-- Luna says "Just because I did some bad things, that doesn't make me a bad person. Then Granny Sheila tells her the same thing.

Uh....if you kill two people in cold blood, you are a bad person. Why do I even have to say that?

-- Of course, my feelings about Killer Luna and Killer Sheila subside when I hear Steffy again rail against them. She trashes them right in front of Finn's face, and even though what she says it's true, it's unseemly and ugly to throw that up to your spouse. It makes me want the killers to go on a spree.

At this point... what Steffy is doing to poor Finn... is bullying. She doesn't let the poor guy have an opinion or his own attitude about anything. Imagine living with someone who tells you who you can meet or not meet, who you can like or not like. And I'm sorry if all the guy's blood relatives are serial killers... THEY ARE his blood relatives. And she can't make him ignore that. The guy needs proper ways to deal with this... and it's not going to be by being told - Don't see her or her or her. He needs to decide this ON HIS OWN.

In real life... men who are constantly berated... forbidden to do this and that... always cheat. So I'm surprised Finn hasn't already. It's just tiring hearing Steffy repeat the same thing every single year. What stunning 40 year old woman like Steffy does nothing but talk negatively about people she despises... It's so out of touch with reality. She's acting like Stephanie... but not in her heyday, but in the pathetic years towards the end. Not a good look. JMW deserves so much better.

Poppy would make to most sense. Of all the women on the canvas, she's the least like Steffy - as flighty and free-spirited as Steffy is calculated and controlling. The fallout would be explosive.

One thing I can't stop thinking about. Why did we need to see Brooke in lingerie last year? I mean... It didn't lead to anything. It was 5-10 episodes of everyone acting like she is the second coming of Christ... (Or something else) And that was it.

Why didn't Brooke's sudden re-activation as a fashion and soft porn icon... Lead to anything??? I remember they all acted like it was such a huge commercial success. If this is true... Why has all Brooke done in the last 8 months is cry about Ridge? This is so stupid.

I mean... Bradley Bell is bad... But even he could do better once. Do you guys remember that in the late 90s when the original Brooke in intimates project was created... It actually unleashed a new era for the character and she became Miss Professional Slut. All inhibitions were lost and she pounced on Thorne not long after. It was an evolution of sorts.

It could have been waaaaay more funnier and exciting to see Brooke get dizzy from the attention and feel sexy and desirable again.  A moment for a hot young lover type of thing that I think KKL could have sold amazingly. Just imagine the tabloids reading - Brooke Logan dating 4 decades younger man! She could have been the Madonna of the show.

So I will ask it again... Why did we see Brooke in a thong... and then nothing happened?

This question will haunt me to my grave.

Ugh.

-- Will told Katie that Luna came on to him at the Il Giordino Pizza Dump. Katie had a shocked look on her face, but we got no follow-up. Why?

-- Will says he and Luna are doing great and that he loves her. Oh, and that they're not on the same page. Say what?

-- The establishing shot for Deacon's pizza parlor has a street sign for Dayton Way, so I Googled it. It's in the heart of Beverly Hills. It's hilarious to me that Deacon could own a pizza joint in frickin Beverly Hills.

-- $Bill's excuses for Luna are something else. Don Diamont should sue for destruction of character. At least Liam got to speak for the audience as to how we feel about Bill.

-- I have no clue why Hope would go to her mother's house to flip through magazines while she's still so upset and angry with Brooke.

I think you mean what's her name? I forget too since she is so forgettable.

There are no words anymore to describe how awful this soap is. The writing is awful and repetitive. The show has totally gone off the rails.

That's her name!

Her threatening Lunatic today was laughable. This from the same girl who screamed and cried when Remy yelled Bo!

Luna like Sheila aren't a threat to anyone.

Heather Tom on Michael Fairman, discussing the details of writing/directing/acting on the March 27 episode.  It's really interesting

*standing ovation*

Brad Bell has ruined Steffy and Finn/Steffy. She treats him like a neutered dog. I'm glad the show finally had a decent guy for Steffy after the Liam torture but they went in the opposite direction to make him a doormat who barely has any agency.

Steffy berating Hope when she fired her again was so OTT and Brooke yelling at Hope? I don't even care for Hope that much, but the writers are just piling on.

Brad Bell will not get my rage views for a while after last week.

Hahhahaha.

And the neutered dog metaphor is SPOT-on. That's how she treats him. Mm-hmm. Like a dog who she is failing to train and constantly has to correct.

This is a man in his LATE 30s. Give me a break.

    • @Liberty City     , I agree, most of the cast came to play today. Leslie and Ted had me cackling in that hotel room, but Doug had the line of the episode. "Not a damn thang"!
    • Anita and Tracy were great. I hope they don't drag out the backstory too long. I normally love Leslie, but I do think today was going too far. The Nicole 2.0 part was making me lean toward not rooting for her for the first time.  Vanessa was too preachy for me with Ted. When she's so messy herself, it makes it hard to not find her as a hypocrite. I liked her early on. However, I've lost interest in her character.  Next week looks amazing. I can't wait. I hope their ratings keep bumping up steadily.
    • I think gh wanted everyone else to process tge gio reveal before dealing with gio blq and Lois Michael showing up and taking wiley home was perfect
    • Nice cliffhangers this week. I am finally interested in Anita's story. Next week looks exciting. Martin will get a moment.
    • A bit of a lackluster Friday cliffhanger, but overall good show today. The previews are exciting - finally more Hayley and then Vanessa and Joey finally get it on!
    • I really liked the Anita/Tracy scenes today.  Both powerful actresses.   They made me *want* to know what the secret is.

date: Friday, May 23 | Gregori J. Martin, Jazmen Darnell Brown | Sonia Blangiardo-Goins Dana taking the hotel room luxuries (beauty products, robe) is too real; I admit, I've never done this, but I know plenty that have. Deadbeat trying to romance Bradley, who will continue to cockblock him (as he should). I appreciate the on-going dynamics with Anita and Tracy and how Tracy's continued feelings are built up. And just when I thought Shanice was mellowing out... the gossip is right back out. Good on Douglas for putting her in line. Oh, more history with Vernon! This is very exciting to me. Love this kind of storytelling. Uh-oh, Douglas is [finally] seeing what is being exactly sold by Joey to Vanessa... and I know he don't like it. Good on Ted for calling Dana out on [some] of the twisted lies she's been telling and the manipulation she's been pulling with Eva. And finally... someone is telling her one of the places her crazy ass is going: JAIL! Dang... Tracy's foot is firmly on Anita Williams' neck (not Anita Dupree), and she is not letting it up. I just realised... Dana's mirror is giving the Magic Mirror in Snow White and the Seven Dwarves. And she's as delusional as the Evil Queen. Not Dana dressing herself up as Nicole; homegirl is certifiable and needs to seek counselling in a mental hospital immediately. I appreciate Vanessa calling out Ted; however, the continued call-outs at the Nurse's Hub at the hospital are a choice. Uh-oh, who else was caught in the decisions that Anita made way back when? Is it Dante Greene, too? Did someone have his baby? Tracy or Sharon? Or something else? Notes: Keith D. Robinson (Ted) continues to shine; his subtleties in the role are brilliant and do so much in providing Ted the much-needed humanisation he was missing. When are we going to cast Dante Greene? He keeps being named, and when a name drops, we're bound to see it. Lauren Buglioli (Vanessa) showed up to work today extra hard; I loved her conflicted emotion, given Vanessa's own actions in her marriage.
    • Bish, you could never and I mean NEVA be Queen Nicole. @alwaysAMC She's been giving Janet for months now.
    • The wig and wardrobe is on point, but her dialogue in the mirror didn't do it for me.
