His stories are not good. The dialogue is repetitive, and character names seem to be copied and pasted from old scripts. How many times are we going to hear Fake Ridge say the words "How could you do this to me?"

THIS! What would have been good would have been if the Forresters threatened to call the police, and Bill said, "That's fine. But, then I'll need to tell them that Taylor shot me."

And, we're supposed to believe that Bill got Luna a full pardon for TWO murders. If they had to get Luna out of jail, the best way would have been to somehow reveal that she wasn't the one who killed Tom and Hollis...only "thought" she did due to a mental break. A HUUUUUUGE stretch but would have made a tiny bit more sense.

The fact that this show has nearly 1 million more viewers in ratings... than GH and BTG... is just offensive at this point. Vile. Because it's in a pit of artistic failure. And they have 75 000 new viewers compared to last year?!!

What the hell is going on?

Are people's standards really this low. Or am I the one that is out of touch with reality.

I just watched yesterday's episode in 1.75 speed. So it took me a little more than 10 minutes. I'm not giving it more time. Taylor is insufferable. We lost Krista Allen for this?!!   Excuse me... Taylee, not Taylor. All she does is repeat whatever Ridge says. If Ridge says - The sky is red, Taylee confirms - The sky looks to be red. Doesn't Bradley Bell get tired of glorifying this chauvinist pig Ridge every single day. It's like the entire show exists around his ego.

I can't help but think... if KKL leaves... in a year or two, I won't be surprised. Brooke is dead at this point.  I'm so sad to have to say this, since you all know KKL is my girl. She is my favorite soap actress since I was a child. But I'm sad to see the condition the character is in. Pathetic, lost, no layers, no nuances, no strength, no drive, no drama. DEAD.

THIS WAS THE ERA for Brooke Revival and Brooke Renaissance. It's been decades since she's left Ridge and become CEO. Decades since she's been in a similar position. This was a time to bring a new man for her and make her find true love later in life. Just imagine the chemistry she had with Hollis and how we were robbed of that.

But no. Brooke is basically written out.

And when in a year she is back in the corner acting like Ridge's cheerleader and Hope's emotional support... this will be all so disappointing.

Amen!!

Back when B&B was good it was Brooke and Stephanie who drove the show forward, and regardless if you agreed with their actions or not you always knew where they came from and why they did the things they did. They were both fully rounded characters with positive and negative traits, and you cared about them.

I have no idea why I should give a damn about Steffy or Hope, or Brad's newest shining toy Luna.

Carter randomly turning the company back over is such a yawn. They should have played that story for months with Steffy and Zende trying to make Carter look bad only for Carter to outsmart them. Give some kind of build up before Carter crashes...not just hand the company back over.

I remember when everyone called this "the Brooke Show" or "the Liam Show". Ya know, I'd watch those any day instead of "the Luna Show". So nauseating. I couldn't care less about this character...or Finn...or Poppy.

Taylor being all hypercritical of Luna was a joke. Wasn't Taylor responsible for Darla's death? Shooting Bill in the back? She ain't no saint! Quiet "Taylor"...or whomever you are.

I really, really wished CBS would have given BTG the timeslot right after Y&R to give it the best shot for its launch, and then moved B&B to air right after it. I really feel like B&B doesn't even try at this point. Everyone's dialogue just repeats...over and over and over. There's no nuance, no long-term impacts of any story, and the show has grown stale and old fashion.

How can a show that takes place in the FASHION industry in LOS ANGELES not have a single gay or Latino character in 2025? Instead, we get boring characters like Elecktra (that name!) and Will to "lead" the young characters. Serial killers get pardoned. "Business stories" are a yawn. A horrible, horrible recast for Taylor (not the fault of RB), and a total misogynistic lead in Ridge. Brooke has been reduced to just begging Ridge for scraps. I feel like when I do check out some of the show it's just to hate watch it.

BTG is a million times better!

I hear you! I record it every day, but find myself FF just to see certain scenes. I immediately skip past every scene featuring Ridge and Taylor.

Some people are saying today's episode of BTG was boring. I vehemently disagree, but if that's considered boring, I'll take it any day.

I'm seriously starting to wonder if KKL will leave. I never ever thought that would happen, but with the horrible way Brooke is being written now and how marginalized she has become I can't help but wonder.

If that happens, would Brad Bell be stupid enough to recast Brooke? Can you imagine trying to play out the endless Brooke/Ridge/Taylor merry-go-round with three recasts?

-- KKL won't leave. At this poinT in her life, my guess is that this is just a paycheck to her. I'm sure she's given up on hoping for better Brooke story.

-- So the day after her pardon, Luna looks like an influencer who spent all day shopping on Rodeo Drive and getting her hair and nails done?

-- Carter just hands over the company because his "victories are hollow"? LOL Now he can go back to being the company "brother" who's nowhere near the inner circle.

-- Were we supposed to feel something when Carter handed the stapler to Eric? Jesus.

-- Do I care about Hope? No.

@ranger1rg Perfect summary!

The only thing that's made sense all week was Poppy calling out Luna on her alleged horrible childhood.

After everything $B has done, why on earth would he coldly kick out Lunacy that same night without a place to stay? Are the streets of LA safer than prison? This is typical Brad when he decides to abruptly terminate a storyline that doesn't work. But $B could've said he set up in a safe place a little money to get started? Illogical.

Carter tearing up the papers doesn't matter because a signed copy had to be filed with the state. Whatever.

I hope they at least play out Carter finding out that Daphne was Steffy's plant. Similar to the way Brooke discovered Ridge/Stephanie almost tricked her out of BeLief, which still ranks as B&B's best overall story. It's unrivaled.

Didn't Bill...just in the last episode...tell Luna she needed to leave and be gone before he got back from a meeting??? Yet, she was still there...in a new outfit and just hanging out. WTH?

A few weeks from now, no one when even talk about the lame "takeover." It'll be back to the same repetitive dialogue. Carter will be back to being Ridge's "best friend" and "just like family." That's been one of the shows issues for a VERY long time. There are no story repercussions. It's more like everything just resets right back to what it was before.

I can't believe we had to see that damn stapler again.

    • I’ve been enjoying the pace the show has taken recently. Things don’t languish as long as they have and if they are drawing something out, like Gio’s adoption, it’s hasn’t been as excruciating. Also, my nosey nature would appreciate less interaction with posters I have on ignore so I don’t have to click on “options”.

    • Okay...I'm just going to call it. Ambyr Michelle is the breakout star of this show with the young set hands down! There is no character like Eva that pulls my heart strings, and she's playing it perfectly. If Eva and Leslie are on, it's a good episode! If written properly, Eva and Kat's rivalry is one that could go on for YEARS. Of course, it's fun to speculate about who is really whom, but I could see them developing as frenemies after some time. They really need a guy to tussle over to amp it up. Tomas is pretty, but the actor has got to loosen up some in his scenes, I think. He is improving though. It would be good to introduce a new young man in that story for a foursome.  Martin and Smitty finally feel like a real couple to me, too. Hopefully, they locked them into four year contracts.
    • I'll be that guy and say I don't think TMG is a fool. This is a popular contract role on a year-round soap opera for a woman of a certain age (to say nothing of a woman of color). If I'm her I pull a Kimberlin Brown and ride this til the wheels fall off.
    • Tbf it's not unusual for a family when they are dealing with some bad news that changes a life to use song to give out hope.Especially black families. I personally had to deal with that very thing this weekend. Partly off putting, but at the same time, I did get the point and it gave me a bit of hope in the moment.      MM is definitely acting. But Smitty is just so passive. It could turn into quiet strength at some point, but for now...passive IMO.
    • Am I remembering correctly that the Madison's lived in a Spanish revival-style house? I have a vague recollection of the fireplace looking especially Spanish in style. It is unusual that Montecello had so many architectural styles.  Obviously, that might occur IRL.  But, look at other east coast soaps and there is a definitive style that is throughout (because it was styled by a set decorator) regardless of the income of the occupants.
    • @kalbir MSW was a powerhouse for CBS. Angela Lansbury was a superb actress. In 1985, TV viewers were tiring of the primetime soaps and the like. People wanted storytelling and MSW was great at that and had great guest stars. Storytelling -- an amazing and novel concept. CBS Daytime by 1985 was beating ABC so CBS was on the upswing.
    • I'd say just the opposite - conflict means they will find out and then be at odds. For the limited amount of time people on this show have conflict (if they aren't named Nina or Ric, I guess).
    • Totes mcgoats (aka I agree). But, now the character needs to move forward.  Clyde's exit was 12/11/24.  It is May.  She and Chad have been on one date. I don't think they've slept together. And she was only planning on sticking around for a year.
    • That is one of the best insults I've heard in a long time.  I burst out laughing when Kat called Eva that.  LOL Their scenes, of course, were really good.  Colby and Ambyr have so much chemistry.  The only thing I'd change is Kat saying "you're dead to me."  That's a phrase usually said about someone you care about.  I would've preferred something like "You will never be my sister," or something similar to that.  Nice contrast at the end with both mothers/daughters:  Kat comforting/consoling her mother, and Eva being locked out by her mother.  Yeah, I wasn't a big of fan of the singing either, especially after your daughter's life has been destroyed.  What?  LOL And I also agree with those that thought Dana/Leslie's scenes with the Dupree's didn't feel right since Eva is not a Dupree....unless she is.  But as of right now, she's not.
    • Trisha Mann-Grant, Ambyr Michelle, Sean Freeman are destined for bigger and better things. They need to move on as soon as their initial contracts are done.
