Okay, so I am late to posting about yesterday's episode....so here it goes:

1- When are they going to give Naomi an actual office.  Meeting with clients at Orphy Jeans is okay on occasions, but she needs to have an office and secretary to be more credible.  Everyone knows your business meeting in Orphy Jean's... so much for client confidentiality.

2- Tomas-  The actor lacks the Latino fire I expected him to see.  Yesterday he was bad.  I say either give us something to like the character more or recast him altogether.

3- Vanessa/Joey- LOVE LOVE LOVE them together.  Jon and Lauren ooze chemistry and Vanesaa will make the perfect mob wife/girlfriend. I am vested in seeing this relationship progress and unfold, but would still like a little more backstory on both characters.

4- Dani- Butting in on her daughters business. Girl please!!!! Let your daughter have her own success for once.  Also, are you saying they're no hunky doctors Dani's age they can test the waters with??  Have her open her own modeling business and become this successful business woman.

5- Ted and Nicole-  I do like them together and am disappointed they recasted him.  However I am interested to see how this wil play out with Dana.  Nicole mentioned losing a child before she had Kat. Could Eva actually be Nicole and Ted's child?? She never said the child died, what if she was kidnapped?  Dana wants to destroy Nicole too but why?? Could Dana's late husband been seeing Nicole for Mental Health issues and then committed suicide?? Could Dana blame Nicole for his death?? However this story plays out, I would like to see Nicole on her own for a while being a strong, professional and maybe test the waters with some new pairings before ultimately reuniting her and Ted.

Thats all for now, my minions ( I mean students) are making their way into my office.  Catch everyone later.

From the sounds of it, she's a humbled civil attorney, so I would assume she takes on smaller, more personal-type cases, so she may not operate out of an office⏤especially since it's been established she did not join Bill Hamilton, Esq., purposefully, despite everything assuming she would post-her school years. I don't mind the use of Orphey Gene's for the meetings, either. Now, if she does begin to take on more clients, I would expect an office be necessary for her. But, for right now, I don't deem it necessary.

I'd say it'd be better to just write him off than attempt to recast - he simply doesn't have enough connections on the canvas to make a recast worth it. I say have him get caught in the crossfire of Naomi suing the office and causing more conflict with the cousins.

Half of my family are lawyers and none meet clients where their clients want. Absolutely none. Maybe if the client is some very close personal friend... But as far as I know all of the meetings happen in the office building of the firm. Maybe it's some American thing that I'm not aware of. I'm talking from European perspective. I also think topics like what is being discussed in the show are not usually spoken in coffee shops. I have to ask someone from my family, but I think certain type of sensitive information can't be discussed legally outside the office. I'm not an expert on what exactly. But I don't think it's a good look for the attorney to do business that way.

Maybe I'm wrong. Or course it may depend on what the legal work is about.

No,it should be like that everywhere. Theres a reason why lawyer/confidentiality is a thing but that gets thrown out the window when you are discussing private case material in a public setting. Anyone can overhear that and it no longer stays confidential. Naomi's meetings at the cafe should only be informal and the case should not be discussed at all

That's what I think too. But I will ask specifically later. I just don't remember anyone from my family ever telling me they met a client at a coffee shop. We have a huge family law firm building and people go there. I've spend soo many days in my childhood years just chilling in the entrance area where all the sweets and chocolates were.

    • Ranger, will you be his champion?! Tell Dante to back the he&l off? Be there for him in the coming days when he is going to be furious & possibly turn his back on the Cerullos & the Qs & show up at Sonny's door looking for a new place to park his weary head? As for me, I watched the NB every year even when I wasn't watching GH. Many years have been disappointing. So far this year is amazingly satisfying. Clothes! Performers! Drama!  So ironic that they actually have Cam doing what we always said he should be doing, emcee, tux, mic, huge toothy grin! Snark! Could they possibly throw any more shade? Nooo! This is like 100% attitude coming from all directions. You could say I died & went to heaven. Gimme all this high school talent show soapy goodness, I mean, it's only 4 days, what kind of wimp are you, anyway? As soap fans, we are supposed to enjoy these occasional flights of fancy. Maybe you aren't, but I sure as he&l am! And, I won't let any Debbie Downers ruin it for me, either. This brief early morning message was brought to you by the letter N for what else Nurses Ball.
    • I have seen little of Wally, but I always think of the backstage story Julia Barr (I think it was Julia) told where he hated his character and storylines so much that at one point he put some form of clown makeup on in his dressing room to show his feelings.
    • Happy Birthday Giovanni Mazza!!

        Understandable
    • She's beyond awful. She needs to be sent away. We know that's not going to happen.
    • I knew that was the Manhattan skyline in the background  That’s one of the best parts of this; their relationship can go either way. Though I’m hoping that they’ll eventually find their way back to each other
    • I don't remember ANYTHING with Devon and Cliff! I do remember Liza fixated on him (around the time Angel Haining took over the role briefly as Marcy Walker left for Santa Barbara!), but not a thing about Devon. Shows how memorable it was. LOL! I do have a very hazy memory with Devon and...Wally, was it? I think that was his name, Devon's husband! (Mom watched AMC from jump, and wee little me got into it!) But I do remember poor Tricia Pursley just played Devon as a sad sack.
    • Since we need to see Tide placed in the show at least 4 times a week, Derek should be acknowledged as what happens when one accepts the Tide Pod Challenge.
    • No mention of Hope and Carter's Insta romance?   I skimmed through today's episode.   It was a status quo, pointless episode.
    • I agree that the costume designer has done well in giving characters a specific look-I just don't like Kat's! But I will concede defeat on this one... Now that the show is well established I am thinking about some of the choices mad re occupations and settings. I don't expect a soap to be a documentary but the workplace can be fertile ground for story, character interactions and to add a sense of realism. It's getting a little Y&R with people meeting up at eateries. Making Derek a firefighter seems pointless-he should have been a cop working with Jacob.Would have given him more airtime and purpose. Martin is supposedly an up and coming politician but we have no evidence of that. Maybe his office should have been a set-and some other characters work there. Jan could have worked there in some capacity, or maybe Ashley instead of being a nurse. Vernon could spend time there offering his expertise-which could lead to conflict with his grandson. Same with the Real estate business-we don't see Vanessa in that role. She would have more credibilty if we saw her at work. Ashley or Smitty might work there etc, with discussions of the business -listings, attending viewings etc Andre does real estate photography. Maybe Naomi could work for her father and they could have workplace battles. Discussing cases with Tomas and her dad. And we need to see Nicole at work. Finishing up with a client etc And for Chelsea and Kat some actual evidence of setting up the'purse line' Realizing how difficult it is to get a foothold. I like the idea of having a server at Orphey's being a wise 'talk to' for various characters. Just more effective use of the characters... What are your thoughts after several months of shows?
    • Finally, Days is a soap opera about drama. Wednesday's episode is soapy goodness.
