GH: March 2025 Discussion Thread

I am going to say what should be said: Tabyana Ali (Trina) & Jens Austin Astrup (Kai) have zero chemistry. It's a dud pairing. To think Astrup was cast with the intention of being purposefully paired with Ali is so headscratching because the chemistry is not there. Realistically, Jequan Jackson (Quinn) is who they should be pairing her with, as there is actual chemistry between the two of them, and Astrup could be cut altogether and wouldn't be missed or even noticeably gone.

I guess the purpose of Kai was to replace TJ. TJ vanished from the show shortly after he appeared.

Today's episode  was goof. Good cross section of characters

Today's show was worth watching to see Gio in those jeans.

I still can't get behind a Brad/Lucas recoupling, but I thought Van Hansis really sold the hell out of those scenes, making me believe that (for whatever far-fetched reason) Lucas was ready to jump Brad's bones. 

I guess all those years being paired with Jake Silbermann really taught him how to generate onscreen sexual heat with a partner who's not giving you much to work with. Now if they'd just give him a love interest who could match his intensity--is Eric Sheffer Stevens still available?

And yes, agreed that Van did a good job today. 

I love how Sonny wants his new house to be like Fort Knox, yet there’s a big ass window right in the main room 😂😂

But what was that nonsense with Tracy and Martin? I’m glad that it seems to be building a Tracy/Gio grandma-grandson relationship though.

Considering all the things happening on BTG, Sonny buying Valentin's house was really no comparison to soapy drama.   Anyhow, does Kristina just follow Sonny around town?  How weird was it that she just popped up and dissed Ava's house?  Like, girl, you only have a job because your dad gifted you a bar.

I do like Gio and Tracy though.  

I'm not gonna lie, I ain't watched this in a couple weeks and I'm not inclined to come back.

I don't blame you.  I don't think the quality has necessarily declined from a few weeks ago just other options make you realize how boring GH is day to day.

All I can say is, when you're about to go head-to-head with the first new soap opera in 25 years - not to mention, the first, hour-long soap with a Black family as the main cast - and the best you can do to counter that is "Josslyn Jacks, Super Spy".....

This daily thread used to be the most popular one on the board and now no one cares lol.  GH has been creatively struggling to do anything exciting for a long time.  It's not ridiculously horrible like Days, but it's just dull.  It's not even just the wash, rinse, repeat with Sonny/Jason/Carly show.  Everything has stalled.
