Yep… still Team Jacob.

But I was still liking the conflict between him and Naomi though and I’m excited to see where it’s gonna go. And I wonder if the new partner is going to play into it.

And, I’m surprised but I actually had a little sympathy for Bill too

I honestly find Naomi and Jacob to be a snooze.

In my experience most modern soaps have one sacrificial lamb early in their run. Often it's one of the purest or kindest characters. I think a Dupree will die in the first year (pre-planned or otherwise) and I won't be shocked if it is Naomi, who is angelic, upright and boring to a fault. I might cut both of them. He said in Week 3! I know, I'm awful.

That is her cousin possibly. But something tells me, too, he might be her brother b/c Ted keeps bringing him up.

Call me farfetched, but something tells me they're twins and MVJ and Guza might borrow from their Santa Barbara days with the Quinn/Robert twin arc. I assume this b/c I remember Sheila Duckworth and Daphnee Duplaix saying it gets real wacky for Nicole around the end of April.

Oh, their marriage is headed towards trouble. I think the detective is about to cause a lot hardship for them going forward. I can foresee him getting Jacob wrapped up in some mess.

I want it to happen to b/c it'd put Leslie and Dani at odds, too. Could you imagine those two combustible elements at each other's necks?! Heaven help the DMV area and Fairmont Crest.

Oh well.  They're taking it and elevating the name to new heights! Plus, this TomKat is . The original was creepy and I feel like Josephine Potter ain't recovered since that mess.

Wasn't Dr. Jonathan Kinder a plastic surgeon?  I know he was tied up in the Erica, Janet, Skye, Marian storyline (which I loved) back in the 90s... maybe I'm mixing up his profession with Janet's plastic surgery return, but I thought he might have been.

Episode 12: messy/sloppy.  Jacob/Naomi not working for me. They should have made Bill and Ted brothers. The episode felt disjointed.  Still feel Zimmerman/Brown are a winning script combo but Dani's character is still a mess of contradictions.  They got some work to do with some of the actors (Ted, Jacob in particular in this episode). I liked Anita/Vernon scenes. Some of the pop culture and historical references in the script are a bit heavy handed but I like the realism they are bringing to some of the plots/characters.

What I found odd about Ted recognizing Silkpress is that they made such a point last week that he hadn't recognized her last week when he passed her by. Something is definitively off, though would they already pull the ole twin switcharoo trope?

Silkpress vs Dani has potential to be epic. I agree with you guys. I can definitely see Dani held in a dungeon by Silkpress... who has taken over her social media and posts for her behalf.
