Jesus Christ, they're still talking about the elevator baby? Does anything else happen in that hospital?

Tomorrow they'll have Derek rhapsodize about the cat.

I have been waiting for Bill and Ted to cross paths too. It should be interesting when it finally happens. And yes, I can see them covering for each other.

@DarnI hope they improve on that soon. We still have time to give Anita some good girlfriends.

Derek and Ashley need to be dropped. They are not working!

I love Nicole and Vanessa's friendship. They work together, they have nice chemistry.

Naomi and Hayley are about to come to blows again.

You're a Zaddy? Lol

date: Friday, April 4 | Ron Carlivati, Danielle Paige | Phideaux Xavier

  • Hayley is a cat lady? And she's connected to Derek? Whew... well, she can attach herself to him, with their shared cats, and high-tail it out of Fairmont Crest and the Washington, D.C., area.
  • Naomi, do not call 911. Let Bill die in pain. He's earned it.
  • I genuinely hope Dani's support of Chelsea and Katherine is natural, and no, Chelsea, do not walk in the show. You stood your ground. Don't back down now.
  • Vanessa scurrying, without her electronics, to her closet to have some sex with Diego is kind of everything. She is messy, and I like messy.
  • Oh Teddy, stop thinking about that mess of a person Dana is. If you ultimately believe the child you both were to share was aborted, then it should be easier to tell Nicole and help you control the narrative ahead of Dana's planned exposure.
  • Shanice, this isn't cute. You're being messy as frick, and not in a good way.
  • I love that Naomi is just comforted by Dani; I truly feel like they're the mother-daughter connection over Dani and Chelsea.
  • I would likely be a regular at Orphey Gene's. Their food looks delicious, and the vibes are there.
  • Hayley, stop trying to help this gigolo. He ain't worth it.
  • Kind of love the tech-not-so-savvy parents relying on the younger generation. That's real. That's natural.
  • The static in Vanessa's hair is hilarious from her romp in the closet with Diego, but she's not being smart in this. I don't think Joey is someone you're going to want to confront like this.
  • I appreciate that Dani is slowly warming to this and isn't on LVL 10 all the time.
  • Joey is a smooth talker, and Jon Lindstrom is playing it to the highest of highs. I love it.

Ooh, next week looks even more juicy than this week. Bring it on!

Eva's first paycheck cleared and her face is BEAT! She looks better without the makeup IMO. She's looking like a drag queen here when she was flawless natural

Oh boy I just realize that was a Friday episode. Yikes! There was very little to entice someone to tune in next week but watching and commenting here made the episode go by faster.

I feel crazy watching anything at the hospital. It's all so weightless and unessential. Badly written. Embarrassing really. The fact that they're talking about Ashley and that damn baby almost 2 months later is insane. It wasn't exciting when it happened, do they think having several characters recant it will make it pop?

Okay good, not just me! Woof.

To be fair even Bill Bell at some point didn’t seem to care anymore what time of day it was and it did seem like some of his episodes took place on the same day and other characters had already begun a new one! Haha

I think for this show they have had too many “new days” like particularly the third or fourth week of the show.

Totally agree.  I think this show has potential, I really do.  I really enjoyed the first two weeks and I do enjoy many of the characters, but these storylines right now are zzzz:  anything in the hospital (except Shanice!), the nurse documentary, the sexual harassment lawsuit, the gambling addiction.  We didn't get Leslie at all this week nor any movement to her storyline.  The previews for next week did look better and I'm excited for the fashion show event, but I sure hope they got more extras in the background than they did for Nicole's award ceremony.  If that fashion show only has the Dupree family and Vanessa, I'm going to LOL again.

    •   Josh Swickard has a more than passable voice. His performance of "Smooth Criminal" a few years ago showed he has talent. But damn, this wasn't it. That song (a Swickard original?) was lame and awful, and the accompaniment by 3 non-professional dancers was...a choice. The entire thing was pretty cringe and a big YIKES. As for Dominic Zamprogna, I thought he was the BEST of the 3 dancers. JK and SW were stuck onstage without a net.   -- The Gio reveal was great soap. The Nurses Ball backdrop was the perfect place for that to happen, and reason enough for the NB to exist. I'll take that kind of cliffhanger any day of the week.     Lots of comments here about GM getting too loud and dramatic, but I like the choice, and I think it worked. It played against type. Gio was onstage performing, and he gave us a real performance.      We seem to love all the soap traditions being brought back to life on BTG, but when GH does it with the violin smashing, then it's too much? That scene gave us a moment.   For me, I can put aside how many rootable characters are on a soap when the drama is good -- and I think we're getting good drama. And isn't Gio rootable? Emma? Liz? Dante was rootable until he went on a "Destroy Gio" tour the past couple weeks. Besides, it depends on your definition of "rootable." I think Tracy is rootable even though she is deeply flawed and makes a lot of mistakes.
    • Same. I didn't want to jump in until the writing change, but I got busy. I've been doing other things, but I've been really enjoying DAYS today so far. And grateful my internet is going great. And highlight today was seeing Dr. Marlena Evans for the first time in years. Oh, how I've missed her. Still am not ready for John though. I know I'm going to be a mess.

GH...I was feeling nostalgic for the Nurses Ball and I liked the promo for it. So I figured I can push down my dislike of The Writer Who Shall Not Be Named enough to tune in. For a week at least. lol. It seems like...from the few comments I choose to look at cuz...no spoilers but that one hehe...it is going to be a good but fun event. And let's be real...we know I want to see the Carly slap...looooong time coming.
    • Thurs sees Lily and Damian at GCAC spending an entire episode talking. Nate and Audra at Society talking-but wait Kyle and Claire arrive, so they have someone else to talk to for the entire episode. Amanda at CL talking to Devon and Abby for the entire episode.  The Young in the Restaurants continues...
    • And it also could've played into Dani's characterization as well, with her being the middle child.
    • Awwwwww Gio

The violin smash was a little bit much though  But he blew me away in the rest of his scenes. He played the anger and devastation so well. GM is definitely as talented an actor as he is a musician. In terms of acting, this really was like his first chance to shine and he shined pretty brightly. And on his birthday too no less lol maybe he can be the next Nicholas Chavez. He definitely acted circles around another younger actor, who's subpar AF but is constantly shoved down our throats like she's Meryl Streep  I can't wait for tomorrow to see what happens for him, for Dante/Brook Lynn, for Lois, Lulu, Emma, etc. Hopefully, Lulu gets a slap or a punch, at least. And yeah, can this show stop f*cking mentioning Stone, please? After what they did to Jagger, they have no right to even speak his name anymore
    • I’m doing both as well. I have all of May to catch up on with Days but it’s been so enjoyable post RC I’m actually excited.
    • Ted is definitely much less present now than under Johnson's portrayal. Ted didn't even come off as an equal to Nicole today and was more like some random ex-husband pulled out of the woodwork for a minor plot point.
    • Well it was just a crazy theory that may never be solved. But it got us thinking. There have been a couple of other mystery headwriters over the years. I remember when KC Collier tyrned up as ATWT headwriter. I think that was subsequently proved to be Millee Taggart. So if Kubeck wasn;t Slesar, it might have been another known writer who used a pseudontm for some reason. Moving on Somerset Pt. 4 Vickie is increasingly upset when both Dan and Fred Harrington warn her to stop Julian on his crusade because of the great danger he is in. But Julian is not to be deterred. Steve is told that Julian is using Greg’s investigation notes for his vendetta against crime and he is to stop Carrie. Steve again refuses, insisting that his job for the Organization is cleaning up their money, nothing more. Needing a closer eye on Steve, Fred Harrington has a most loyal and efficient  Organization employee brought in to work with him. Denny Saunders is an attractive young woman who sees the Organization as her mother and father—it has provided her with the only nice things she’s ever had—and she is predisposed against Steve from the start because of his “double cross” on the witness stand. Despite this new and difficult. complication in his plans, Steve refuses Lieutenant Price’s plan for his escape. Price has arranged for a whole new identity for Steve, right down to plastic surgery to alter his appearance. But again, in spite of Carrie’s protests and the increased difficulty of making his contacts with the new watchdog on his back, Steve insists he can’t stop now.  Harrington has a physical checkup with Jerry Kane and reveals, in the presence of Heather and Vickie that he has an iron plate in his arm, the aftermath of a skiing accident. Harrington takes this chance meeting with Vickie as his opportunity to ask her, if she can’t stop Julian, to at least convince him to share his information and plans with the Citizen’s Committee.  Before leaving on a business trip, Harrington tells Castor he wants Julian taken care of before he gets back.  Sergeant Williams confronts Julian with the inside information he’s been using in his editor’s introductions to Carrie’s articles. Julian refuses to explain where or how he got the material. (It’s from Steve.) Tom has learned from Lena that she had Greg’s papers and let Steve have those he was interested in. Tom assures Lena that his knowing about this will harm no one, and he convinces her to let him help. Carrie is frightened when Julian suddenly disappears, and she discusses her fears with Lieutenant  Price, adding that she’s seen Joe Castor talking to Chip Williams. Ironically, at that moment Chip walks in with Steve, whom he has arrested on suspicion of auto theft for driving Denny’s car. Denny has to come to the station and vouch for Steve, an experience she finds distasteful. Steve asks her to omit his arrest from her report to Castor, as he’s afraid of being fired. Denny, whose only loyalty is to the Organization, feels she can’t do that, even though Steve reminds her that  there is only one way the Organization “fires” people. Denny does report the arrest to Castor, saying she feels Chip is out to get Steve and she doesn’t want to be involved. Denny is upset, however, when Castor informs her that Steve “is a dead man”; she was never so close to this side of the Organization’s work before. Castor informs them that they don’t have to worry  about Chip; the Organization can take care of that. He doesn’t mention, of course, that Chip has agreed to supply the Register’s source of information in exchange for Organization help in becoming Chief of Detectives. Steve senses that Denny has become withdrawn since her talk with Castor. He fills Lieutenent Price in about Castor’s assurances that Chip’s no longer a problem, but Price can’t pull Williams off without raising suspicions about Steve. Carrie and Steve meet secretly, and she tearfully expresses her fear that he won’t live long enough for them to have a future.
    • Well if I'm going to sit here and play catch up on DAYS, I guess I should squeeze in some GH...
