers were disappointing!

I was struck by how ho-hum those cliffhangers were. It was like the writers ran out of gas.

I was like Penny, aka Janet, and said, "That's the end???"

Will I miss anything pertinent fast forwarding?

I love that Kristina is so aghast someone could think she’s crazy after she just tried to kill someone. She’s basically saying my mom doesn’t know the full extent of my crazy, how dare she! It’s laughable. I genuinely don’t know what the show wants us to think of Kristina at this point,
